I don't know where the name AEIOU comes from, but the Massachusetts General Urgent Care was fine. Handled my problem fairly quickly. The usual paperwork/insurance is needed; you'll fill out the usual forms. Treatment was quick and easy. Only one provider on staff on a Friday, but not a long wait, either. Well done. read more

Our family has used them several times for urgent care. Staff very knowledgeable and professional. Glad they're in Greenfield.

Visiting from out of state and our 16 month old woke up with pink eye. We had to get a referral from our pediatrician back home which we did. Staff was welcoming, friendly and very professional. We saw PA Kevyn and he could not have been more gentle and engaged with our daughter. It was awesome to feel so cared for in an unfamiliar place. From arrival to departure it was about 90 minutes. Not the speediest experience I've had at urgent care, but certainly not the longest. And when the staff are this attentive, I'll happily take the wait. Our prescription was called into the CVS up the street and was ready by the time we got there. Great option for urgent care! read more

i just walked in to see a doc and cleared back for work. the lady at the front desk was rude and pushed me out the door. told me to call and register called waited 20 mind on hold for the same rude lady refuse medical attention she told me i was not sick and cant be seen!! i will be reporting.. they dont deserve 1 star read more

Worst place ever. You're better off going to a vet. Patients are treated as inconveniences. Eye rolls abound.

Wow!! Caitlin Budrewicz, DNP, CNP is super thorough, and has a really great manner of care. Caitlin listens carefully, and explains her Diagnosis of issues at hand in an easy to understand way. She is very willing to work with a patient's input and needs. The office staff at this AEIOU is very caring. We feel there has been a great improvement and turn around from a couple of years ago at this AEIOU because they have new staff people! We are very grateful for this. Thanks, I came in with a back issue (turns out a bulging disk), the staff was friendly and the doctor knew exactly how to test for the different possibilities, describing what he was doing along the way. This a a fantastic urgent care center with knowledgeable providers. The entire staff was "on the ball" keeping me informed about wait time- informed of test results and most important the Physician Assistant Linda Bean knew more than the specialist I usually see. I recently moved to Greenfield and have not yet found a new primary care. I fell and hurt my wrist and went to urgent care to get checked out. I was given a splint and sent to the hospital for an x-ray. The hospital claims to have sent the results 2 days ago and again today. AEIOU still can't tell me if it is broken or not. I've called numerous times and urgency is not in their vocabulary. Two days later and I still can't get any results of an x-ray. I will not darken their door again read more

I went here last year with my daughter after she was bit by a deer tick. It took me less than 20 minutes to be seen (it wasn't busy) and the staff was very friendly and accepted my insurance (which was one of the masshealth plans). They asked how long the tick had been on her (only a couple of hours, as I knew it happened during a nature walk earlier that day), and were caring and friendly with her. They also helped to calm me down because I was freaking out (I have two people in my family with Lyme disease, and was so scared that now my daughter would get it). They gave me good followup instructions and after care, what to watch for etc and thankfully she was fine after that. I would go back. I can't really judge whether it's 4 or 5 stars because it was very quiet that day and we had a pretty simple visit. I would need to know how they handled a more complex situation to be sure about 5 stars, but they did the job and it was fine. read more

I came here for a (maybe?) sinus infection which I thought was fine to wait until I could go to my primary care when I got back from vacation, but the advice nurse for my health insurance said no, to go to someone right away. Kevyn saw me, and listened to everything I had to say and was really nice about the whole thing. (I mean of course he did an exam, too, but the listening doesn't happen everywhere). Also, the office staff were helpful and patient as I figured out what I needed to do to make it work with my insurance, and recommended a nearby pharmacy and gave me directions to it. I was there on a Friday about mid-day, and there was almost no wait once I figured out all the paperwork and turned it in. They even called me a week later and left me a message to call back if I had questions. Also, I wasn't hurried through the exam at all and Kevyn let me ask all of my questions, and answered them until I didn't have any more. I was worried about taking time and lots of money to go to urgent care and having it be basically useless, you know, at a place that is happy to take your money, not listen to you, not tell you anything, and push you out the door, and I'm really glad I found this place because it was the opposite of that. read more

I am very happy that we have the option of using these walk-in clinics during this difficult transitional period in American health care, and my experiences with the AEIOU clinic in Greenfield have been quite good. The reason I would only give them three stars is because of their billing system. You pay when you walk in, either by submitting health insurance info, or paying by direct debit or credit card or cash. Not having health insurance the last time I went, I paid with my bank card. A month and a half later I got a bill saying my unpaid bill was going to collection! I do not think this is a fair or good practice (besides having been an error on their part, which was quickly rectified). Speaking to the office manager I was told that if a patient has any issue with payment, or cannot pay all at once, arrangements can be made. But I think that such a rapid threat to have a bill sent to collection is harmful to those who depend on this type of clinic for their health needs and I protested against it. read more
