Nova Lox bagel

Tulio's Bakery is the real deal--honestly the closest you're getting to an Italian bakery this side of the coastline. The food? Outstanding. The staff? Friendlier than your favorite aunt who insists you take leftovers home. Parking wasn't even bad (a small miracle around here). And let's be real--if you walk into a place and see the owner back there hustling right alongside everyone else, you know you've struck gold. 10/10, will happily carbo-load here again.

Saltwater taffy! Fresh and tasty!

Went there around noon on the weekend and many of the things were out of stock. However what was in stock was amazing! This is an amazing little bakery and we will be back but earlier in the day!

Outside of the bakery! It's hidden across the street from Duck Donuts!

Wow! Friendly staff, quick service (everything is made to order), and lots of wonderful food options. My husband has bought their salt water taffy every time we've walked into this bakery. I'm obsessed with the smoothies, especially the mango smoothie. My favorite breakfast order is the egg and cheese with extra cheese on a croissant. My husband loves the turkey cheddar sandwich on an everything bagel. The ambiance is quick pick up, no sitting down, though there is some outside benches around. 10/10 breakfast spot for grabbing and going to the beach/daiky activities

Good coffee, pleasant service and an amazing array of baked goods! Donuts, bagels, muffins, pastries, cakes, eclairs; they have it! They also do breakfast sandwiches. Everything we had was delicious and we visited several times over the week.

Good lobster tail, black and white cookie and rainbow cake. The counter was very good to help lots of people behind the counter.

We grabbed a dozen fresh donuts from Tullio's while on vacation this week! Truthfully, we planned to order from duck donuts which had a 2 hour wait around 8:30 AM on a Thursday... We were so happy we found Tullio's - the donuts were delicious, hot and fresh! The maple bacon, apple fritter & Boston cream donuts were my favorite. Highly recommend checking out this local spot for some yummy !

Amazing bakery serving some of the best donuts, pastries and breakfast sammies! An absolute MUST when staying or visiting in Duck. Will always make this place a stop when in town

Tullíos was a cool little bakery that we tried for dessert one night will in duck. Although I didn't go in the store or pick up the dessert, the people I was with that did said the service was good and pricing was fair. As for the cupcakes themselves, the red velvet one was pretty good. They nailed the red velvet flavoring. The carrot cake one was also super good. That one was my favorite, the frosting paired super nicely with the carrot cake base. The vanilla one was exactly what you'd think a vanilla cupcake would be, nothing special. The chocolate one is very very chocolatey. It smacks you in the face. For me I like chocolate but not that much. The cupcakes were decent in size and the ratio of frosting to cake was exactly hot it should be. I think this shop is something you should try if you are in Duck! Make sure to try the carrot cake one!

This one of the best Italian bakeries. The cannoli cake is unreal and the pastries are incredible. A must try if you visit OBX.

Y'ALL. I can't even put into words how much I LOVE this place…read more Tucked away here in Duck, NC on the beautiful Outer Banks, this little bakery is truly a hidden gem. Honestly, part of me wanted to keep it a secret... but it's way too good not to share! The cupcakes? Moist, soft, perfectly sweet, and topped with just the right amount of frosting + garnish. Absolute perfection. The cheesecake? Listen... it's "slap-your-mama" good. I'm talking about that close-your-eyes kind of bite that takes you straight back to a childhood memory. Pure magic. The red velvet? Heavenly. Moist, rich, and decadent enough to transport you to another time and place. I honestly believe food has the power to bring back memories -- and this bakery proves it. Every bite is a little trip down memory lane, and I promise, you'll feel it too. If you're visiting OBX or anywhere nearby... RUN, don't walk. ‍ Support local. Support passion. We had to rush to find a place to make cupcakes and we found icings on the cake. It was two weeks prior to my wedding and I was worried I wouldn't find a place. I was so thrilled that icings on the cake said they could do the 4 dozen cupcakes and when asked if they could do sunflowers I was told yes. Especially seeing the cupcakes on the website icingsonthecakes.com (picture 3). What I got was so dissapointing. (Picture 1) which looks does not look like a professional did Thankfully I had friends who went out and fixed (picture 2). We hired Claire's Cakes in September 2025 to make our wedding desserts (6 dozen cupcakes and 3 cheesecakes). Everything seemed to be running smoothly until a few weeks before our wedding when her communication with us began to slow. We had arranged to pay extra to meet her on the Friday (11/28) before our Saturday (11/29) wedding to pick up our desserts. We confirmed this pick up date multiple times. On Friday, 11/21 (at 8:25 pm), she emails us: "I'm able to deliver on Wednesday 11/26/25 at whatever time is most convenient for you. As we get closer to the date, I'll provide an updated delivery window. I am currently out of town for the remainder of the weekend on business and will be back on Monday." So, despite multiple confirmations that the order was to be picked up on Friday, she now has the wrong pick up date. On Saturday, 11/22, we responded: "Enjoy your weekend (even if it is on business)! We had talked about delivery on Friday, November 28th (not Wednesday, 11/26). Let us know if that Friday still works -- we are at your disposal on that Friday (11/28) to meet to pick up the cupcakes/cheesecakes at whatever time is most convenient to you!" On Monday, 11/24 (at noon) -- the Monday before our Saturday wedding -- she writes us: "I wanted to reach out regarding your event. I've just been informed that a family member I am caring for has a scheduled surgery, and I will be unavailable for at least three days following Thanksgiving. Due to this family emergency, I am unable to work or dedicate the necessary time to create these items. Unfortunately, with the short notice and circumstances, I will not be able to accommodate your desserts for Friday." We find it a little odd that, between late Friday night and by noon on Monday (the day she returned from a business trip), a family member she is taking care of would suddenly have surgery scheduled for the day before Thanksgiving (or even the week of Thanksgiving). Given that she tried to change the pick up date to the Wednesday before Thanksgiving, was out of town on business until Monday, and then, at noon Monday, used a family member to avoid providing deserts the Friday after Thanksgiving (which was the agreed-upon date), it seems the most logical thing is this .... When she made the commitment to make the desserts, she did not realize it was Thanksgiving week and that she would be making our desserts on Thanksgiving for the Friday delivery. And, when she realized the promised Friday was the day after Thanksgiving, she used an excuse that garnered the most sympathy/understanding (family member surgery). We hate to sound uncaring about her situation or that a family member needed surgery, but it just seems like a made up excuse. If it is not, our prayers to her family member. If she had at least given us some advance notice that she was taking care of a family member or had circumstances that may interfere with her ability to make the desserts for our wedding, we could have made a contingency plan. For example, our caterer could have made the deserts with a little more notice. As it is, we had to scramble -- my daughter made 3 dozen cupcakes the night before the wedding and we ordered plain Harris Teeter sheet cakes for the rest. Perhaps the professional thing for Ms. Claire to have done was to call someone she knows who could have fulfilled the order or at least made the effort to find someone to cover for her. OR... if she had said she would need to change the delivery to Wednesday because of the situation, maybe we would have been okay with that (presumably the desserts would have still been okay on Saturday?), but she did not -- she just canceled.

There are plenty of no-charge condiments plus some like fried egg, bacon, grilled onions or peppers, etc for a charge.
