I always enjoy Tulipan. The staff is friendly and happy. Food and cafe are always excellent. I would love to have lunch or a snack here every day, so it's probably good I am a few miles away. The sounds, smells, and energy are wonderful. Every visit is a treat.

    Café con Leche

Y'all - this place made the best cafe con leche. I was so excited to be able to stop here as where I live I can't get a cafe con leche much less a Cuban sandwich. I wanted a pastilito with guava and cream cheese but I'm not eating sugar these days so I could just dream. They offer daily lunch specials here and everything looked great. I loved the cafe today.

What an amazing place!!! The pastelitos are so flaky and butter and rich and the breakfast sandwich was spectacular!!! The service takes a bit to make food or coffee, but the pastries come out pretty quick!

Traditional and cozy-- Cafe con leche was straight forward and delicious (no sugar). Been empanada was okay/not bad. Definitely fresh (same day). My friend had a guava pastry and a cafe con leche as well. Parking is a bit tight (they were quite busy for a Friday morning). I appreciated that it met all my expectations of a traditional Cuban bakery ! Another review giving it to you straight no chaser! Enjoy!

The Tulipan Bakery and Cafe offers many bakery items such as cakes, cookies, desserts and also some Spanish baked products such as empanadas and coffees. It is a family owned company with 2 locations in both West and North Palm Beach. We have been to North Palm Beach and the Staff and Service was very welcoming. The store is clean and parking is not a problems. The Beef and Chicken Empanadas were delicious.

    Thin Ham & Cheese Sandwich

There were a lot of tempting looking foods and pastries. Unfortunately I was headed to a free diving class so I was told to avoid coffee and eat light. I decided to go with these really thin sandwiches with a slice of cheese and ham which they heated up for me. Although simple, it was really good and hit the spot. I wanted to go back to try other items but I ran out of time.

Service is fast and polite. Hot food and great Colada.

Cafe con leche was the best around. Beef empanadas are good but small. Authentic place with great service and everything was fresh.

Steer clear of this clip joint…read more How about 30% fee on top of your bill for service, but they don't tell you about until after the meal? It's mandatory. Real French like Pepe Le Pew. About as French a french fries and gravy on top in Montreal. Way more toothless Montreal than Paris. Typical restaurant, 30% cost of goods sold, but and also a 30% fee for delivering the food to your table... The owner's probably keep a big chunk of that. So you're paying the labor costs without any notice on the menu, and maybe the electric bill. Complete clip joint with mediocre food and a mini strip mall. French people would not be caught dumb here. You got kids? Find a bole or a first watch or a whole foods and get what you actually pay for. Not $30 for table service on top of $100 bill for soup and a real French panini. Weeeeeeeee monsewer.

If you want to know how the French dine, this is the place for you. The Food: This where the bistro shines. I chose the Les OCufs Gratings which featured baked eggs with soft center, a touch of cream & melted Swiss cheese. I added the ham and spinach optional. The dish was accompanied with a toasted baguette. It was a fantastic dining experience!! In addition to my entree I also tried their raisin roll which was a wonderfully light and crispy pastry that represents French pastries beautifully. One negative, I ordered a black tea (only offered Earl Grey) and steamed milk (got hot milk). You would think a place that offers cappuccinos and lattes could be able to provide steamed milk but, obviously not here. However, I must admit, although I don't like Earl Grey tea, this version was actually ok. Service: Where the ambiance and food scores 5 stars, the service drags it all down to a 3 star experience. My server deserted me after I placed my order. Asking for more hot water (for my tea), another honey packet or anything else required me getting up and searching for "anyone" to assist. The Bottom Line: As always, my "customer so what"... would I come back: Most likely, because the food and atmosphere were exceptional, I'd more than likely put up with the service. If you don't mind paying the price of being ignored to "eventually" enjoy a fantastic meal, you'll like this bistro.

We saw meatloaf, chicken piccata, lasagna, ribs, I mean I can go on and on. They also have a market to buy other goods. My one complaint is the staff. The guy who made our sandwiches was so polite, but he was the only one. The hot case is right next to the pizza, so you would think if the lady asked for some meatballs he would take care of it, especially since the deli line was so long. The guy in the pizza station had no customers, but still told the lady she had to wait and ask the deli for the THREE meatballs she wanted. Checking out was the same. Just rude, no acknowledgment. Will I still come if in the area, probably but I'll give them the same energy they give their customers!

So the dirty water gun was soaking in water that he was about to pour into people's glasses. I almost threw up. Then....we witnessed him drop the water jug into the ice - the same ice that servers were using to make drinks. Who knows where the bottom of the water jug has been as I'm sure he has put it down a time or two on bar tops, table tops, etc. And now, it's sitting in the ice. Gross. Lastly, there had to be 100 flies all over the outside bar. Regular flies and also fruit flies. I hate to leave this negative review but am doing so in the hopes that they clean up, because we really love Carmines.

I didn't realize that Alaina's was a sit-down establishment that just so happened to have a refrigerated glass display of sweet treats, baked goods, and cakes to enjoy on-site or to go. Its aesthetic was a lot classier than I anticipated. I thought it would be more of a diner-type environment, but instead it's much more visually appealing as a dining area with both table and booth seating, serving high-end booze and solid cuisine. I ordered their two-egg sandwich with bacon and fruit, which allowed me to live my best life. It was delicious. Their bacon in particular was magical. The iced coffee black helped me wash it down. Price-wise, it was reasonable. I would need to come back for happy hour and discovered they have dinner as well -- originally thought it was only open through lunch hour. It comes off as much more upscale, especially once you enter the interior. I was impressed by Bruichladdich scotch selections on their liquor shelves, as well as their lovely Belgian beers in stock in the bottom-level fridge and on tap. They have brunch-themed cocktails to enjoy. I'll have to return with the missuses to enjoy more, as I was impressed by what I saw. But I need to try dinner there to confirm my speculation.
