Like many people, I spend too much time on the computer and at a desk. Subsequently, I get a lot of…read moretension and stiffness in my neck, shoulder blades, etc. I also have tightness in my arms/hands from repetitive stress and minor carpal tunnel. Jessica is able to find all the right spots to work on. She can tell when she hits a muscle that's tight or knotted (I'm always thinking it's amazing that she can tell the worst spots without me telling her!) and gives those areas extra attention. Over the years, I've been to four massage therapists in the area and all have been beneficial, but for my preferences Jessica has the perfect mix of a serious deep tissue massage (a "good hurt") while still feeling like a treat. Of course, she can adapt the massage to what one needs, but I need someone to help with my discomfort and I always feel better for at least a week (sometimes two) after a session.

I always feel so refreshed after each massage (and have even fallen asleep a few times, a testament to how relaxing she makes each massage, even when it's deep tissue). She has helped tremendously through my back and neck pain and tightness over the years (due to accidents and scoliosis) and with both of my knees due to chondromalacia (little to no cartilage left). If you're in the area, definitely check out Azitala! Hot yoga is so much fun and it's a great workout. This also gets me through the winter, knowing I'll be instantly warm in a matter of minutes.
