I look forward to Tudor's anytime I'm in West Virginia. It's usually my first stop, bright and early, on a long day of driving and these biscuits are probably the highlight of that drive. Fluffy inside, buttery crisp top and bottom, HUGE. Everything I've ever wanted a biscuit to be. We always hit up the drive thru and get through quickly and with great service. Food was great. The workers were friendly, helpful and funny. Order was wrong to start and it was fixed in an amusing and great way.

I used the ladies room and they had just mopped the floor & it was sopping wet. Thank Goodness I have my good sneakers on. It's a tiny bathroom & if you're a big woman, you won't fit in there. They need a non-slip mat on the tile floor, a new toilet seat & the hot & cold faucet is backwards. But the food is very good & I didn't burn my left hand trying to get the flimsy top off my big coffee again. I know it's an old building & all, but improvements need to be made. read more

Always a favorite for biscuits, but this time we tried the low carb plate. It was good, but I missed having a biscuit. My son had a hot dog and he said it was so good that he wanted another one. Scarfed down both of them. I really love the "greasy spoon" atmosphere here and the friendly staff. I had to take my car to the shop to have a Oil Sensor installed so while waiting the approximate hour, I walked over to Tudor's Biscuit World. Normally, I get the Mary B Biscuit but today I chose the Daily Special of Biscuits n' Gravy and a large Pepsi. Opted to dine in instead of eating in the lobby of the garage. The food was good! Definitely would go back again! I just hate eating a lone but I need to work on that! read more

Great name considering both are full of bologna. I was recommended to try the shaved ham and cheese biscuit as well. I was incredibly, pleasantly surprised. There are several locations across WV. I had the DUKE and it was Ahhhhh-mazing! The biscuit was buttery and very light. The coffee was really yummy and the seating area was clean. Don't let the exterior send you away, the staff was very nice and made us feel right at home. read more

Tudors is pretty much in a class all by itself, the biscuits and breakfast platters are amazing. Sandwiches are above average, gotta try the "Fried Bologna" w/Onion Rings. Servers are friendly and fast and tipping isn't required but if you have them bus your table, why not. I'm all over the country and places like this are very rare or non existent. -Rich read more

I think the best way to paint you a picture in this review is to recall an experience that I had when I brought an out of towner to Tudors for the first time. I went to college in Morgantown before our first Tudors arrived, but the tales of the best biscuits in the state lingered on campus. I had the chance to bring a good friend from Maryland to his first Tudors and since I and everyone else from WV had hyped it up so much, he was excited. I introduced him to his first Peppy - melted cheese, thin cut pepperoni, all on a fluffy, country biscuit. His eyes lit up as soon as he bit in. He had seen the Tudors light and could never go back. It felt like I was experiencing the magic for the first time with him. I fell in love with it all over again. Tudor's Biscuit World is a regional fast service restaurant chain in West Virginia serving up fresh biscuits, biscuit sandwiches, breakfast dishes (all day), and burgers, hot dogs, sandwiches & comfort meals during lunch. While looking for a place to stop for breakfast, I saw that Tudor's Biscuit World in Ripley looked very busy with a long queue of vehicles in the drive thru lane wrapped around the building. The parking lot is very tight with limited parking in front and along the northside of the building. I found a parking spot on the side of the building. The place is order at the counter and there are several tables inside for eating in. I went inside and it took me a few moments to decide what biscuit sandwich I wanted since they all sounded pretty good! I decided to order the Thundering Herd ($3.99, spicy sausage patty, hash brown, cheese, grilled egg between a big biscuit. My biscuit sandwich was ready to go in under a minute. The biscuit sandwich here is larger than McDonald's and it was a much better product. The biscuit had a nice crisp texture on the outside and soft inside. Thundering Herd was a very filling sandwich for breakfast and I only wish I would've ordered another one before I traveled out of West Virginia. read more

We got 4 country ham biscuits. I could barely choke down the few bites I did try! We were here 10 years ago and hubby wanted to go again. Quality sure took a nosedive! Biscuits were flat bland and dry. Reminded me of matzo! Ham was fatty, greasy and tasted like jerky. We left still hungry but I'll find a dog somewhere and give them the nasty attempt at food. read more

This place is good. But the staff isn't very nice. The place could be cleaner and its kinda too small, especially for the amount of business they have. The drive thru is awkward and kinda narrow too. The food is good but that's about it. I wont eat here again because I'm vegan but the biscuits are great. read more

This location used to have delicious, home made blueberry pancakes. This was one of the reasons I drove over 30 miles to get them. I was very disappointed in the change they made to their pancakes!! I went there on the 30th and was very disappointed. They replaced their home made pancakes with pancakes from a mix. I asked about it and they admitted that they would be serving these from now on. I will no longer go there because the pancakes were the reason I went there. Really crumby business decision to save a few pennies! read more
