How in the hell is this place still open? After a 20 minute wait at 8:45 in the morning (world's slowest drive-thru ever) to order two biscuits (1 Mickey and 1 Chicken) plus two iced teas, we FINALLY get to the window, pay and are given 1 drink. Remind the employee we order two drinks. She goes to make it and then says that they can only fill one of the sandwich orders because they are OUT OF BISCUITS. Says it'll be a 15 minute wait for the second sandwich. We ask her to refund the money for the second sandwich. She doesn't have the synaptic cells to do that so she gets a manager (another few minutes). Hubby explains we don't have time to wait and to refund for the sandwich. Idiot manager refunds everything and doesn't give us the one sandwich. Says that's "what we asked for". Then goes on to bitch about it taking "13 minutes to make a pan of biscuits...we are out""." Tried this for the first time as I just moved to the area. We were there during a rush but the wait wasn't too long. The staff were all friendly and the food was better than I expected. The bacon was crispy and I liked it considering I dont normally like bacon. The apples were delicious and the biscuits were fluffy. Ok. On the road again early in the morning in W. VA...normally I wouldn't stop due to ..well it's W. VA. and the friend I knew here moved for various reasons. That said, I ordered Loaded a Blackberry Biscuit,, Bacon Biscuit, Sausage Biscuit and an Apple Biscuit. The biscuits were large, looked fluffy but were not done. Bacon was partially cooked, sausage not flavorful and the fried apples overcooked and Blackberry Biscuit was uninspiring. I was disappointed. My suggestion: Don't go thru the drive thru. Order inside if you have the time. I think timing is crucial. I went inside and spoke with Assistant Manager Karen who informed me that they had a new cook who was not as attentive as they could have been. The Apple cinnamon caramel breakfast biscuit is a warm sweet and cinnamon spiced wonder. There is only a slight hint of caramel detected. But it totally works. This reminds me of a Apple dumpling with a biscuit for the crust. Good value for $4.99. Clean, quiet environment. This West Virginia staple is located inside a Go-Mart (gas station and convenience store) but please don't let that deter you from stopping by. There are over 18 different types of biscuit sandwiches in addition to breakfast, lunch and dinner entrees. I ordered a Mickey combo (comes with a hashbrown and drink of your choice) which contained Canadian bacon, egg and cheese in between two fluffy biscuits. The service was very friendly here! Predictably the specialty of the restaurant was biscuit-based sandwiches (go figure) yet some of the choices were less than appealing. The "Pepi", a pepperoni and some random indistinguishable yellow sauce biscuit, scared the bejeezus out of me. I stuck with the fried apple biscuit and while it was decent, it was nothing to write home about. (Though still enough to write Yelp about?) I really like Chicken Fried Steak, so I like trying it at different restaurants. This afternoon, I ordered chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes. The picture on the menu had the traditional country grave, the same gravy I receive when I order chicken fried steak. Well, I drove back to my hotel. No gravy for the steak. The mashed potatoes had maybe a teaspoon of gravy in top. The instant mashed potatoes and steak are too dry to eat. Try also have me a big biscuit, but, again, no gravy, and did not offer butter or include in the bag. No one wants to eat bland/dry food. Lazy workers for sure! read more

Well where do I start, I'm traveling north out of Charleston on interstate 79 I see a sign at the exit for Tudors my son-in-law Joe he's from West Virginia he speaks so highly of tutors biscuits so I just knew I had to get off and get him some. First off, I have been a loyal Tudor's customer since I got my driver's license, and I love the franchises in the Huntington region... However, I was thoroughly disappointed with the biscuits I received at this particular location. Any time you order a biscuit from Tudor's in the southern portion of the state, it is guaranteed to be cooked to perfection and smothered in that gooey golden cheese. When I moved to the Clarksburg area, I was very excited to see a restaurant that reminded me of home, that was until I bought a biscuit. The biscuit was cooked well, but the CHEESE was nowhere to be found (about 1 tsp. to the normal 3 tbls!) So, I assumed they were having a bad day and moved on. A couple of weeks later, I decided to give it another go. This time I PAID for (2X) extra cheese and once again received a tsp. of cheese. When I confronted the cashier about it, (an older lady) she actually fought with me over it! All I said was that every other Tudor's in the state did it a different way and I found my biscuit disappointing. So, I will now only eat Tudor's if I'm back home in the Huntington area since I have not had a pleasant experience in the northern part of the state. I know it sounds silly to get all worked up over cheese, but trust me, Tudor's cheese is legendary in the Huntington area, and I expect the franchise to live up to its own reputation. I just came from Tudors in Bridgeport WV. I ordered the big breakfast With a side of sausage to eat in ! I waited 25 minutes , meal was served in a to go box, I had ordered over medium eggs and got VERY well done EGGS! I had to go to counter again to ask for sausage which was placed in a french fry bag with bare hands, The bacon was cold, biscuit gravy was maybe 3 tablespoons woth in a styrofoam small container. I was chrged $9.62 for my meal! The ticket number was #167 IN! Itld the girl behind the counter to which she rplied I can do nothing, I am the tmporary night manager! Terrible Experience. I purchased a gift card there on Sunday October 18 2015 and gave it to a friend visiting from Chicago. She went to use it at the same location on Monday October 19 2015 and they told her their machine did not work and they could not accept the gift card. She tried using the gift card in Morgantown WV on October 21 2015 and they told her they would not accept it as well. So basically I bought a $20.00 gift card that is no good.
