On a cold snowy day when returning from a doctor's appointment what does a person do? Celebrate great news with the luck of Irish. Of course we went wishing with Fish and Chips. A Guinness or two and a flight of; Prickly Pear, Magners Cider, Blueberry Burst and Wynona Brown Ale were the beverages. Also the Prickly Pear Sour won out as the favorite pick of the flight! Try the fish tacos!! We have stopped her many times & are never disappointed! The fish tacos are so flavorful & service is always good! We tried the crab dip quesadilla for an appetizer and were underwhelmed by how small it was. Will definitely just get the crab dip next time, all in all great experience as always read more

We come here every week but after our last visit we will never go again. Ember the bartender ruined our visit. She needs training on how to engage with the paying guests. We waited awhile before being even acknowledged because she was carrying on with obvious friends. When Ember did finally approach her rude demeanor was obvious and continued to get worse. She even went to her friends she cared more about than guests to talk about us, rolling her eyes. I really couldn't believe how entitled she felt she could treat us. If she wasn't carrying on with her friends i would have just chalked her bad attitude up to her having a bad day/life. For the first time ever in my life we ended up leaving without eating or leaving a tip. We asked to speak to the manger and guess what? Yep. Don't laugh but it was her, she didnt care what we had to say. We went to a nearby establishment and shared our story with others and they agreed that they've experienced the same rude attitude from Ember. Despite the fish tacos being good we'll never go back. The tacos really just are a fish stick in a tortilla with slaw and sauce. Its only the sauce that makes them good but they are nothing that special. Id rather eat a ok taco and have great service then eat here again. read more

My friends dropped into town so we had lunch here at the Pub (as a local this is my favorite place to eat). When we entered they were enchanted ;) The menu and drinks took us a great deal of time to review and exclaim over! They decided on an Irish Reuben, Cobb Salad and I got the Jameson chicken breast. The waitress was friendly and help my friends decide! While we waited, a few Irish jigs came on and they embraced the atmosphere! The food arrived hot, aromatic and just plain delicious! Our server Ariana, was the best we've ever had anywhere! Such a beautiful person! We thoroughly enjoyed her personality and she made us feel like we were dining at home. She took excellent care of us and was just a delight! The food was also delicious. I got the Shepherd's pie and it was a warm bowl of comfort on a cold night. My daughter loved her fish tacos and my friend had a corned beef melt that looked amazing. Meaghers is one of our favorite places and last night proved why. Used to be a staple of Bridgeport. Great beer selection and awesome food. NO longer... owners moved to FL and management company took over. Menu has gone downhill... frozen vegetables doctored up, no longer make homemade chips but that are on the menu...$4 for bagged chips with some seasoning. Not the same and the food has fallen way off. The only reason for 2 stars is for the staff, they rock and are attentive. Go grab a beer but eat somewhere else. read more

The food was very very delicious. We went on St Patrick's Day and totally expected long waits but it wasn't long at all. I think we waited about 10 mins even though we were quoted an hour. We ordered the poutine, fish and chips, and corned beef cabbage. It was all amazing! Everyone around seemed to be having a good time and the drinks were good too. My sister and I stopped in after a day of shopping and were so glad we chose this place. The food was delicious, and of course you can't go to an Irish pub and not get an Irish coffee! She just looked at us and rudely answered that a game was already playing on CBS. We asked her to just change the channel to Fox and check. She essentially ignored us and went about her business. No worries....we went next door to Buffalo WW where they were very accommodating to the same request. I don't care how extensive their beer list is....there are too many restaurants to choose from that none can afford to be so rude. We'll never return. read more

We got our appetizer more than 60 minutes after ordering and asked for our dinners to go as we weren't sure how long it would take to get those. Came here awhile back on a trip back home. A great find with great food and ambiance. A little Irish pub out in the middle of no where. I got fish and chips which where great wife got corned beef and cabbage, beef was good and so was cabbage but it looks a lot like a hot slaw. Kids got a burger which is typical but good sized, Mac and cheese which was tasty and a kids shepherds pie which was great! And a delicious pepperoni roll to start with a must try. Although my friends and I stopped by on a slow Sunday evening, their food definitely got our attention! They have an awesome selection of beers, and their food menu matches that diversity as well. Things I liked: - mac and cheese was absolutely out of this world! Rich, creamy, pasta was not soggy, some crunchy bits on top. They definitely nailed this classic. - NY steak cooked perfectly at a medium rare. - lamp and veggie (black bean) burgers looked delicious, and my friends pretty much inhaled it. Things I didn't like: - ran out of ice cream so we couldn't do their beer floats - chips that came with our meals seemed to have come from the bottom of the barrel - little bits that were crushed and full of salt.
