Walked in and said 5 tables of 4 will work. They pushed 13 tables of 2 in the rear of the restaurant in a tight space with one server. Server did well. Avocado toast was surprisingly good.

where to begin... none of the food came out as ordered. 2 of the 7 orders had to be sent back due to it being cold. none looked like the pictures. my 6 year old daughters was dropped on the floor. the waitress questioned our complaints as if they were ivalid concerns. they shorted us menus, cutlery, and drinks. But we got 3 piles of pancakes we didnt order. the wait was ridiculousand there were only 6 tables with people in the whole place...

Not the best one around. I've eaten at plenty of these establishments and this one is the shit heel of the county.

This location is big about ignoring you. Twice I have walked out after a no service and waited over 20 minutes for it. Not again!

The host told us the wait would be about 30 to 40 minutes, but there happened to be two open seats at the bar, so we agreed to sit there instead. The restaurant is not very large inside, so I can understand why there was a wait. We sat at the end of the bar. The seats weren't originally side by side but they moved one chair so we could sit together and it worked out fine. The sign says they're a coal fired pizzeria, and their menu definitely reflects that. They offer a lot more than your standard pepperoni or sausage pizza. There were several artisan options and honestly it was hard to choose. For an appetizer we ordered the Chips & Gorgonzola. My friend asked what Gorgonzola was, and although I knew it was cheese, I completely forgot how similar it is to blue cheese, which she doesn't usually like. This ended up being a pleasant surprise because the Gorgonzola aioli had more of a tart bite than typical blue cheese, and she actually enjoyed it. When it came to the pizza, I knew I wanted something different from the usual topping combinations. I narrowed it down to three: Il Fico (the fig pizza), the Bacon, Grape & Gorgonzola. I asked the bartender what he recommended, and he suggested the Bacon, Grape & Gorgonzola. I mentioned I was torn between that and the fig pizza. He hadn't tried the fig one, so he couldn't compare, but he said he really liked the bacon and grape. I didn't even think about the fact that I'd already had Gorgonzola in my appetizer, but I went with it anyway. I have to say, it was an interesting combination in a good way. The Gorgonzola balanced out the sweetness of the grapes, and the pizza was cooked well with good flavor. It's probably not something I'd order every visit, but I'm glad I tried it once. My friend ordered the chicken parmesan and seemed happy with hers too. For dessert, we ordered the petit fours sampler. They came as little cakes set on cupcake wrappers with a raspberry glaze drizzled across the plate. Beautiful presentation. The cakes were soft and moist but incredibly sweet. We ended up dragging them through the raspberry glaze to add some tartness, which helped a lot. Without the glaze, I think they would have been too sweet to finish. Overall, we had a really good experience. The bartender was friendly, attentive, and genuinely tried to make sure we enjoyed our meal. I would definitely stop by again the next time I'm in town.

He also had solid dinner recommendations and was super nice and welcoming to our family (including 2 kids under 5). Job well done. Of course, great service means nothing if the food doesn't back it up, and thankfully it did. I really enjoyed my steak pasta; my wife enjoyed her soup, and the kids ate their chicken tenders (for what that's worth). My 5 year old didn't love her kids mac & cheese (was penne pasta) but I did enough to eat half there and bring the rest home as leftovers. Awesome dinner. Thank you again Daniel!

Everything was cooked perfect and was very flavorful. It was more like being in a fine dining establishment than a conference center. It seems they must have a hired chef on site which was a great idea considering they could have just went with regular buffet style food. But it was disappointing. Our reservation was for 12:45 but we didn't get seated until after 1:00. Stood in hallway which was full of other waiting patrons AND those already seated because they had to go to other rooms across the hall to get their food. Not a happy solution. After seating there were no instructions as to procedures. We waited a few minutes then were told to wait for waitress to take drink orders before going across hall to get food. Waited several more minutes. Waitress was VERY busy so we went to get food and she got our drinks later (and dutifully refilled glasses when asked.) Many of the platters of various cold foods were empty. Others were messy and uninviting. I suppose everything advertised on menu was (or had been) there, although I never saw even a suggestion of avocado. We opted out of waffles, omelets and breakfast - too bustling. The hot foods were pretty readily available. The beef carvery was well attended and the beef was cooked well. The southern fried chicken was pretty good except the bread coating was quite crusty - almost like a hard shell. The shrimp was tasteless and the pork marsala was not very good either. The scalloped potatoes were delicious and possibly the second best thing they served. Desserts were attractive, fairly tasty and the layered chocolate cake was the star of the show! A jazz quartet played intermittently throughout - nice touch. We had to ask and wait for our check and the waitress did not tell us she would take care of it at table - so I wandered the hallway searching for a checkout register. The price of $24 was the same as the North Bend State Park charges for their holiday brunches. North Bend is not nearly as confusing and boisterous AND the food is better tasting. I do not expect to choose Bridgeport over North Bend again.
