Note: if your car is AWD or 4WD a flatbed is highly recommended. I was fortunate to be able to coast into a small/empty parking lot and position my vehicle for the tow. I've had a few tows in my life and they always seem to happen during rush hour or terrible weather so the wait times have always been around 2 hours. This time the tow truck arrived in under 30 minutes - a welcome miracle as I had (of course) just stopped for groceries on the way home. The Towson truck was clean, newer, and the operator's name was Andrey - one of the family members of the business/owner. Andrey called when he was en route (which was less than 10 minutes away) and confirmed location of my vehicle (turns out dispatch had GPS'd my vehicle nearly 2 miles off from where I was!). Andrey arrived as forecasted, introduced himself, confirmed name/vehicle, and we got busy orienting the tow truck and my broken down SUV. Andrey was professional throughout. His appearance was clean-cut and conversation well-mannered the entire time, including the right amount of empathy for this crappy situation. Within 5 minutes my SUV was firmly anchored on the flat bed. Andrey was familiar with the dealership I wanted it towed to, including where the vehicle drop-off and key dropbox were (just in case the lot was already locked/closed). That was unexpectedly reassuring so I opted to Uber home from the tow site rather than all the way from the dealership. We called the dealership about 25 min later and they confirmed having just received our SUV into their service lot. All in all, beginning-to-end, this was easily the best all-around towing experience I've ever had.
