This company could very well be great, but if you are under a home warranty please request a…read moredifferent company. They do 1.5 million dollars with First American Home warranty, which owner proudly stated. Their highest regard is serving the home warranty company and not the customer. We have a mechanical breakdown of our AC handler. We have no AC. The entire coil inside and outside is completely iced over. Tech stated he would return in 2 weeks after previously stating that the coil had a leak to check and stated it works, and it was. I linger frozen. He stated the home warranty company would not replace the unit, which we know is a lie since we have been a customer for 13 years. Then he took back the comment that the coil had a leak, blamed the blower and then said there is no diagnosis. He does not have the technical skills to diagnose an AC outage nor is he willing to state on insurance paperwork a replacement. Replacement should be stated due to age of system and coil leak. We had another contractor come to our house before the home warranty contractor and he stated the unit has a coil leak and needs to be replaced. York Mechanical was fired on the spot due to unwillingness to diagnose our AC outage. They also leaked excess freon into our yard. Tech said "I have to take what you say with a grain of salt," which is stating that I am lying about our AC outage. Can you even imagine being told this by a tech with your AC broken? He told us we turn our AC down too low at night and that is why it is frozen over. If you go with this company to do work with your AC out, they have a 2 week lead time at least. Under warranty while waiting for parts you will have no ac up to a possible 6 weeks. I do not recommend this company unless you want to have someone who does not want to truly help you and is more worried about pumping more business into his business via home warranty calls.

My entire experience with Duraclean was professional and friendly. They called to let me know they were on their way. They arrived on time. I was given an estimate on the phone when I made the appointment, but the actual price turned out to be slightly less. I was very pleased and plan to call them in the spring to clean my upholstered furniture.

They have no clue how to install HVAC systems. They tried to install the air handling system in my…read morehome and when I had my local inspector inspect the work Tapper and Sons did, he asked me if this was their first install because they did it totally wrong. They used toxic cancer causing glue inside the air supply side that specifically states "NOT FOR INDOOR USE" because I found the tubes in my garbage. When I walked in on them when they installed it, they were all high from the fumes and the owner had actually fell on the floor he told me. When I called to tell them they needed to rip it all out because the township inspector failed the install, Rob told me he has been doing it that way for 25 years. (I said, doing it WRONG for 25 years and making people sick). I am sure his employees will lose as many brain cells as Rob has and in my opinion, they should go to OSHA. I paid them 75 percent up front to install, but once I told him he failed inspection, he would not return my calls, not from any of his phone lines or his own cell, office phone, emails, texts. Total FRAUD . So I am out $15,000 and had to hire a real HVAC company. I actually did the air handling system and vents myself because I got screwed out of all that money and did not have enough. The work I did passed inspection and was told by the township inspector and the new reputable HVAC company that installed the heater unit that my work was 100 times better than what Crapper and Sons did. Stay away from this company, they are clueless, unreliable and criminals in my opinion. Got a lawyer friend of mine to look into it and he said I have a solid case against them, but would cost about the same in lawyer fees and would take a year or more. So Rob know how to play the system and that is about it. He got his money and his new motorcycle as I saw in his social media from what I paid him and that is all he cares about. Total loser.

And, more importantly, very little information concerning chimney condition and integrity of interior lining. Received proposal to Replace chimney Crown, Flashing, power wash and seal bricks. Estimated at a little over $4,000. The Technician that came to my home was polite and professional. I did watch as they worked -- cleaning fireplace, did not see them inspect interior of Chimney. Technician also showed me random photos from internet of Chimney stack (above roof) tops to explain issues with "crown" but did not show me pictures of my chimney. Then he went to truck and returned with tablet (ipad?) to have me sign and pay inspection bill. Said I would receive inspection report and a proposal for recommended work via e-mail. Did receive them. No contemplating recommendation -- proposed work.

I agreed to the repair in August and was told I would be given a quote and the work would be completed . The work was still not complete by October and I was then contacted by Anderson's that they needed me to pay for parts up front. Again they were supposed to get back to me in August. I paid their advance bill in October only because I prompted the discussion and waited. On November 7th they came to repair the wood stove but broke the stove door's plate glass and took it to the shop for repair. They promised to return November 14th to install the repaired door. No one showed. When I called the office they blamed the technician. I then talked to the technician. He told me the replacement glass arrived broken and that it would have to be reordered. He said the admin staff should have called to inform me of the new delay. Then I talked to the office manager who said they would have to follow-up with ordering more glass since they hadn't yet done that! In summary, a job that was promised to be completed in August 2024 is still not complete as of November 16, 2024 and the company took my money up front. Mr Anderson, you really need to train your staff concerning ownership of issues! Potential customers, steer clear of this company!
