That says a lot since she lives out of restaurants. Besides being delicious, the salad was chopped into manageable bite-sized pieces, a feature she particularly liked. I ordered the Tuna Melt, and it was outstanding. It was tuna salad, red onion, dill havarti cheese, and capers on grilled rye bread served warm. Whoa! It was so good, I thanked the cooks. I rarely hold timing against a restaurant as having worked in food, I know lunch rush exists and things happen. To mitigate this (for those in the area) I believe they have an online ordering system, which I would recommend utilizing! Secondly, they do not have indoor seating, so it is a very grab and go type establishment. This is counteracted by the multitude of benches around Royal Oak, though it would be nice to have some amount of seating, especially for those with accessibility needs and those waiting on their food.
