It sounds funny but I loved seeing my regular peeps there when I ran my usual errand to fill the tank. Well, that has changed. I got surly service the last time I filled up (just last week - August 2026). This was in stark contrast to the many years I've been coming to this station when they had always been great (again, until really recently) about providing service along with self service. Apparently this is no longer the case. Dang. And super rude about it. They just lost a consistent customer who filled up *with premium* multiple times per month. Maybe there is a new owner, because the previous one didn't seem like they would do such a terrible job managing the place.

They fixed the exhaust and a told me they did a diagnostic and found what was wrong and claimed to fix it, but they had said if the check engine light came back on to bring it back in. We paid for 3 hours of work, but it was done in a hour. The $766.19 included a $225 diagnostic fee. The light came back on, so I took it back in like they said and was told that it would be another $225 to run a diagnostic. I told them I already paid for that last week and they said they fixed the problem. They talked to me like I was stupid and belittled me in front of another customer. I left and went to O'really auto parts and had them run a free diagnostic and the code was the same as they claimed to fix last week and tried to charge me another $225 for. I used to recommend Meineke, but now I caution anybody thinking about getting work done through them. I am disabled and can't do the work myself and my parents are the same, so shame on them for taking advantage of people. Don't go here and don't trust that fixed your vehicles issue because they more than likely cleared the code so you have to keep coming back.

I was visiting Portland recently to get away from the massive California fires and smoke. I drove through some gnarly conditions to get into Oregon and my car ended up having many issues that needed my attention. I went in for a start-up issue but was amazed at the thorough diagnosis of my vehicle that Green Drop gave, with pictures, video, notes and up-keep text reviews. I had recently bought a used Dodge Caravan and had determined it was a lemon prior to my Cali evac, but the guys at Green Drop really took care of my car. The staff and Mechanics were very friendly, were on top of the issue and the turn around for my car was relatively quick. It turned out my car needed a lot of TLC but I wouldn't have known this had I not gone to Green Drop. I had already replaced the transmission in my car and the other two mechanic shops I had taken it to prior to Green Drop never mentioned other issues even though they expressed that they looked over my car. This was huge for me. Green Drop obviously does the work! They have the skillset, the technology and the man power to get things done and it shows. At the time I ended up at Green Drop, I couldn't afford all the repairs, but the work that was done was thorough and well done. I would go back and I would recommend this place to anyone in that area needing car care. One last note is that, Harvie, one of the mechanics/technicians, helped me understand my cars mechanics for the ride back to Cali. He was a true lifesaver for this vehicle!! My brother who i bought it from was apalled when i told him after it was done. This was just a couple hundred miles before my warranty expired, so I knew I needed to get it looked at immediately. I found Sun Auto Service through my CarMax warranty as a preferred vendor. The reviews were solid, so I chose them. The main person I worked with was Cody, and he was excellent. As a woman, it can be difficult to find an auto shop where you do not feel talked down to or pressured into unnecessary repairs. That was not my experience here at all. Cody was transparent and straightforward. He clearly explained what needed attention now versus what could wait a few months. No pressure, no condescension. They had my car for about two weeks, which I understand is normal given how many variables can cause starting issues like that. I explained that my warranty was about to expire and asked them to be thorough. They absolutely were. They identified nearly $3,000 worth of repairs, all of which were covered under warranty. They handled the entire claims process. I never had to contact the warranty company once. I simply paid my deductible and was on my way. Everything felt professional, organized, and above board. It has been about two weeks since I picked up my car and it is running perfectly. I would absolutely return if I ever needed service again. Highly recommend Sun Auto, and especially Cody.
