We went here for the first time today after not liking a different place in Mankato last month. TT Nails & Spa were awesome. The water was warm, their demeanor charming, and their service was impeccable. They scrubbed the terrible calluses on my heels, trimmed my nails, and messaged my feet. Overall they gave me an excellent pedicure and I'm the guy in the family! My wife loved them too! Of course, they painted her toes (she was delighted with their services as well). If I could give this place zero stars, I would. My friend and I went in by appointment to get an acrylic fill. Left two and a half hours later.... Charging over 60 dollars for an acrylic fill compared to other salons in the area is outrageous. Granted, I did ask for chrome on top of the color, and they charged me extra money and I left with NO CHROME on my nails . Moral of the story, much better places to get your nails done. These bad reviews have to be wrong. I called and made an appointment and came in they were very welcoming. Got a pedicure, the water was perfectly warm. She took my shoes off/ put my pants up. Was very gentle and nice to me when I was ticklish. She gave me a 5% discount and a card for next time. The other employees were also very sweet. One of them gave me 4 tickets to our local circus show. And a discount on the lotion. If they're being mean to you, you must be being mean to them. 10/10 will always come here! read more

Went in there for a pedicure for two, they said pick your color will be right with you. We waited for a half an hour, and service was less than desirable. My friend had the woman doing her pedicure on the phone the entire time, so basically she got a one-handed pedicure and also the lady ripped her toenail off and SPRAYED alcohol in it. It is two weeks later and still raw and bleeding. Do not go here!!!!! UGH! read more

First, I have to say that my pedicure with Henry was 5 star. He is awesome and I recommend him for a terrific pedicure. Now, the rest of the staff is another story. I found them not friendly, they don't speak English much or well, and they are not very organized. I called days in advance asking for a pedicure appointment with Henry. I specifically used his name during my phone call at least 5-6 times saying I want him only. I get to the appointment after driving 55 miles from my home and they are fumbling around. After a wonderful pedicure with Henry, the manager chides me at the end for not making a specific appointment with him. I did, maybe I should have recorded the call!!! I found her incredibly unprofessional and maybe a little jealous because I tip Henry 25%. He does that good of a job. It was just sad she had to almost spoil my visit. I had the worst experience and I wish I could say otherwise because that nail salon was my favorite for a long time but yesterday I left in tears and still paid for my nails because I felt like maybe I was just being sensitive because I'm 5 months pregnant. My nail tech was an older lady and her name was My. She automatically gave me bad vibes. She didn't ask me to pick a color, she looked irritated when I asked her if she could do valentines day themed nails so I asked her to just do red and one accent nail. She kept pulling my arms and pushing them and being over all aggressive with my fingers and my hands. I tried relaxing them so she could move them however she needed and it wasn't enough. She was clearly getting frustrated because she kept huffing and puffing. I really don't know what she wanted me to do. The final straw was when she used the file tool on my nails and cut into my cuticle. I wanted to storm out but my daughter was actually enjoying her spa pedicure and I didn't want to ruin it for her so I stayed and had an anxiety attack. I was very visibly crying and she still kept pulling on my fingers and telling me to relax and watch the TV. I told her I was trying to! She just laughed. I normally tip $10-$20 to whoever does my nails because I usually get designs but when she asked if I picked a color I said no I don't need anything. I paid $50 for my nails and $40 for my daughter's pedicure. I really shouldn't have even paid because the service was TERRIBLE and I cried about it for a couple hours. I went there to have a relaxing experience with my daughter and although I'm glad my daughter's nail tech was phenomenal, My sucked! She shouldn't be working with people if she is going to take her anger out on them. Mind you, we were the first clients so it's not like she had a long day and was tired by the time we got there. The People are very nice. However, they don't know how to do any designs so do not bother showing them pictures of the nails you want. They also do not understand when you ask for multiple colors. Ask for each nail to be a different color and they ended up painting them all the same. I would not recommend going here. read more

Horrible experience! The guy doing my pedicure dropped the F bomb like 5 times while going on a rant about how he hated certain people. Very unprofessional and will never go back! That same guy when finished with the pedicure just walked away and didn't say a word - no one said a word to us just sat up front talking. read more

I came here yesterday for acrylics to try a new salon. The service was good and i got in right away with a walk-in. However, my nails took over an hour for some reason. I was ok with it because she was taking her time, but they did not end up looking all that well. Most of my nails look great, but my thumbs look bad. I just feel like i overpaid for very average looking nails. read more

Had my fiancé look for a place so her and our daughter can do they're nails.. it's our oldest birthday weekend...this was the only place that was able to thankfully... but all though she loved her nails and our daughters nails... our daughters nail has chipped and they weren't very nice people.. the lady who did my fiancé nails told her one price and changed her mind to charge ten dollars extra because my fiancé didn't want gel.... then some one else came and lady told her to go to this other lady... the lady gave my fiancé such a bad anxiety attack that she was crying and wanted to leave even though her nail messed up... the lady had been digging her own nail into my fiancé fingers!! Not only that but her nail polish got messed up a little before and the lady got aggressive, she started huffing and raising her voice at her... my fiancé was happy but when this happen she regretted coming... just a honest review for others... read more

I feel bad leaving a bad review but I feel that others need to know what to expect here. I was excited to come in since they had such great reviews, but I am still disappointed in this place. The first thing is, this place is DIRTY. The walls are dirty, and there are literally old nails on the floor. When I sat down the lady started picking up old acrylic nails that were left from the previous client and just tossed them behind her on the floor and I even noticed that there were old nails (basically, garbage that should have been swept up or just thrown in a garbage can to begin with) near my feet at the station. She did not wash her hands after touching those other nails. She was eating and went straight from eating (handheld food, not with utensils) and touching those old nails, to working on my nails without even washing her hands.The workspace for doing manicures is dusty and grimy along with the bottles of products, and the tools they use do not look like they have been cleaned between clients. The cuticle cutter that the lady used on me had just been sitting on the dirty counter before she started using it on me. They left dead skin and some nail polish around my nails. The massage was about 10 seconds on each arm so not relaxing. Two positive things were that my pedicure was good and the people seem nice. Like I said, I feel bad leaving a bad review but this place is very unsanitary and dirty, and it felt unprofessional. read more
