I'm really disappointed with my experience here. The cleanliness was a big concern -- I did not see the tools or nail files being changed or sanitized between me and my friend, which is honestly not okay. On top of that, the prices were way too high for the quality of work we received. It felt like we paid premium prices for rushed, "chop shop" quality nails. I would not recommend this place if you care about hygiene and getting what you pay for. read more

I have been going to TQ for years. Just 2 weeks ago I had a lady at the far end who was very gentle do my mani/pedi gel. Which is appreciated, but she didn't push my cuticles back/painted over them, and on top of that already did a very choppy paint job. Very spotty and rushed. Tips were choppy and spots left unpainted and polish on skin. Some nails were cut very crooked. Left a $15 tip before I got out to my car to get to really examine them. One gel polish nail actually peeled off 2 days later. Called them back and were very kind to get me in that night no charge considering I had a 2 hour drive back to them. Me thinking they were going to take them all off and redo, they just buffed them and re-painted over them. The lady which I'm assuming was the owner was very kind to me and wanted me to continue coming back, but the drive and low quality end result, I would rather spend my money elsewhere from now on. My gel nails ended up peeling off a few days later So that whole trip back was absolutely a waste of time. read more

I went and booked a appointment for 4:30. The service started off great but as it went on everyone there started screaming and getting into a fight leaving me uncomfortable. I had asked for chrome nails and barely got chrome. On the website it had said $35 for a full set this is the only reason I booked here, and I was charged $68 ABSOLUTELY INSANE. I was also very forced into a tip with her asking me if i wanted to leave her a tip. her and everyone's vibe was off in there. I am extremely frustrated with this service. read more

Been there many times, service has gone down hill. The lady at table 7 is so rough and rude..I told her today im never coming back..And I always leave a good tip, but she didn't receive a tip today..I will take my business else where..It's to bad because the owner is a sweetheart, but some of her workers are horrible and to much in a hurry! read more

I only gave them three stars because I didn't stand up for myself and give them the chance to fix the problem. However, for $50 there shouldn't have been any problems to fix. This was my first time getting a full set done here and I only went because my friend wanted to go. When we went in, there was no one getting a manicure but they still sat us both on opposite sides of the salon. The lady who did my nails seemed to be rushing so she could help another customer who was getting a pedicure at the time. I left with several cuts on my fingers from over filing. My nails were all bumpy and not a consistent shape. Half of them weren't even the same length. read more

Pd. $84 for a basic (non-gel) mani & their least expensive pedi option, which would've been ok IF: the technician didn't burn my calf w/ a hot stone (it actually left a mark that I showed the owner/mgr.) and continued to use her cuticle removal tool after dropping it on a visibly dirty floor. I will not return here & will not recommend them. read more

I went in to get a full set and when I tell you this is the absolute worst service I have ever received I'm not lying. My lady was extremely rude along with being rough when she would be adjusting my hand. It felt like she was tending to other people more than the person she was actually working on. Then at one point she stuck her hand in someones footbath and then went to grab my hand without washing hers first. First, that is highly un sanitary and gross. Who wants someones footbath all over your hands. Then nearning the end of the appointment she asked if I would be paying with cash or card. I said card and she was not impressed with me and pressured me to pay with cash. Overall I would never return somewhere that has terrible customer service and still be greedy. Terrible place and if I could give a negative star I would. (I inserted a photo of my nails below and the fact I paid for them is very disappointing.) read more

The service is pretty good for not knowing English, the quality is okay for how they had it done. If you want it to be fast over the quality this is for you. But I felt "raped" because they charged a lot more for what you ask and they didn't even let me know what I was getting instead they made up their own price. read more

I went in with my wedding party. We had an appointment for 5:30 and we ended up having to sit and wait because even tho we had an appointment they were not ready for us. The bride ended up getting her nails done last out of the group. Many of the girls got their fingers cut and the application of polish was horrible. This used to be my favorite place to go but in the last few months it's went down hill. I'll be taking my business elsewhere after this last experience. read more

Worst nail spa I have been in my life. They don't clean/cut cuticles, paint half of the nail so they don't get to clean the sides. Horrible. I am not a nail professional but I do better at home. 120.00 for me and my 7yo daughter. Expensive and terrible. read more

I don't even want to give them one star, my nails were absolutely atrocious, Tina did them horrible the first time, went back for a second time and the same thing happened. I asked for a refund and they said that they weren't able to do give me my money or even a portion of it back. Absolutely horrible. Would never go back. 0/10. read more

Got a full set acrylics, got charged double then what was said on the website. My nails ended up bumpy, crooked, uneven, poorly colored, scratched and full of fuzzies from my techs sweater. My friends nails were just as bad but with paint smeared on the nails. We went back in to express concern and apologized for not speaking up. My tech threw a gel cure at me onto the table. Filled my nails sideways and laughed as she did it. Threw on some polish and said it was fixed. Both my friend's and I were worse then before. We asked for a refund and they said they would try again, with unsanitary stations and rude staff we declined. They agreed to take off the nails for a refund. My friend got to keep hers and have a refund. My tech yelled at me that, I was the only one who sees wrong in these nails, and what was wrong with me. She pulled over the customer next to me to prove she was right in my nails being just fine. As she yelled at me she cut down my nails and filed. While filing off my nails I got a few cuts, when I was cut she would laugh. She refused to give me a full refund at the end. read more

I made appts online for a Manicure for my husband and a pedicure for me. appts were easy to make and confirmed via text. It was my husband's first manicure and the woman was fun and funny and professional - his nails looked great. I had one of the best Gel Pedicures I've ever had... stone massage, nails look great. they were very sweet and professional. I would definitely recommend! read more

2 STARS! This was an interesting experience to say the least. First off when picking out my nail color, a girl dropped a bottle of nail polish on the ground and it still wasn't cleaned up after me and my friend left. After we were seated we had to wait for at least 30 minutes before the actual pedicure started. As for the outcome of the pedicure, my friend had a lot of polish on her skin and the device wasn't consistent. This is because My friend and I asked for the same pedicure service but we didn't get the same options. I got asked if I wanted a design and these weird rubber flip flops, but my friend didn't get any of these things. There service was very unorganized and it seemed unsanitary. My recommendation would be to find somewhere else unless you're desperate. read more

Service was great! My boyfriend and I walked in and requested women do our pedis as guys tend to prefer a woman lol. They were extremely accommodating and the premium spa pedi was fabulous! Tony did a fab job on my nails ! Fast and perfect!

Horrible salon! My gel fake nails were painted so bad. The paint was uneven, bumpy, and I had drop lines and chip marks on them. I will NEVER go back and don't recommend this salon to anyone!! read more

Friendly people. They do nails nicely. But Tony needs to soften up on holding people's hands so tight and scraping the cuticles with the drill. He needs to be more gentle. read more

This place was HORRIBLE to go to! I will never go here again! Me and a friend went and I got started before her (both getting pedicures). I started 10 minutes before my friend, and she finished 15 minutes before me. The lady working on me was talking to her friend next to her about their periods to start off the pedicure. Then she saw scar tissue on my foot and yelled "eww what is that?!" If I had been insecure at all, I would have been so mad, but I laughed at her. She's never seen scar tissue before? Then in the middle of painting my toes, her CELL PHONE rang, and she proceeded to answer it. She sat and had a conversation with the person while she was trying to paint my toe nails. She was so rude, so unprofessional, and yet she was so quick to check what kind of tip I gave her when I signed my credit card slip. Never again will I go here!!!! read more

In August 2017 my grandma and mom went to get their nails done at TQ nails in mankato. Very friendly and nice right when I walked in and as I was leaving, however nail tech was really rough with my nails. I left feeling like my toes were rubbed raw/cut/butchered and I know they were because I felt the alcohol burn my cuticles. My massage seat squeaked, the foot massage was blasé and I just didn't leave feeling overwhelmed. Price was good and I was glad they were open until 8pm so I could get my service in before my trip! read more

I will never return to this place. I upgraded to more expensive pedicure with gel nails. I walked out of there with no salt rub, no hot towel and no filing of my feet at all. 2 of us had what we call the RUSH job. Obviously they were in a hurry. I walked out of there with pain in my big toe. They had cut it so short and left a hang nail that caused a ton of pain. I was not happy at all. They weren't budging on price when I complained and said we didn't get 1/2 of the services listed with the upgrade. They just kept yelling the amount we owed over and over. It was over the top unprofessional. We did end up talking to the manager and he said it was a language barrier and that they don't understand much English. Yeah...that is their issue. Not mine. I will be going somewhere else for sure and encouraging others to do the same. read more
