** PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT: PLEASE READ ** If you're looking to get your nails done, **DO NOT go to TTC Nails at 715 Cady Dr, Fort Washington, MD 20744.** Yesterday, while getting a pedicure, the older man in the back offered my son a piece of cake. He then called him back over, touched his private area, and said, "Big, big..." He spoke in his own language, and the other employees--who were his family--started laughing. I was in shock. I froze for a second. I was near the end of my pedicure, right before the polish. The technician asked me what color I wanted, and I told her I didn't want any--I just wanted to get up. I immediately asked my son if the man touched his private area. He said yes. I grabbed my son's hand and walked over to the man to explain that what he did was wrong. "Now he's acting as if he doesn't understand enlish", so I tried to explain to his wife instead. She just casually said, "Okay." I stayed to let my daughter finish her nails, since she was already halfway through. While sitting with my son, another employee--his daughter--laughed and said, "Oh, my father scared you. I'm sorry." I told her, "No. Your father touched my son inappropriately. That's not okay." She replied, "It's okay. He's from Vietnam." I explained that regardless of where he's from, what he did is unacceptable. Someone else might not have reacted as calmly. When it came time to pay, she told me the full price. I told her I would only pay for half of my pedicure because I didn't complete the service. She claimed it was because I didn't want polish. I corrected her: I didn't get polish because **your father touched my child** and I had to stop the service. She continued to brush it off, saying, "He's old. His mind isn't good." I told her that if his mental state is that bad, he shouldn't be around children--or people at all--if he's a safety risk. Again, her response was casual: just an "I'm sorry" with no sense of urgency or concern. I paid for part of the services, left, and called the police to file a report. **Please protect your children and stay away from this place. Service was provided in February 8, 2025 $60. I needed a pedicure and manicure. My feet looked like those of a wildebeest. I opted for the premium spa treatment for my feet and a basic manicure. As, I surveyed the place, it looked old and dingy. My intuition was telling me to leave, however, I decided to stay at the urging of the attendant that I would be next and she would take good of me. There was another gentleman in the chair and the attendant seemed to be doing a great job on his feet. So I stayed, when I settled in the chair and placed my feet in the soaking tub. She approached me with her cutlery utensils. They were not sterilized and they have been used on previous clients. I informed that I needed a set of sanitized cutlery tools from their autoclave or ultrasonic cleaner. She explained to me that they sanitize their tools in the morning. I insisted that she provide a sterilized set of tools before we proceed. She went to the autoclave and could only produce a single sterilized tool that she used to work on my hands and feet. While she was searching for tool, I noticed the foot bowl next to me was filthy. I truly hoped that she cleaned my bowl before we started. I don't know. She filled the wash bowl before I was seated. Typically, i am used to the attendant cleaning the bowl in front of me and placing a protective insert in the bowl. Also they bring out a freshly sterilized tool set from the autoclave. The attendant did a good job with a single cutlery tool and she was very pleasant. However, the hygiene failures are a major RED FLAG. If I could give this place zero stars I would. This place is so dirty and dingy. I could barely sit in the chair while my nails were getting done without a chill going down my spine. Toenails on the floor, dirt, leaves, paint on the walls and the floor. They leave the polish just sitting on the ground. Creepy crawlers (roach, waterbug, beetle or whatever it was is still unacceptable) Oh and whenever a nail isn't fully covered and I tell them they get an attitude and act like it's my fault. Like I'm not the one painting my nails Today I went in for black nail polish something easy. Not even five hours later the polish is literally peeling off fingernails. Like??? I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. Spent almost $100 just for me to remove the polish less than 5 hours later. Unacceptable. Next time I will be going to Alexandria or Arlington where I know my money will be well spent. read more

If I could give this place a zero star review I totally would. I left with beat up nails, poor confidence and tears running down my face. Their teenage daughter did my nails and was literally stabbing my cuticles with the clippers. My calluses are shaved down to the point that it hurts to workout, and the next side of my left foots big toenail is getting infected. I wouldn't reccomend this place to my worst enemy! read more

I decided to give this place a go after reading the previous reviews on Yelp and boy were they right. Let me start off by saying this place is located in a strip mall right next to Martini's bar and grill. It is very no frills inside. Kinda like the greasy spoon of nail salons nowadays. Either way, I was greeted and served right away. The technician, Laurie was very friendly. I think she was rushing a little bit because one of her "regulars" came in while she was working on my pedicure. However, she still did a great job. I didn't like that she tried to use the callus remover; I told her that I didn't want her to use it. She didn't, but I could tell it was an issue because all the other technicians looked at me when she said something in Vietnamese. Oh well, I didn't care, she still did a very good job! And the price was right too! She was fast and very efficient and I am completely satisfied. Even got my eyebrows done as well! I will definitely be going back in the future! I really use to love Tony & Carrie shop.... I would come ever 2 weeks... Then the place has a smell and no heat and no air so I stop coming. Then a friend of mine said they got better and the smell was gone, still no air (don't know about heat yet) so I came back!!! I was a bit skeptical upon entering the salon. Although not on the small side, it's definitely not your upscale nail place. Their color selection was also very limited. With that said, I'd still come back again. The technicians were very nice, attentive, and apologetic when a previous client ran them a bit behind schedule. My pedicure was done very fast but was also very neat. Bonus? They give you a frequent customer card. For every visit, they give your card a stamp. After every 12, you receive a complimentary manicure or 12 bucks off of your bill. Quite appealing, right? read more

Carrie is great with eyebrows she knows great restraint and leaves even the thinnest eyebrows looking thick... So I come back for just that ! But I no longer get my nails done at this salon. I came for a pedicure with my friend and both of us got the same regular pedicure but yet, I got no foot rub, no massage on my lower legs and my toes were painted and shaped incorrectly. read more

Depending on when you go (friday and weekends especially) there is a wait, but people like them so much that they're willing to wait. Very friendly and attentive. They also know me and my family. Hung (Cary) vaxes my eyebrows and now I will only go to her for them. She also does the individual lashes which i tried for a few weeks.... sooo many complements. Most of the time my nails are amazing and last long, but i went recently and got cut once. No biggie though, I would still go back. For nail designs I usually ask Hung (Cary) and give her artist freedom, but if you want a LEGIT amazing design, that's usually done by her husband. read more

Yes Yes YES!! This place is precisely what I'd been on a search for in the area. Friendly, engaging staff that puts customers first. Massage chairs. Clean. Small and tucked away, quiet atmosphere. Fair prices. But best of all, excellent workmanship. It took me some time, a good amount of money, and some so-so experiences at other nearby nail shops to find this place. I can deal with an establishment being a lil ghetto or maybe a lil overpriced, but at the end of the day above everything else I'm looking for quality work! When I say quality, I'm talking about things like length of manicure/pedicure, methods/tools used, ability to paint, ability to design, when does it start chipping, etc. And I've only visited Tracy's once, BUT during that visit the quality of my manicure/pedicure spoke volumes. They had one woman doing my manicure and another woman doing my pedicure simultaneously. The woman painting my nails did an immaculate job. Her ability to paint nails was on point. I keep my nails pretty short but that wasn't a problem for her. The woman doing my pedicure wasn't as friendly but she did an excellent job as well for both my mother and I. I got an OPI polish and kept my mani/pedi without any chipping for a whole 2 weeks for the nails and the toes still look excellent well into week 3. On top of that, it only cost like $28 dollars. It turned out to be an incredible bang for the buck and I'd gladly go back again and again. If I have any complaints at all, and honestly this is stretching it, but I didn't like my waxing (they made my eyebrows a lil thin for my taste) and the limited color selection. Which neither one of those things were a dealbreaker for me. I am probably going to switch to threading anyway. And I can bring my own polish. So yeah. Bottomline is come here. My pedicure was great, she did an excellent job making sure my heels were silky smooth, however, the place is sorta low budget. They used a nail clipper to shave my heels which was a little painful (whatever happened to the scraper), the soap I used to wash my hands was so watered down that it didn''t even get soapy, they have only a handful of colors, and they are slow as molasses gosh LOL I'm used to being in and out but I was there for nearly 2 1/2-3hrs just getting a mani, and pedi. read more

This place needs a licensing board visit. They have a person doing nails who doesn't know what the hell she's doing. I'd bet my next paycheck that she isn't licensed. On top of that, they're filthy in there. You'll never see them sterilize tools between customers. And they had the nerve to put a used, wet bag on my foot. When I objected, I was told, "it's not dirty." The thing was on someone else's foot. You mean to tell me I can't get a fresh plastic produce bag that was probably stolen from a grocery store?? Geesh. Go here at your own risk. You may leave with something other than a mani/pedi. Oh, and check out how they maintain their eyebrow/eyelash station and products. Gross.
