Where do I begin.... Tsang's was my families favorite restaurant for over 20 when it was at the Norton ma location. When I found out there was one in Hanover, I had to take the hour drive to see if the food was as good and tasted the same as it did and let me tell you it sure did. It unlocked a core memory from my childhood I was so happy... I'm still happy! Huge portions. The service is still extremely good. The waitress was extremely kind and attentive. Food is still made really quick! This location was so nice inside very fancy more upscale. I really enjoyed the entire experience. Great to see an old friend at the bar as well! Needless to say tsang's will Always get 5 stars. Thank you so much to the Tsang's crew for a great night see you soon!

Sushi Boat for 1

Trying to eat healthy and I found myself at a Chinese Restaurant for lunch. Why?? Because the sushi is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! This was my second visit to Tsangs the first was a sit down dinner with my wife a few months ago and we loved the sushi, Tsangs Fried Rice, Crab Rangoons and Chicken Wings. This time I just got a Sushi Boat for 1 as a take out order. It's spacious and very well kept inside. Our dinner was in a Friday night and it was PACKED, but service was decent and food came out quick. Today I only interacted with the woman at the front desk and she was very pleasant with a smile and some small talk. YES, I will be back.

To survive government overreach, Tsang's has become a take out operation.

The best sushi and best hot and sour soup. It's so clean here and the staff is great. Try them out! We get sushi 4-5 times a week here!

Rude waiter, who was never available, mixed with mediocre food. There was also plastic in my water.

Maybe they have good sushi but the other food is bland and just bad. How can you mess up hot and sour soup? Ask them!

When I got home with these take outs, 30 min ride away, I opened my takeout boxes to have lunch. The two fried rice plates were spoiled, Not "not too fresh" or "a bit stale".. They had that outright spoiled smell, like when you leave food out un-refrigerated for about 3 days. I had to put these in the trash. Then I smelled the shrimp lobster sauce, which were packaged separately from the spoiled rice and didn't smell spoiled.. I had fresh white rice at home, so I added the lobster sauce to make my own lunch plate. Then I put the lobster sauce into my mouth and my head was filled with question marks.. The lobster sauce was SWEET! I've had lobster sauce from 2 or 3 hundred Chinese takeout places. Some are more salty than others, some have a black bean taste; it varies. But this is the first time when I've had lobster sauce where the dominant taste was sweetness. That's not what I wanted. It's like having coffee but instead of sweet someone added salt. Or having spaghetti but with maple syrup. It tasted weird, and unpleasant. I had to throw this out too. So, out of 5 dishes, 3 were spoiled, 1 was weirdly and inappropriately sweet, and the last one, according to my son who ate it, said it "wasn't very good". I write many reviews, and read them too. When I see a one star review citing horrible customer service or whatever, I mostly attribute those to the owners of nearby rival restaurants, trying to kill the business of a competitor. Here I am giving a one star review for the first time. If you feel skeptical, please feel free to read some of my other restaurant reviews. I tend to be very detailed and descriptive, and I call it like it is. I have no interest in artificially boosting or hurting a restaurant's ratings. I am just a guy wo eats out a lot and like to share my personal experience and opinions. So, for this time, my advice is to stay away from this very bad restaurant.

Sunday evenings you would think aren't usually busy, but this past Sunday was crowded but luckily there were open seats at the bar. We love sitting at the bar. It's like a front row seat to all the action! They also have a great wine list. I ordered a glass from Burgundy and my husband had a beer. We skipped the starters and went straight to the entrees. I had their Roasted Cod which I did enjoy but lacked a bit of flavor. Although the sauce that came with it was superb! My husband had their Burger which looked nice and juicy. Oh and they have the best fries too. I couldn't help myself in grabbing just one. If you have not yet been to Alba on 53 then I highly recommend you add this as your next date night spot! Cheers~

This was our first time back to GG in a couple of years - yikes! And not gonna lie, it was…read moredisappointing. We had takeout, which was packed carefully and packaged as neatly as ever - the hot items in one bag, the cold items in another bag -to make it home in a reasonable time. Where things went wrong: Chicken Teriyaki skewers had zero teriyaki glaze and instead were coated - WELL COATED - in a non-removeable green curry covering. There was absolutely no connection between these skewers and teriyaki. None of us cares for curry, so that was trashed since the cat sat back and said "absolutely not!" Pad Thai with the Chicken and Shrimp option had two (2) medium shrimp, so I guess that counts as multiple shrimp . . . the chicken was dry but at least it was plain, no curry. However, unlike the well coated curried skewers, there was virtually no Pad Thai sauce. The sauce that makes the bland rice noodles come to life was MIA. After much discussion and pulling the stuck together noodles apart, we did think that a very scant spoonful of sauce had been added to the very center of the container, making it a bit more Pad Thai-ish than the bare noodles in the other 2/3 of the takeout container. Pulled out the chicken bits and those two shrimp and trashed the rice noodles because I didn't even have a store-bought packet of Pad Thai sauce on hand to zhush it up! On the cold side, the go-to order of sushi Chirashi was good, fortunately because we were down two dishes out of three! Note to self: live and learn, keep to the Japanese side of the menu, and stop expecting a restaurant to do more than one style of cooking well, it never happens the way you hope it will!

It was really great. I am a white woman raised by white parents. In the 80s my dad went rogue into taekwondo for a black belt and immersed himself fully in the culture. He began making Szechuan food. I've eaten a lot of Chinese and Asian food and i don't usually go for it because there's so much bad and greasy. I prefer Japanese, usually, but when my dad started cooking Szechuan, we tried a wide variety of very authentic restaurants in Boston Chinatown, I know what I'm eating. This one hits the mark. We tried three things for range and shared. A beautiful rare black pepper and sesame seared tuna over salad, with super fresh fish, the level of pepper was on point. It was great. We had the pu pu platter for one which was a ton of food and delicious. The spare ribs were tender, the marinade on the chicken wings was so nice and the crab Rangoon were little fatties and fully stuffed with the perfect blend of crab and cream. We had the crazy chow fun (foon) with beef but without the spiciness so it was regular beef chow fun. Again the meat was tender and the wide noodles had the right amount of sauce. I had a scorpion bowl, it hit. I've seen some ugly reviews on here and honestly think two of the people whose last names start with S worked together on bashing this place, not cool Brian and Jen. Take out food will always be compromised by packing it, steam and travel. Don't judge food like that. This is the place for a fun first date, get a scorpion bowl for two. Get lit and share the Pu Pu platter to start. Check your compatibility on the old school Chinese zodiac placemat, love this. The ambiance is sultry red and dimly lit. People were definitely enjoying themselves. Gave me all the feels and memories of dark lounges, dens of iniquity, red lamps of my twenties. Ahhh...miss that time. I'm a hard sell. Gourmet garden is really good, and you should go. This is something I have should have enjoyed many times over by now.

Let's start with the oysters, at $24 for half a dozen the actual oyster size was the size of a quarter (at best) very disappointing. I asked our waitress where the oyster came from and she said Duxbury and I asked what farm and she didn't know. You would think management would educate their wait staff. The fried calamari would get a C+, (best part of meal), my wife and I each got the Fish N Chips... batter came out dark brown, it looks like they haven't changed their oil in the fry-o-later for a long time, which ruined the experience, the fish was just ok once you found it. My daughters $42 steak was ordered medium rare and came out medium well, it was sent back and when the replacement dish came out the remaining 5 of us were finishing our dinners and get this, the steak was still over cooked so they took it off our bill. My sons pappardelle and short rib was so so, and his girlfriends salmon was "just ok" With a $593 bill this was a very poor dining experience. This will be our last visit to Oro you may want to consider same. In hind sight we should have cooked at home and would have saved a lot of money!!!
