Pete was very willing to provide references as well he should be. After talking with Pete, I did not bother checking the offered references. I was very confident that the rental would be a great experience and indeed it was. Pete and Mark are committed to providing exceptional service. Pete met us at the Phoenix airport ( the flight was an hour late), walked us through the RV, gave a dozen farm fresh eggs from his open range chickens which were delicious. He had also bought coffee to get us started in the morning. Pete had offered to provision for us but we declined. The RV was clean, fueled and ready to go when we met Pete at the airport terminal. I should note that SWRVA is located in Prescott, AZ- about a 2 hr drive from the airport but Pete insisted on meeting us a the airport. Bedding, linens, dishes, pots and pans were provided at no additional cost as promised. The daily fee included unlimited generator hours and ample daily mileage. The Mercedes diesel easily handled the mountainous terrain in northern AZ and southern Utah while getting about 17 mpg. Upon our return, Pete and his partner, Mark, met us at the RV park and drove us to the airport shuttle terminal where they had reserved a prepaid shuttle to the airport. Pete and Mark could not have been more responsive and helpful in making our RV rental a memorable and enjoyable trip. Sally and I highly recommend them. I rated SWRVA 4 stars vs 5 stars only because the RV was a 2007 although it was in very good condition.

If we had received an itinerary for our tour we could have made sure we were on time for our helicopter tour. We never received an email confirmation for our booking. When we arrived at your office we asked Brad for an itinerary but he said he didn't have one. When we made our reservation Jasmin said she would email us a confirmation with all the details which we never received. Brad told us she spelled my name wrong on my email address which I find odd because she had to have spelled it correctly to put my credit card charge through. This debacle on your end ruined our once in a lifetime experience. This was total breakdown on your end just to save money. Our pilot Brandon went out of his way to try and make things right.     Stefano! Our pilot…read moreStefano was easy going and professional and engaging. He made the entire experience 1000% perfect, fascinating, lighthearted and amazing!! The facility is gorgeous, super clean, the restrooms were beautiful and clean! They were very orginized. It did become so windy that one model of their helicopters as grounded. So there was some jostling around and reorganizing, but really, we were ALL so fortunate to be able to fly over the Grand Canyon!!! - who should complain!?!? Safety first! You go outside, buckle you in, and they seat you. You get a specific seat dependent on weight. P.S. no one knows your weight except flight crew and that's to balance the helicopter. Again, safety first! There is just no way to put into words the feeling, the exhilaration, the view, and the memories that you walk away with from something like this. Is it inexpensive? Absolutely not! But is worth every single penny??!? Absolutely! And it is something you'll remember for the rest of your life. Ask for Stefano! He's a wonderful pilot. We recommend this experience 1000%! However, we did put some thought into going in the middle of the day so we did not have the sun either from the sunrise or the sunset shining into the helicopter ( and our faces) and I think that was a good decision so we scheduled for 12 o'clock We also took the longer trip, and again, we have no regrets! One bad apple : After we left exhilarated and on cloud nine - so happy, a young lady called us from Pappillon to tell us that she was going to bill us for the 2 front seats (upcharge.) We HAD asked for front seats, but we got bumped. Yet she insisted that we sat in the front seat. My friend explained to her that no, we didn't, and encouraged her to verify that, but SHE insisted, and then she hung up on us! They have everything on camera, the ground crew seats you, and she could see the answer on video! My friend called back and talked to a manager, and he said he would take care of it. But we'll have to watch the bill because as confident as we were of Stefano's flying skills, we do not hold the same confidence in their billing and administrative process. Especially because that young woman chose to hang up on us versus resolve the issue. What did she think we were going to do? Just allow her to up charge us because her screen wasn't clear or wrong? So we will have to watch that closely. And perhaps she will get some much needed customer service training.
