There was no judgement with Valley Organizing and they came in with compassion and empathy and worked hard to get me my living space back! For 2 days they worked non-stop and always made sure I was comfortable and situated and feeling okay. Any time I needed a break they gave it to me but they still worked in the background. They handled all of my belongings with care and even helped me locate specific items when I needed them (ex: a missing key). The movers brought their own supplies despite being told to use mine (which were the same), and I did not authorize or request any additional materials--yet I was charged for them. About two hours into the job, they stated they were out of boxes, even though I still had boxes available. When I said it was okay for them to stop and leave at that time, they refused, stating there was a four-hour minimum, which directly contradicts the one-hour minimum listed on Thumbtack at the time of booking. In addition, Rosemarie provided information to me directly that later turned out to be untrue, which further added to the lack of transparency around the service and billing. Despite the job lasting under two hours, I was charged $747 for four hours, none of which was disclosed or agreed upon in advance. After raising these concerns, the company refused to offer any refund or adjustment. Based on the lack of transparency, misrepresentation of terms, refusal to stop at the requested time, and unwillingness to resolve the issue, I cannot recommend this company. PS...They boxed a cell phone in a box with knives and screws who packs like this!

While the employees greeted us when we walked in the store, the loss prevention person following us around every corner the entire time we were there, 35 minutes or so. This was not welcoming. Because of this, I didn't buy anything and probably won't be back despite some of the cool stuff. Side note, none of us were carrying purses, bags, or back packs. My autistic son did have his small fanny pack with his cell phone and drum sticks. I understand theft is an issue for many businesses, however nothing we did was suspicious creating the need to be followed the whole time. We finally left empty handed, no pun intended and took to the mall to waste more time.
