After meeting with several contractors, I decided to hire TRX Builders for my home in Redwood City, they had been referred by a neighbor. Danny and Debra had the best value quote, not the highest or the lowest but what really gained my confidence was that the crew came out to confirm that a wall I wanted removed was not a load bearing wall, before making the proposal. My project was executed in record time we upgraded the electrical power to enable the induction range was a challenge. Initially, before the project began, Danny and Debra explained to me various ways this could be done and what the codes required. The team had to redo the wiring in several places, which required opening the ceilings in the laundry room and hallways. It was a lot of work but came in on budget and the impacted areas were left looking new! I used TRX Builders to remodel two bathrooms in October 2023. I am very pleased with the work they did. In the upstairs bathroom I changed the tub to a walk in shower and changed the single sink to a double sink. Along the way, Debra had suggestions of what he thought would work and I am glad I went along with it because my bathroom turned out beautiful. I found Danny on yelp and invited him to bid on our 2 bathroom remodel project. He was honest and communicative from the start. We had multiple bids and he was the only one supporting permitting the project. He broke everything down cost wise and gave us a timeframe. Many projects we have done in the past seemed to drag on but not with Danny. His team led by Debra is amazing. They are all very friendly and understand that a remodel can be stressful for the home owners. They do their best to put you at ease and answer any questions. We knew we had plumbing issues and when they found the issue they brought a bigger crew and worked long on Saturday to get it done. Very good experience overall regarding a modest kitchen and two bedroom remodel in Calabasas. The project involved a complete overhaul of two bedrooms and maybe 50% remodel of kitchen; flooring, windows, closets, paint, electrical, plumbing.
