Ron was very professional, prompt and detailed in my request for an initial estimate for my bathroom remodel. I am dealing with a unique situation here where I don't have possession of my new property yet (due to sellers taking some extra time to move out), but even without the ability to do a physical on-site inspection, Ron went through the available pictures and 3D video walkthrough of the property, asked tailed questions and got back to me with a competitive estimate, all within just a few hours of first contacting me. Extremely impressed by his communication skills and obvious experience with remodels. 10/24/2024 Update: I ended up hiring Ron after collecting several quotes from different contractors. Ron's rates were amongst the best for licensed general contractors. He was handling 4-5 projects at the time my project started, but he made sure to connect me with a dedicated sub-contractor, Roberto, who oversaw the entire project from start to finish. In particular, I would like to mention that Ron was very willing to work with me to earn my business, and ultimately worked with me to help get a low, 3% APR long term financing (12 yrs), without which I would simply not have the funds to finish the project. Our project did run into some roadblocks, primarily with some minor corrections required by the city inspectors, which pushed the project end date a few times. However, Ron stayed in communication throughout the process, resolved issues as it came up with the city, and eventually finished the project to my satisfaction. I am extremely pleased with the complete excellent quality 2 bathroom remodel done by Ryan & his team at Olympia Construction. I had had about 10 contractors come to my house for bids on the project. Ryan was the only contractor that noticed the squeaking floor in 1 bathroom that went unnoticed by me & other contractors. He told me "your floor needs to be fixed." I immediately liked that he had picked up on this detail that no one else had [even me the owner of the house]! His bid for my project was fair & reasonable, paperwork for the contract was very detailed and he was always honest with me, pleasant and approachable. A couple of the bids from other contractors I had had were as high for 1 bathroom as the one Ryan gave me for 2 bathrooms. My project was completed within 16 days with 2 to 3 workers per day and within the time frame that I wanted - before Thanksgiving. His workers were polite, approachable with questions, did excellent quality work with attention to detail, arrived on time and cleaned up well. Ryan & I were able to negotiate on extra work done outside the original project and he was always available by phone or text. I spoke with the owner "Ryan" about a complete kitchen remodeling job that consisted of 2 Wall being removed. He scheduled a time and date to come give me an estimate. I had sent Ryan the plan's of what we wanted done. However, Ryan never bothered to show up for our scheduled appointment. I'm a Senior Citizen who has many things going on, but I set my schedule aside for this appointment that Ryan never bothered to come to. I would never hire or trust this guy now that he's done this. I feel that if you can't depend on somebody to show up for a scheduled appointment that they themselves made, then how could I trust him do do the job that I needed done "I Can't". The trust was broken...If I could give this guy a "0" review I would. Now he responded back saying that he refused to do the job I was thinking of hiring him for. He never refused to do the job, I told him over the phone that once he had broke my trust by not showing up for our appointment that he had schedule with me, I told him once he did this "That this a reflection on how he would work, and that I wouldn't hire him because of this". I noticed a couple other Ryan and his Company that verity's what I've tried t explain here, and he's came back with excuse's trying to cover Miss Behaviors. Now I'm happy I found these 2 Bad Review's On Ryan and His Company. This Told Me Everything. Now Ryan thinks that I am somebody else, and am going by 2 different names, and is threatening me with a lawsuit. If you are trying to decide about signing with this guy, let me save you time.. DONT Do it!! Using them was a nightmare. Idk who are the ppl giving him good reviews. They suck! Inexperienced, lazy,dirty, way off schedule. It took them a year to complete a small room addition. The roof framing had to be redone 3times. The windows had to be redone twice. The tile work took over 3 months to complete, and it was done wrong! There's pencil markings on the tiles and they sealed them!! The structural level was off by over 3 inches, uneven. The French doors were installed upside down. They lost the hardware. The pocket door does not slide properly. Everything was done very poorly and looked as if it was their very first time doing a job! They didn't have any tools or equipment they had to use our own tools and saws. We had to take over the project and finish it We did the final inspection with the city, we built the deck and painted, we basically wanted them out of our house after a year of misery. So... if that's something you want to experience then be my guest and give them your money. read more
