The repairman came with the new motherboard and said it was the wrong one. At that point I said I want a refund and discontinued their service. I received a text apologizing and told I would receive a partial refund for what I already paid within 5 business days. That was more than 5 weeks ago. I called about 2 weeks ago and was told they would issue the refund and would call me back to confirm. The call and refund never happened. I went to another appliance repairman and he fixed my refrigerator right away.

My washing machine smells like gear oil, tech said he…read morewas unable to access under the agitator (bolt on 2023 washer has already seized?) and that I was using too much detergent; he gave me an Affresh tablet and started the "clean" cycle. Said there was nothing to indicate an oil leak. Throughout the week, the washer still smells of gear oil, and on Saturday morning my husband turned the washing machine on its side, unscrewed a cover, and there is gear oil leaking out from the bottom. The agitator did not need to come off; nothing would be visible. Parts can only be accessed from the bottom of the machine. Sent photos and a text to Handler, and they thanked me for the update and said nothing else. Not sure why I paid for a service call/diagnostic fee to tell me nothing was wrong, when clearly something is very wrong. Part on order. App is easy to use, and tech was on time and extremely polite, however: Will absolutely not use this service again, or recommend.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY…read more One of the most unprofessional experiences I've ever had with a handyman service. I scheduled an appointment specifically to have a TV mounted with the wires concealed. I explained exactly what I needed ahead of time through Yelp Messenger, so there should have been absolutely no confusion about the scope of the job. The day of the appointment, they started texting me asking the same questions I had already answered--all of which were clearly visible in our Yelp conversation. Then they actually showed up without the equipment or materials needed to conceal the wires and told me they couldn't complete the job. So why show up in the first place? If you knew exactly what the job required before the appointment, there is no excuse for arriving completely unprepared to do it. This was a complete waste of my time and an incredibly frustrating experience from start to finish. If you're looking to have a TV professionally mounted and your wires concealed, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere. Based on my experience, I would never use Tony's Handyman again.
