Said there was nothing to indicate an oil leak. Throughout the week, the washer still smells of gear oil, and on Saturday morning my husband turned the washing machine on its side, unscrewed a cover, and there is gear oil leaking out from the bottom. The agitator did not need to come off; nothing would be visible. Parts can only be accessed from the bottom of the machine. Sent photos and a text to Handler, and they thanked me for the update and said nothing else. Not sure why I paid for a service call/diagnostic fee to tell me nothing was wrong, when clearly something is very wrong. Part on order. App is easy to use, and tech was on time and extremely polite, however: Will absolutely not use this service again, or recommend.

Scam artist and do not know what he is doing …read more.. My Heating System went offline and i put a request on Thumbtack. I was contacted by Anas and he mentioned he had 7 yrs of experience. I read reviews and most recent was disappointing. Since no one else contacted me and txt me saying he can come in urgently. I hired him for the job. He did some diagnostics for 30 mins and quoted $450 to repair. Didnt mention what exactly was the problem. I denied that i cannot pay this amount as i he didnt explain the issue. He finally quoted to $300 and promissed that until issue is fixed he will not go and will make sure all is working. Since it is heating issue in Winter, i had no choice but to agree. He spent 2-3 hours, got the Furnace to turn ON and said all he good. I checked and it was working and blowing air, I didnt check it was not blowing HOT Air. (my mistake) I paid him, he left. The system was running whole night but it was not heating and thus i contacted him back. Its been 48 hours, he hasnt returned and now asking money to come. ================================================================= Yes. have been texting him for last 2 days. He is not responding to calls and keep telling me he fixed the issue and it is not HVAC issue. He says it is thermostat issue.. which makes me belive he is not experienced and a scammer. While working on the job, he was contantly on phone with some other technician and talking in different langauge.

Mind you, the dishwasher itself is $600. BUT WAIT THIS ISN'T EVEN THE WORST PART. I decide to just get the drain pump and do the repair myself. SURPRISE the problem wasn't that! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY…read more One of the most unprofessional experiences I've ever had with a handyman service. I scheduled an appointment specifically to have a TV mounted with the wires concealed. I explained exactly what I needed ahead of time through Yelp Messenger, so there should have been absolutely no confusion about the scope of the job. The day of the appointment, they started texting me asking the same questions I had already answered--all of which were clearly visible in our Yelp conversation. Then they actually showed up without the equipment or materials needed to conceal the wires and told me they couldn't complete the job. So why show up in the first place? If you knew exactly what the job required before the appointment, there is no excuse for arriving completely unprepared to do it. This was a complete waste of my time and an incredibly frustrating experience from start to finish. If you're looking to have a TV professionally mounted and your wires concealed, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere. Based on my experience, I would never use Tony's Handyman again.
