Most of the jobs were for full PPF + ceramic coating of new vehicles, but they've also performed a couple of non-PPF paint correction, detailing, and ceramic coating work on well-used vehicles not eligible for PPF. In all cases, California Detailing produced fantastic results that made the new cars look better than they were at dealer delivery and the well-used vehicles look as close to new as possible. For vehicles that we've subsequently sold, California Detailing's attentive work helped protect their resale value. Even when we don't have big jobs pending, we drop by their shop a few times a year for installation inspections and touch-ups (no charge during PPF or ceramic coating warranty period). In addition to being skilled professionals, California Detailing also have great customer service that easily makes my family and me feel at home during our visits. Excellent and lasting results, great people, convenient location, and timely scheduling. We'll see them again soon!

I had never had my car detailed before because it never seemed like a necessity, but was prepping for family to visit and it hit me that the car looked pretty beat up inside and out. Not gonna lie - it felt expensive - but they did an amazing job. They were up front and explained exactly what they were going to do. They did need to see the car before confirming a final quote. They did the full internal and external job and went through every nook and cranny until it shined. I dropped the car off at 9am and picked up a little after 5pm. While I was tempted by the convenience of mobile detailers, i ultimately chose the fixed location and don't regret it.

Kevin Ramos was my tech and he came right to my house, which already made me feel a little more like myself. No waiting in line, no awkward car wash tunnel, no judgment from other vehicles. Just me, in my own garage, getting the full spa treatment. And let me tell you, I needed it. My outside was crazy dirty. I looked like I had survived a dust storm, a road trip, a pollen attack and possibly a small archaeological dig. My inside wasn't much better. Dust had settled in places dust had no business settling and I was starting to feel less "Diva Mobile" and more "washed-up diva waiting for her comeback tour." Then Kevin got to work. By the time he was done, I was shining like I was headed to a red carpet event instead of the grocery store. He was professional, thorough, friendly and clearly takes pride in his work. Every inch of me got attention and left me feeling refreshed, polished and ready to make other cars at stoplights feel insecure. If your car needs some love, ask for Kevin Ramos. Had LLumar ceramic film installed on all of my brand-new car's windows in June. I let the film cure for a couple of weeks. Time passes, and on my back left window, I noticed a tiny bubble around what appeared to be lint trapped between the glass and the film. Thinking this would be covered under warranty as an installation flaw, I brought it back to Grizzly. The installer removed the film and located the "defect." It wasn't lint, but rather a deep scratch. The installer then claimed the scratch was already there when I brought the car in, said he "forgot" to tell me about it after the initial install, and claimed it must have come like that from the factory. He told me to take the car back to the dealership to get the glass replaced under warranty--and added that if I didn't get it replaced, / would have to pay them labor costs to reinstall the tint on that window. I brought the car back to the dealership. The master technician inspected it and confirmed the deep scratch was caused by a third party using a razor blade. The installer scratched my brand-new window during prep, didn't own up to his mistake, purposefully hid it from me, and then tried to charge me extra labor when I brought it to his attention. Unbelievable dishonesty. I will never step foot in this shop again.

Lim was professional, friendly, and genuinely the epitome of excellent customer service. He clearly takes tremendous pride in his work, and it shows in both the quality of the results and the way he treats his customers. It's rare to find someone who is both highly skilled and so committed to doing the job right. If you're looking for someone you can trust with your vehicle, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Lim.

When I first reached out to Detailed by Precision, it was because I wanted to do something…read moremeaningful for myself for my birthday. I wasn't just looking for a basic clean: I wanted a deep, intentional transformation of my car. Inside and out. Its been YEARS. I had contacted a few different places, but Lim immediately stood out. The way he communicated, his responsiveness (thougutful, caring, considerate), was really meaningful. Even though his portfolio mostly features higher-end luxury vehicles, he didn't make me feel out of place. If anything, he understood what I was trying to do and genuinely wanted to meet me there! The booking process was easy. He walked me through what to expect, and we started sharing photos back and forth. He even pointed out things like chipped paint and small areas of rust that he could help improve--things I hadn't fully considered. And I didn't know could be accomplished (thought I had to go to other shops, etc). Before I even met him in person, I already felt a sense of trust. When I dropped off my car, he did a full walkthrough and pointed out details I didn't initially notice. His quote felt fair, and more importantly, it felt honest. Throughout the process, he kept me updated with progress photos, which I honestly loved! I felt like I was part of the process: getting little previews of something I was really excited about. By the time pickup day came around, I already knew it was going to be special. But seeing it in person was something else. He walked me through everything they did--inside and out. Some areas needed extra care, and he clearly put in that effort. The inside reminded me like when I first got my car. The ceramic coating added that final layer of protection. And he even took the time to recommend other places if I wanted to continue restoring certain parts of the car. All of his recommendations have been stellar, kind, and Im proud to say I was recommended by Lim. What really stood out to me is that he treated my car with the same level of respect and attention as the high-end vehicles he usually works on. He even mentioned that it reminded him of when he first started--when someone is truly invested in transformation. And that's exactly what this experience felt like! Driving my car afterward didn't just feel like driving a clean car--it felt like a reset. It felt empowering. Like stepping into something new. That's exactly what I needed. Lim is not only incredibly skilled at what he does, he's also just a genuinely good human being. You can tell this is someone who cares deeply about his craft and about people. I honestly wish I could give more than five stars. His work speaks for itself! Attaching photos of how shiny, like mirror/glass, the ceramic coating and shine my car has! Took a day to travel around to quite a few shops and inspect their current work. It wasn't even close. Got a frozen grey that I wrapped with the Xpel stealth satin. If you own a Tesla or any high-end car and care about quality, this is absolutely the place to go. Joe, the owner, is always welcoming and clearly pours his passion into the business. You can tell immediately how much he values his team. He treats his staff like family, and it shows in their work. Everyone there genuinely enjoys what they do, and they really do live up to the "OCD" name when it comes to attention to detail. I learned the hard way that not all highly rated Yelp shops deliver real quality. After going to another popular place, a friend pointed out several issues in the work that I had completely missed. Never again! I would much rather pay for top-tier service and have peace of mind than worry about fixing problems later. Most recently, I had a front PPF and tint done on my Tesla, and the results were flawless. OCD Detailing is one of the few places capable of tinting the entire Tesla roof using a single piece, with no seams, and it looks incredible. They were also kind enough to help install hub caps I purchased separately and recommended a great source for blacked-out emblems. My car turned out beautiful. The only downside is that I live in San Francisco, so the drive is a bit out of the way, but it was absolutely worth it. I recommend OCD Detailing to all my friends whenever they're looking for high-quality PPF or tinting. If you care about your car, this is where you take it.

We had ADS install a PPF wrap and ceramic coat on our brand newly built Porsche last year. Unfortunately, the workmanship has not held up. Multiple areas of the film are being lifted, separating and peeling. Edges were poorly trimmed, sections underneath are coming apart and there are exposed areas where the wrap was not properly applied. These issues weren't something we were nitpicking because they were actually pointed out. ADS did attempt to address some areas on the second visit, but when you are paying thousands for a professional PPF installation, the expectation is that it is done correctly the FIRST time. Having to return to fix basic installation problems should not be the standard. For a premium vehicle, this level of workmanship is unacceptable. When the latest issues were brought up ADS refused to stand by their work. So with other reputable shops available, I urge those looking to skip this one especially if you have a luxury or high end sports car. We ultimately found another shop that corrected the issues properly and stands behind their work.

It was a messy, complex job. Not many people in the Bay will take on a job like this so we really appreciate Paul doing so! I drove the car home today and it's truly as good as new. HIGHLIGHTS In addition to the work we agreed on-which they did well-Paul also threw in a bit extra, doing a bit of bonus body work. He clearly cares and takes great pride in his work. NOTES This kind of work is labor-intensive and it required a lot of investigation-which means it was also quite expensive. We had a bit of sticker-shock in the end. I recommend asking periodically what the total will be because it snuck up on us. (Paul communicates a ton-by text and phone-but more about the details-so you might need to ask him to bring it back up to the big picture, and to get it summarized in a work order with an estimated cost that you can track.) And definitely get insurance looped in from Day One! That said, Paul's also working closely with us to get insurance to reimburse most of the cost. I'll update this review again when the insurance case is closed, and can hopefully add that the cost to us after insurance *wasn't* an arm and a leg (Fingers crossed!)
