Most of the jobs were for full PPF + ceramic coating of new vehicles, but they've also performed a couple of non-PPF paint correction, detailing, and ceramic coating work on well-used vehicles not eligible for PPF. In all cases, California Detailing produced fantastic results that made the new cars look better than they were at dealer delivery and the well-used vehicles look as close to new as possible. For vehicles that we've subsequently sold, California Detailing's attentive work helped protect their resale value. Even when we don't have big jobs pending, we drop by their shop a few times a year for installation inspections and touch-ups (no charge during PPF or ceramic coating warranty period). In addition to being skilled professionals, California Detailing also have great customer service that easily makes my family and me feel at home during our visits. Had LLumar ceramic film installed on all of my brand-new car's windows in June. I let the film cure for a couple of weeks. Time passes, and on my back left window, I noticed a tiny bubble around what appeared to be lint trapped between the glass and the film. Thinking this would be covered under warranty as an installation flaw, I brought it back to Grizzly. The installer removed the film and located the "defect." It wasn't lint, but rather a deep scratch. The installer then claimed the scratch was already there when I brought the car in, said he "forgot" to tell me about it after the initial install, and claimed it must have come like that from the factory. He told me to take the car back to the dealership to get the glass replaced under warranty--and added that if I didn't get it replaced, / would have to pay them labor costs to reinstall the tint on that window. I brought the car back to the dealership. The master technician inspected it and confirmed the deep scratch was caused by a third party using a razor blade. The installer scratched my brand-new window during prep, didn't own up to his mistake, purposefully hid it from me, and then tried to charge me extra labor when I brought it to his attention. Unbelievable dishonesty. I will never step foot in this shop again.

I was getting very reluctant to move forward. Thankfully, I ended up chatting with my cousin who is very knowledgable about cars and got all his own and his siblings' cars tinted here and it looked very well done so I had to reach out. William's prices and offerings are extremely competitive and unbeatable. You really cannot beat the pricing he has for almost all the windows in a model 3 for 99% heat rejection and uv blocking for $700. He is also quick to respond to all your questions and is very friendly. Customer service is top tier. He dropped me off at a nearby location to get some work done as well!! They cleaned the car very well on top of it and my car practically feels brand new from their work.

Took a day to travel around to quite a few shops and inspect their current work. It wasn't even close. Got a frozen grey that I wrapped with the Xpel stealth satin. The wrap job is best in the Bay, everything is so tucked, no one believes it's wrapped. I have to open the doors to show them. The finish is incredible. The staff are top notch professionals. Seamlessly functioning, capable and knowledgeable. Joe, the owner, is really good at describing exactly how things will turn out. OCD Detailing is one of the few places capable of tinting the entire Tesla roof using a single piece, with no seams, and it looks incredible. NOTES This kind of work is labor-intensive and it required a lot of investigation-which means it was also quite expensive. We had a bit of sticker-shock in the end. I recommend asking periodically what the total will be because it snuck up on us. (Paul communicates a ton-by text and phone-but more about the details-so you might need to ask him to bring it back up to the big picture, and to get it summarized in a work order with an estimated cost that you can track.) And definitely get insurance looped in from Day One! That said, Paul's also working closely with us to get insurance to reimburse most of the cost. I'll update this review again when the insurance case is closed, and can hopefully add that the cost to us after insurance *wasn't* an arm and a leg (Fingers crossed!) But either way I'm confident that we're lucky to have had a team as caring and knowledgeable get our car back into livable condition.
