I went to Trust Auto looking for a new car for my son. I've never found car shopping to be enjoyable because of the typical high pressure sales tactics. David Neuberth really changed my mind. From the moment we walked in to test drive to a few days later when we got the keys to my son's Nissan Rogue, David was friendly (genuinely friendly not fake friendly) and didn't put any pressure on me. And when I told him we wanted to buy the Rogue, but would be back in a few days to get it, he didn't pressure me to buy on the spot, was very up front with the fees (they charged me the actual registration fees without jacked up dealer fees!) and he had the paperwork all ready to go when we came in to make the purchase. We were out in 20 minutes! David has truly redefined how I view car salesmen and set the bar for what I will expect in the future. Car was rusted out at the exhaust joint/flange. My mechanic said it would soon not pass inspection. Trust Auto never disclosed it, even when I asked if there was anything they wanted to disclose about the car. Sales said well that's under the car (claimed they didnt know about it.) Uh, that's an inspection point. Dealer acknowledged using a 3rd party inspection company. But never went above and beyond to correct issues. Esp when all their additional fees cover these inspection points. Negotiated over the phone, had to continually follow up on my end. If it was a one time issue, i would imagine they would work hard to correct it. Dealer did want to fix the joint only by welding only (vs replace whole pipe). Finally agreed to a $250 gift card. For us that completely covered the cost of the replacement pipe. Then the gift card NEVER arrived. Other issues with the car: battery died the 2nd day after purchase. the ebrake needed adjusted. speakers were shot. I have absolutely NO TRUST in trust auto. Do not recommend. read more

Mark Russo is deceitful and dishonest and his boss, Sandra, even when she was made aware of Mark's dishonestly did not care. Fully story is below. I have text correspondence to corroborate all claims but this site doesn't allow me to add this information. DO NOT do business with this company if you value honesty. Friday 6/17 contacted me asked about car and for addition info and photos. Asking prices was $13.9k. Advertisement noted that we were moving across country and therefore needed to sell the car. 6/17 - sent text with additional photos of car including inside, convertible top including, and specifically pointing out with photo and text crack in back plastic window. Sun 6/18 Mark offered $10k but I needed to follow up with a few interested retail purchases. Wed 6/22 confirmed and accepted offer of $10,000. I communicated that we were moving across the country in very early July. Mark communicated that their mechanic would come to see the vehicle on Sunday 6/26. Between 6/22 and 6/26 four retail buyers contacted me but I told them the car was sold Sun 6/25- mechanic arrives. After taking with the company he informed me that due to the crack in the back windshield (that I specifically noted a week earlier in a picture and called out in writing to Mark in a text) they would only offer $9k. He was clearly embarrassed by this and seemed to indicate that this type of problem is not uncommon and unfortunately he ends up being put in the middle. Sun 6/25- texted Mark in the evening about the bad position he put me in "a crappy spot, because I'm just about out of time with our move. Given the information you asked for, the photos and info I provided, and the deal we made based on that that info, I really hope you do the right thing here. I had subsequent inquiries on both cars that I told the people they were sold. Maybe that was just stupid on my part but I thought we had a deal." Mark's response that night: "Yes, we have it still, I'll try to figure out." Mon 6/26- In the morning Mark's "boss," Sandra, called to explain the situation, that Mark and informed her of the problem and based on the cracked windshield they could only offer $9k. This dealership does have some decent inventory, but every member of their staff could use some serious customer service training. They lie, over promise and under deliver. They drag their heels on simple tasks and then act as if they have done you a favor simply by doing what they are there for. My own salesman David P. Seems to think hanging up on his customer is a sound business decision which he then defends with lies. You could be just like me, and wish that not just hindsight was 20/20! They denied knowing anything about a second key, despite it being pictured in the online auction which they had conveniently removed. Took their sweet time locating it and mailing it. The vehicle had problems within 30 days and the extended warranty company they sell is complete garbage that no shop will work with. The showroom shine faded in days, so do yourself a favor and take any vehicle from them and give it a proper bath before purchase, because they only want it to look well polished enough for you to sign! Unfortunately, 4 months in to this disaster, I have had to hire an attorney and will have to go to court. again, if you haven't seen my nightmare. the day after I got the car. I took it back. it needed a transmission. over a month later. the transmission wasn't fixed. nearing 3 months total. the SECOND transmission was still not correct. then they did motor mounts. still not fixed. they also never called to tell me it was ready. my husband got a call at 8:41 on Friday night threatening to charge a storage fee for an abandoned vehicle. abandoned. no one called or anything. we have been harassed. lied to. ignored. bullied. everything you can imagine. all I can say is read the reviews. and please stay away from this dealer. hoping the courts can solve this absolute train wreck. read more

AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!!!! By far THE WORST dealership I've ever dealt with in 12 years of owning over 8 different cars. The jeep they sold me should never have passed a Maryland State Inspection which are the exact words from a Master Mechanic at Tate in Frederick Maryland. This dealership definitely does not stand by their cars and I would give them 0 stars if possible. I am in the military and they knew I would be driving out of state to be stationed in Florida the next day. The car had issues within 50 miles of leaving the lot which is when Tate did a full inspection and found multiple inspection failures that were obviously not recent issues and had been there awhile. I had the car inspected by one of Floridas biggest Jeep dealers and they said the same thing, and it came back with a $9,000 estimate (See Attached Photo) to get the car up to standards. When I called the dealer they were extremely unhelpful and offered $400 for my "troubles" as they said they could get everything fixed for cheaper by their service guy, except that same service guy who changed the air filter and wipers on the car couldn't even do that, as the air filter was installed incorrectly and both wiper blades flew off on the highway. This place is an absolute JOKE, please do yourself a favor and turn around and go anywhere else. I'll be waiting on my Better Business Bureau complaint in the meantime. read more

I am now a month out from my purchase and still waiting on my key, registration, and license plate. No one can provide an ETA or answer my questions regarding the status. I would certainly avoid working with this dealership in the future as they do not seem to have their business process figured out. Constant run around passing me from one person to another but no actual resolution. **Update** After posting this review a manager contacted me. She was able to mail the key out immediately. There are many places to buy a car. This should NOT be one of them! I drove 50 miles to look at a car. Very poor customer service. You wait at a window outside until someone comes. I understand it's COVID. I run restaurants and I hope to god that none of my customers feel like this. I had my daughter, never even offered water waiting outside. Took the car on a test drive. Came back. Asked a bunch of questions about the car. They didn't know anything about it! It was a Tesla Model X btw. I tried to negotiate. They only wanted to come down $500. I told them I'm ready to take it home. Wouldn't budge. Instead they said there are many qualified buyers coming this weekend and that it would sell. Tuesday comes and it's still for sale. I called them and asked why it hadn't sold. They had no words. I asked if they would come down. They said they would extend the $500. I told them to kick rocks. Come down $1000. They called me back and agreed. They said bring a cashiers checks. I came about 8 hours later. Paperwork was fast! 10 minutes. It was late so we just took delivery and drove hole. They didn't even charge it!!!! I thought we would have to tow it home. I had 4 miles till empty. The charger it comes with took 3 days to charge it. Also, the car was filthy!!! The next day, I noticed a lot of issues. Called the dealership. They said bring it back. I told them give me a couple days as the car needed to charge. I took it back. They could fix some stuff. They asked to to take it to Tesla 40 miles away to diagnose the issues and then bring it to them 59 miles the other way to fix it. Not to mention I have a small child! I asked why they don't inspect their cars. The GM said because they have so many they don't have time! I believe I got a good deal on this car, but you definitely get what you pay for!!!! Trust Auto initiated contact because of a sports car I had listed for sale. Upon their inspection, after finding nothing seriously wrong with the vehicle, they pointed out extremely minor things in order to lower their offer. One was a discoloration on the upholstery on the rear seat, which was rarely used. It wiped off with a wet rag. Because of comments I'd read before they changed their name (recently) and this experience, I decided not to deal with them. We traded in the car and the dealer immediately listed it as a certified pre-owned, with a warranty. Do your research. read more

I want to start by saying TRUST is the last name that comes to mind when I refer to this dealership. I bought a truck from them with a TV that didn't work. Replacement cost was 1500 from the Chevrolet dealer. I paid 185 for a diagnosis fee in which they didn't honor by just paying my local dealership directly. I didn't notice it until later on that day and reported it to them the following business day. I was told that they would fix it but I would have to cover half the cost of it. They went over the vehicle I traded in like a fine tooth comb so I'm doubtful that they didn't notice the non working TV in the vehicle I purchased. I had to file a dispute with the better business bureau to get them to do the right thing. Not to mention having to drive over 6 hours round trip to on top of having to wait 6 plus hours to take care of the issues that I was having with the TV and getting the vehicle rebuffed since it wasn't done correctly prior to purchasing. That's over 12 hours of my day down the drain. BUYERS BEWARE. I strongly suggest you going elsewhere to purchase. Our vehicle was purchased online from out of state; once they received our money, the problems began... First, prior to delivery we were given multiple assurances that everything was on target for us to receive our vehicle as scheduled. When it did not arrive we called, only to learn that they were completely unaware there was a problem. Once we informed them of the situation they stated they were unable to obtain 'real-time' shipping information when a vehicle delivery was late. Only with persistence and several phone calls were we able to learn a vague status for an in- transit time and location check-in, and from that a new delivery window. This situation caused much anxiety overnight and into the following day. Next, due to Trust Auto's obfuscation & misrepresentation of the truth, as well as their outright dispensation of misinformation, it is difficult to clearly articulate all that transpired during the nine weeks we waited for the title. Suffice it to say that we were threating to contact a lawyer when the situation was resolved by us when we directly contacted the Registry of Motor Vehicles and, subsequently, had the title in hand five days later. It may be of interest to know that when we involved ourselves and spoke with the RMV clerk, all communication from Trust Auto stopped. Finally, not until after everything settled down did we remember that we had requested a Carfax. It was promised, but never received. Our advice is... If you still want to business with these people make sure you get all the documentation you need or want before finalizing the deal and giving them all your money. read more

From the start they were AWESOME! I worked with ALEX, during the c19 crises and they were brilliant with allowing us to test drive and they answered ALL our questions and did everything we asked, EXCEPT, hold onto the car we wanted and NOT sell it. Yes, a "new" sales associate sold the car we test drove and asked them to take down from the internet. We were assured it would be fine. To reconcile, they tried to "find us" an equivalent, for about two weeks. Then, we got lost in the day-to-day. All-in-all, great service, just terrible (and maybe it was just us) commitment and followthrough. Alex was great though. if you're going to buy from them, buy right away as there are too many moving parts for them to "properly" hold the car for you. Bought a 2014 ram 3500 for just under $40k. coolant light came on immediately. I live hour and half from dealership. It was burning a jug of coolant a day. They obviously put blue devil gasket seal in it. A week later a minute of white smoke on start up. Blown head gasket cracked head and more issues. currently over $6k in repairs. May have bad injectors. Won't know until the new head comes in. Just the injectors alone are $750 a piece OEM. They sold me this knowing the issue. They won't reimburse any money. I just bought my 2015 Mini Countryman JCW from Trust Auto. It was a phenomenal experience!! I must leave my review immediately because I was a little concerned by these negative reviews I read. Like you, I know that happy people don't leave reviews but unhappy people come out of the woodwork to complain. I found my car online. It was below a fair price and looked perfect from photos inside their photo room. Trust definitely knows how to show their vehicles! I emailed David Neuberth, the GM, who called and emailed me immediately, and then worked with Jason Moczulski who was amazing!! Because the photos were perfect and I don't do surprises, I asked Jason to inform me of flaws. He took photos and videos with his phone and sent them to me which was so nice. This was Saturday. Today, Monday, I flew up to MD from Pawleys Island, SC to check out the car, test drive it and hopefully purchase it. Katarina "Kat" Kuzminova greeted me sweetly and professionally and got some business information from me. This car is as perfect as a car could be with 50K on it. I keep my cars nice! So the fact that Trust Auto has my new Mini professionally detailed inside and out is so nice! There were a few things for me to take care of (dc sockets didn't work, drivers wiper was streaking.) Jason and Scott mentioned these to the Trust mechanics, and a fuse and two new wipers were replaced at no cost to me.
