What's with all the bad reviews? I'm sure some are legitimate, but if you go through and read them, they just seem like unhappy people. My experience has been good from purchase to service. I bought a Porsche Cayenne from Jason Jacovsky, knowledgable polite awesome guy. Six months later I had to go back and fix the transfer case (known issue with porsche, not dealer's fault). Only thing that sucked was the 12 month warranty only covers up to $2000, so I had to pay an extra $2100 out of pocket. Of course I'm sure it was disclosed in my contract, I just didn't bother to read it. They gave me a loaner car, had it fixed in a few days. So my car was stolen on 10/31 , recovered on 11/2 , right front tire was popped front rims bent , front end of the vehicle was crashed, amongst other damage ! $8k in work paid by the insurance company , some of the work included , new rack and pinion , new tires , rims , front end alignment & much much more! 1 month worth of work. So the next day after i pick up my car, I notice a noise in the RIGHT front end, clicking , screeching So I call Marlene and tell her, she says bring the car back in , but before 8am so Harvey has time to test drive the car. Well that was impossible because my only day off was Sunday, mind you I just started a new job 2 weeks prior because I lost mine when the car got stolen because I couldn't make it to work for 3 days . I made them aware of this also. Finally I'm off of work for week, but Dp was Harvey, I was told to bring the car back when he got out of surgery. All along the noise in the right end is worse the suspension is feeling awful. Welp ! I just took my car back over when I could , months later, but I wasn't waiting for the 8am requirement any longer ! Immediately Harvey looks at the car & says, "this car is out of alignment, it was perfect when it left like it was MY fault! Gives me a loaner and hits me with a $1700 estimate! None of the work had anything to do with the noise in the front end! So ask about the noise, he said t,"the ball joints are dry, I'll grease them when If you get the other work done here. and he was gonna throw the alignment in too. Bless his heart ! He was gonna do me a solid! So i said "nah I'll park it , when my taxes come back I'll bring it in" i had no intentions! So i parked my car, then Covid happened! During that time we did all the work he was going to charge $1700 for for less than $700 ! Except the ball joint lube! I take the car to 4 mechanics, all of them insisting that it unethical to align a car with bad ball joints, the ball joints were damaged upon collision especially if they had to replace the rack , tires and rims! They all four assured me it is against manufacturers recommendation to lube those ball joints, if they are dry , they are bad! Replacing a rack on a car with front end collision and 93k miles and not replacing the ball joints is why it's out of alignment!! They all four said , " the car shouldn't be on the road and he knew it! Even after he was going to get rid of the noise with grease but not the problem, align the car again, wait for me to bring it back out of alignment and nail me to have the ball joints replaced! But hey , he wasn't gonna charge me to rig my ball joints and align my car knowing it wouldn't remain aligned in the first place! So here it is 7 months later .....that little noise that just needed some grease has caused a domino effect f issues with my front end! Don't bother coming here! They are blood suckers! read more

I believe I've been sold a lemon. My cars have never been in the shop as much as this Mercedes I brought from Car Biz. The first time I took my car to the shop, I was told it was rusted underneath the car. My break line was rusted and had to be replaced. Just about everything under my car needed replacing. Wonderful car-buying experience yesterday with Carbiz. I found the car (2011 CRV EXL) online and was contacted right away by a sales associate. We emailed back and forth a few times and I decided to head over for a test drive. After viewing the location on the map, I was a little hesitant because I felt like the car dealership wasn't in the best area and I was by myself, but when you get there, the dealership itself is BEAUTIFUL. It is very much what you would expect of a Silicon Valley tech firm -- all reclaimed wood and plants, open seating plan instead of little offices, arcade games, ping pong table, fresh filtered water and take-away water bottles, apples to snack on, etc. Being 9 months pregnant, I appreciated all of these little amenities that made the whole experience so much more pleasant than the other car dealerships I've been dealing with over the past few weeks with their smoky restrooms and sad broken keurigs in the corner.... Anyway, I've been on the hunt for the perfect used CRV for some time and have dealt with lots of sales people and many dealerships. Nothing really felt quite right until I went to Carbiz. I worked with Jason who was very relaxed, honest, knowledgable, and kind. He was the opposite of all of the shady, sexist, uninformed salespeople I've met over the past few weeks. He made the process as smooth as possible, and as I'm EXHAUSTED, I truly appreciate it. My overprotective dad decided to tag along (without an invitation) and between the two of us, we were very annoying -- but Jason handled it perfectly and professionally. It's a used car, so they are cleaning it up for me today (detailing and doing some paint touch ups, fixing a loose panel) and I am excited to pick it up later! Other perks of this dealership besides the sleek atmosphere and Jason include a complimentary 30-day bumper to bumper or 1 year drivetrain warranty AND a 5-day window to bring your car back for any reason. (I will be taking it to a mechanic to get looked over in the next 5 days, just in case.) Besides Jason, I also want to give a shout out to his manager (forgot his name, nice guy) and also the girl at the front desk who had to stay late because we were taking a long time...she was so friendly and welcoming! Being that I have just purchased a CRV (and another one last year) I don't anticipate needing another car any time soon, but if I did, I would go back to Carbiz in a heartbeat, and I will definitely be recommending them to friends and family who are in the market. 5 stars for this dealership in making an online purchase well worth it. What to buy what to buy? My older car a 1997 Acura CL 2.2 recently was attacked by a mudslide in my home town of Daly City, CA. I had been looking for awhile online for the best price with a specific model in mind. I had the specific year, color, engine, etc... Very difficult find indeed. I tried several other online listings autotrader, carmax, costco, truecar, etc all kinda gave me same price about $3-7k over what the actual price of the vehicle was worth. Most of the sites provided me with 2008's to 2010's models over 10k in mileage both dealer and private sales; if not new vehicles well over the my budget. I was able to find this site through the power of Google haha, glad it directed me to the site, I was able to locate the vehicle I wanted, I emailed them directly and received a response promptly. They asked if I would like to come on down for a test drive I stated I am in California, so a test drive was out of the question, they answered all of my questions about the car and also provided me with the carfax to the vehicle. The mileage was really low 895 on the odometer for a 2011 Dodge Challenger SRT8, 6spd, with sunroof and most important Toxic Orange color the rally stripes were grey I preferred them to be black but when I received the car grey fits the car nicely no complaints here. I was in direct contact with Sam Sarris salesrep in regards to everything I needed to know about the car, he basically made it a seamless purchase, he was able to get me a better financing apr rate then I was able to get with my bank, with the paperwork for signing it was mailed to me, with all the points that needed to be signed were labeled and neatly prepped. Also the finance department was very friendly I was able to speak with Angela hope that is the correct spelling , she was able provide me with information on process of when I receive the car what is needed by the DMV to get everything squared away, since of course it was an out of state vehicle coming into California the emissions are different. Carbiz sold me a 2017 BMW x1 in July with only one key fob. When I ordered a new key from BMW, it did not work. The dealer informed me that Carbiz had reprogrammed the car computer so that it would only accept their key. In order for my car to accept a new key, I have to replace the car computer - a cost of 2600 dollars! Beware if Carbiz sells you a BMW with only one key fob! If you lose it you may end up in the expensive mess I find myself in. read more

Bought my first car over the weekend and wanted to share how AMAZING Carbiz was! 1) INVENTORY: They have all the inventory online so you can take a look before you even arrive. I would call ahead of time because sometimes their inventory doesn't fully update. 2) COMMUNICATION: I made an appointment to see a particular Fiat that I saw online. They had the car ready for me as soon as I walked in, and even called 30 minutes after my appointment time because we were running late. 3) FRONT DESK: I wish I got her name, but she was incredibly sweet and observant of all the customers that walked in and had such a smiley friendly demeanor. We got lightly rained on and she insisted on giving us paper towels to dry off. 4) TEST DRIVE: They insisted that I take it on the highway and it lasted about 20 minutes. This was pretty exciting because some car dealerships are really nosy about where you are going. 5) CUSTOMER SERVICE: Dani was GREAT. She was very friendly, helpful, and not overly intrusive. She made sure to keep us updated throughout the whole process and was so understanding while we worked through financing and securing insurance. 6) PRICE: They are "no-haggle" here, which I actually appreciate. There's also a hefty service fee, but that's pretty standard. We looked at the KBB value before we arrived, and their prices were right in the average so we felt like we got a fair deal. 7) ATMOSPHERE: It's on Reisterstown Road right off of Northern Parkway. The building itself is newly renovated and very clean. It reminded me of being in an IKEA because of all the modern furniture and open space. All the cars are parked outside so you can walk through and view them. If you want to take home the car, they make sure to clean it and freshen it up. Overall, such a great experience. I was really worried because it was my first car, but they did their best to make everything seamless and smooth. Bring your own financing. We went to purchase and older car. Low miles, clean, but 10 years old. This thing was perfect. The in house finance guys managed to talk us into 'checking' with their banks for finance options. Sat there for over an hour for them to show back up and tell us we need to put a total of 30% down on this car, we had offered 20% already, and that the interest rate would be outrageous. Wife and I have no other debt and high credit scores. Went home to work out my own financing. Called my credit union, had an answer in 3 min. Got one high pressure call from the dealer when I was at work the next day. By the time I had gotten out of work the car was gone before we went back for a second test drive. Blessing in disguise, I suppose. Space was clean, test drive was painless, sales folks were polite. I'd consider shopping there again, but I'd show up with my own financing. read more

I bought a Ford Explorer from Car Biz in 2018. Everyone there was polite and professional. I purchased the "Luxury" extended warranty package for $1657.00. I purchased this package because of the electronics in the car. The brochure states that the following items are covered in the Luxury Package: -Factory Installed Navigation -Navigation System Display Unit -Navigation System Control Module -Navigation System Antenna My navigation system began malfunctioning about a month ago and is no longer functional. I took it into the local Ford Dealership to get it repaired. The warranty company that services the warranty (GWC) refused to cover the repairs, stating that it was a software problem and was not covered. The Car Biz/ GWC brochure led me to believe that any problems with the navigation system would be covered. I regret buying the extended warranty. Despite intial satisfaction with Car Biz, I don't think that I will buy another car from them. read more

This was the first online car buying experience for us, without the usual test drive and in-person inspection. William did a Video Tour of the vehicle and showed us the inside and outside and answered our questions real time. REDEMPTION! It started with an apology from Matthew (Matt) Pollock and him offering to drive the car down to me so that I could view it. The Sales Manager Brian Schriver also apologized for any inconvienince I was caused and assured me that this is not how Carbiz operates. The car was in terrific shape and ready for me when I arrived to test drive it. Matt was extremely calming and accomodating throughout the process. My Second Visit convinced that this was the car I wanted and these are the kind of people I wanted to deal with. There was no pressure to buy and both Matt and Brian helped me get the terms I was looking for. To top it off the Financial Manager Myron Boyd was informed and helpful in explaining everything involved with financing the car. Once I decided what I wanted to finance process was painless and quick. My biggest praise still lies with Matt. If not for his efforts I would've never come back. What a horrible experience! I called the company after spotting a car I wanted. I was told no deposits and that it is first come first served. When I informed them that I was sending a car inspector there to look at the car, they assigned me a salesperson by the name of Fred. On the morning of the inspection, the inspector called to tell Fred he was on the way. According to the inspector, Fred indicated that the car might be sold. When asked to confirm that the car had been sold, the inspector says that Fred changed his story and indicated that the car wasn't sold and to come on down. During the inspection, the inspector overheard Fred telling someone that the car should be parked outside because it was sold. Say what? The inspector immediately calls into the office and the office calls me. They tell me to call over to CarBiz immediately. When I call, Fred says that the car has been sold, but the buyer isn't there yet. When I press Fred about this asking why someone else who isn't there can purchase the car when my inspector has been there and I want to buy the car, he puts me on hold. Minutes tick away. I'm disconnected. I call back only to get disconnected again. When I finally reach Fred, he apologizes for the confusion and offers me a refund for the inspection fees I paid. What a nightmare. I had been searching for a car for weeks. When I finally find one, it isn't "first come, first served." It is whoever Fred wants to please. According to the inspector, this person buys from them frequently, so he was probably a dealer. I asked Fred about this, but he denied it. Word of advice: Push through all the customer service reps who take your call and speak directly to a manager. Make sure your intentions are clear. Even though Fred was aware of a pending inspection, he never called me. I would never do business with Fred again. *****Update I received a call from their customer care person. She was very apologetic and listened to my complaints. She even followed up with an email expressing how important customer service is to their company. Unfortunately, there wasn't anything that could be done. The car was gone. Fred offered to refund the inspector's fee. I called management, and they confirmed a check would be sent out. The problem is that I have been searching for a car for weeks. It's exhausting. Would I try to buy from Carbiz again? Yes, because the pricing and the quality of the vehicle were very competitive, but I would advise that if you are an out-of-state buyer, you will have to be very aggressive since the sales experience isn't as personalized as it would be with a franchise dealer. She also offered to look out for other cars that fit my requests. Fantastic. I wanted a new car in my driveway before the month's end...and there are just seven days to go. Unfortunately, it doesn't look promising. Sadly, this experience has changed how I will now do business as a consumer searching for a car. When I was searching for a car I found the carbiz website very user friendly and had numerous cars in my price range that I was looking for. Unlike other dealerships in the area the inventory and pricing on the website i found to be accurate. Others would show a car that was either not in stock or had been sold with a very good price and then when I would call that car was sold but 'another like it was in stock with a bit higher price'. I felt like that was bait to get me to call when the car and price was not true. The staff was very friendly and my salesman was knowledgeable and courteous, no high pressure tactics at all. The actual dealership was clean and did not make me feel nervous like some of the others that had loud music pumping inside with salesman smoking at the front door and high pressure tactics. My husband and I were interested in purchasing a 2014 CR-V. My husband had spoken with a representative the day before, had all the financing details done, etc. All we had to do was go and officially purchase the car (the salesman knew when we were coming). We arrive, the car is waiting for us, we took it on a test drive. Everything is going well. We go back into the dealership, sit and wait for an hour and a half only to be told that the car was already sold that morning. I was given a CarFax report when I purchased the vehicle. Hopefully I don't have any issues. My credit isn't the best and where other dealerships wouldn't give me time of day, they were able to approve me within 20 minutes. I said accident, what I meant was the car had been TOTALED. Stupid me, at the time I thought car reports were only needed if you were buying privately, not from a licensed dealership. How all car dealerships should operate. Bought my car from Carbiz recently and was extremely satisfied. I went to a lot of places and checked out reviews from about 10 other dealerships in Baltimore. The prices from Carbiz were the best and they have an incredible amount of positive reviews on Google Places and other reputable sites. The low rating on Yelp was the only site where they have sub-par ratings. But after reading through the negative ones, I realized that most of them weren't from actual consumers or had complaints about trivial things. One was an issue with being told different pricing than when they actually decided to make the purchase. That was not the case for me at all. The price was the same online as it was when I signed. The no haggle pricing makes things really simple. If you can afford the price, great. If not, find something else that's in your price range. It's really that simple. We test drove several cars before I ended up pulling the trigger on an Acura. The price was the best I could find in Baltimore. I worked with Sam and he was extremely friendly and accommodating. Didn't hassle or pressure me at all. Very knowledgeable about each car I looked at and had an answer for all of my questions. I didn't make a purchase after my first visit and wasn't pressured to make a deal that day. When I decided to move forward, most of the work was already done when I got to the dealership and I was in and out in under an hour. The inside is very clean and everyone else I dealt with was friendly. I also liked that the dealers have been with the company for a while. I went to Carbiz in late December 2008 and by 1 Feb 09 my car was broke down. 3 days after getting my car, the engine stalled and sputtered. I took back to the dealership who said they fixed the problem. Next day it happened again and again I took it back. Last time it happened I took it to and independent mechanic and he said they just put tape on my engine to get me out the door. TAPE! So on my way back to Carbiz to tell them that I know they didn't fix it like they were supposed to and they sold me a lemon, the car catches on fire while I'm driving. I recently purchased a Landrover LR2 from them and my experience could not have been better. I found the car I wanted online and the price was within my range. I went in for a test-drive, and the car was in great condition and ran great. They then gave me a free carfax report which was totally clean. Now here is the best part. We agreed on a price of the car and there were NO hidden fees. The number one thing you will find with cars found on cars.com is shady dealers adding BS reconditioning fees. It can sometimes be THOUSANDS of $$. Carbiz does not do this and it made our business together go very smoothly. After we agreed on a price, they added tax, title, and some reasonable processing fees and I was out the door. I will be back in the future with more business. Update: After getting the car home, I found there was something stuck in the Aux port on the radio. (they had no way of knowing when they sold me the car.) They had a tech come right over from their service department, disassemble the center console and remove the broken 1/8th inch jack and I was out the door in 20 minutes. Great service. We had high hopes when we started this endeavor. My husband had researched and found the car he wanted at the Carbiz in Baltimore. He had gotten an advanced offer for the 2012 Mercedes ML350 we were planning to trade in. We had a noon appointment so we showed up early. When we walked into the dealership, we saw several dogs walking around, but there was no one at the front desk. This was a little off putting, but we decided to wait. Eventually Javier came over (WITH NO MASK) and asked if he could help. We informed him that we had an appointment with Matt. Javier walked away (presumably to get Matt), but came back a few minutes later. At least this time he was wearing a mask. My husband explained that he was there to see a specific vehicle. Javier seem flustered, at which point he informed us that he started working yesterday. He went to get the vehicle and asked if we wanted to test drive, to which my husband responded of course. We were initially told that we could take it out by ourselves. Then he came back out and told us that he had to go with us. Sure, no problem. He asked if we were familiar with the area and we told him yes. My husband starts driving and Javier tells us that we had to drive a certain route, couldn't exceed 60 mph, and couldn't keep the car out for more than 10 minutes. At this point, I'm getting perturbed. We have NEVER been treated in this manner. As a matter of fact, about 2 months ago we bought a Porsche Cayenne in Annapolis and there weren't any of these restrictions! Nonetheless, we informed Javier that we wanted the car. Javier left and came back with Matt, who wanted to test drive our Mercedes. The Mercedes was well maintained and Carbiz honored the preliminary offer. Between the trade and the down payment, we were putting $25k toward the Lexus and financing $10k. We already had financing but wanted to know if they could beat the rate. They said they could, so we waited. And waited. And waited. While we waited other customers came in and waited for someone to realize they were there. We noticed that there were several employees in the various offices lining the walls. However, no one readily came out to assist customers as they came in. While we were waiting, Javier claimed that they were waiting on the finance company to get back to them with the lower rate, but if we didn't want to wait, we could take the slightly higher rate. We responded that we would wait. Javier tried to get us to sign two loan agreements - one for the promised rate and the other for the higher rate. He promised that once the lower rate was approved, he'd tear up the other agreement. Seriously!?!?!? My has make $170k/year and he has excellent credit. After 3 HOURS and me accusing them of a bait and switch, they processed the sale with the lower rate. And by the way, one dog sniffed my husbands crotch and another growled at me as I was trying to find the restroom. I would've asked someone where it was, but no one was in the sales area. I'm still flabbergasted. I will say that I found Matt to be courteous and Javier to be slow and borderline incompetent. He forgot to take our downpayment and when my husband realized, we turned around and took it back. read more

Let me start off by saying I never write reviews, but all the negative reviews on here made me want to share my great experiences with Carbiz. Yes, experiences plural. I have now bought 2 cars from here, and been very pleased with the cars and the level of service. I have bought both a Tahoe and an Escalade from here and been extremely satisfied with the cars. They stand behind what they sell you and give you a fair deal. Danielle, Brian and Russ are all great to work with and we will definitely be back for our next car! They are not some junky used car lot trying to sell you a lemon. This is a well run used car dealership that gives you the feel of buying a new car even though it is used. It is extremely difficult to find a used car dealership that provides full service the way Carbiz does - having their own in house service shop does make a difference. This was my first experience with Carbiz. I saw a commercial with Ray Rice and I found them on the internet when I was searching for the car that I wanted. They were the closet dealership that I had the car I was searching for. We went there to test drive it and that's all she wrote! Everyone there was very helpful and seemed to actually care about what they did. My salesperson Matthew Pollock was awesome! He listened to what I wanted and he was very patient with us throughout the process. The car I got had some minor things that required me to bring it back in to get touched up and Matt made that process very painless. They set me up with a loaner vehicle so that I could get to work and when I came to pick it up everything was good to go. I will be referring any of my family/friends to Carbiz in the future. I was thoroughly pleased with the entire process. I will be honest, I was skeptical of the dealership because I had no knowledge of them. Katie Macris and Myron Boyd did a great job especially since we were a walk-in. Katie was a joy to work with and she was able to answer any questions I had. She allowed me to aggressively test drive the Q7 without any concerns or complaints. This alone made me very confident in the quality of vehicle I was about to purchase. The vehicle was clean and the price was lower than comparable vehicles in the area. Myron was very proficient and had us in and out very quickly. The showroom and lot were clean and inviting, and the facility as a whole was neat and clean, especially the restrooms. We felt that we got a fair deal on our trade. We are very happy with the experience at Carbiz. If we are ever in the market for another vehicle, Carbiz will be on the list of dealerships to visit. read more

Over the weekend we purchased an 2015 Nissan Murano from Martin at Carbiz. We called before we go there to make sure it was still available and he said he had the keys in hand. We got there 20 minutes before close but Martin didn't mind and told us they never close on time anyways. Two hours later we drove away with our new vehicle. We traded a vehicle and they honored what the other dealership was prepared to offer us.The processing fee was cheapest in the area. Would recommend and return for another vehicle. Update: Carbiz / Martin followed up with is to make sure we were happy the other day. Service like this is not that common. read more

IF I COULD DO A ZERO RATING I WOULD! My son purchased a Benz E350 from Evan Berney (owner) as a birthday present for me. I lived in Florida and the car was to be delivered to me from Baltimore and it was, but WITH incident. The day the car was delivered, the driver attempted to back the car off of the truck. He did not flatten the bed and I witnessed him scraping the bottom of my front bumper (looked like he was going to pull it off) on the metal floor bed. I had to yell for the driver to stop! He got out of the car and flattened the bed to remove my car. I inspected the car and noted all of the damage and immediately asked for his information to call the trucking company. The trucker asked me to call Evan, which I did. We talked over the phone, and Evan asked me not to contact the trucking company because it would ruin his business with that company. He vowed that he would take care of the damages. I believed him because I thought he was an honest person. Well I have found out that is not the case. Evan initially gave me the number of a guy named Greg to contact about fixing the damages. "Greg" never answered and the phone kept going to vm. I told Evan about this. I then decided to meet with a certified collision center to get an estimate for the damages to submit to Evan. The amount of damages were $2139.29 of which I submitted to Evan along with pictures. Evan then tried to send me to some other friend he called Jr (who was located over 50 miles from my home) to fix my car. I didn't agree to that because I told him that I wanted my damages fixed by a Mercedes certified collision center to make sure the car was fixed correctly and that the parts were Mercedes parts. Evan didn't like the costs to fix the damages but yet insisted that he would get them fixed. He even asked me to file the damages with MY car insurance, of which I refused to do. Eventually Evan sent me a check for $500 and a letter insisting "this is coming out of or our pocket and this is not an expense we expected to incur while assisting in finding transportation for your vehicle." Evan is the person who decided how my vehicle was going to be transported. I have refused the check and never cashed it because I don't agree with the fact the he REFUSES to pay for the total cost of the damages. I WANT TO BE FULLY REIMBURSED FOR THE DAMAGES AND WILL CONTINUE TO FIGHT FOR WHATS RIGHT. EVAN HAS TAKEN FULL RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE COSTS BUT ONLY WANTS TO PAY AN AMOUNT LESS THAN THE ACTUAL COSTS FOR THE DAMAGES. I have written him and called him numerous times but he avoids the situation. I would not trust Evan Berney and the way they handle business at Carbiz. They lack integrity and appear to have suspicious dealings at that business. In fact, I never saw or signed an inspection report/documents for the car when it was delivered and I am not sure that my car was put on the truck for delivery using the trucking companies policies and with their knowledge. I feel that there may have been a side deal between Evan and the truck driver to deliver my vehicle, which is why Evan insisted that I don't call the trucking company. I don't think my car was scheduled properly for delivery and the trucker may have been paid under the table. read more

Hello, My name is Nathaniel Booker. My wife, Amanda and I had a terrible experience with Carbiz car dealership on Friday July 22, 2016 and have been unable to get a satisfactory resolution. I recently received an preapproval from Capital One to purchase a vehicle from Carbiz. Since my wife really likes the Honda Crosstour which is no longer manufactured by Honda, we looked on Carbiz's website and found one that met her likes, wants and needs. We scheduled a test drive for this past Friday and drove to the dealership from our home in Essex, MD. We met our salesperson, Ms. Danni Miller who went over the terms of the vehicle we were interested in purchasing and took us for a test drive. Prior to going for the test drive, we advised her that we would be trading in our 2008 Honda Civic EX-L and she asked for the keys so as to get the car appraised. She left us for about 10-15 minutes and came back with the keys to the Crosstour and told us that they would be able to pay off our trade which has a balance of $4300.00. She said that they could have offered more if the vehicle didn't have an accident in its history, to which we were comfortable with as my wife stated that the car had been in an accident in 2011. We went on the test drive and both my wife and I really liked the Crosstour and were very much interested in buying it. We came back to the dealership and started going over numbers for the monthly payment of the Crosstour. Amanda stated that she would like to keep the payment in the $400 range. Danni left us again but this time for a longer period of time and when she came back, she visibly looked uncomfortable and asked us if we'd consider "taking the trade-in out of the deal" and buying the Crosstour. I told her that it made no sense for us to come into the dealership with 2 car payments (the Civic and a truck I own) and leave with 3 payments. She then stated that her manager said the car "doesn't drive right". Amanda asked her, "what do you mean it doesn't drive right, we just had the car inspected and it drives fine." We'd drive all the way to the dealership from Essex and had no issues with our car. Danni again stated that her manager said that it "doesn't drive right". We decided not to buy the car and as we left out of the dealership, before we even got to our car, we saw that someone had driven it and gotten into an accident with it. We arrived at Carbiz about 6pm and I parked at the end of the building near the service department. I parked head-in in the parking space under 3 video cameras. When we left the dealership around 7:30, our car had been driven by someone at the dealership and backed into the same parking space and the front left bumper had visible physical damage to it as though someone had run into a wall or something as it had fresh powder-like paint on it. We immediately went back into the dealership and spoke with Danni and advised her that someone had gotten into an accident with our car and she told us that her manager had driven our car. She went to get him and while we waited, a caucasian employee (bald) came and asked us what was wrong and we told him and he stated, "don't worry, we're not going to leave you hanging". The manager, a gentleman named, Russ Tzvetanov came and introduced himself to us and stated that he'd driven our car. He walked back out to the parking lot with us where we showed him the damage to our car. He at this time became belligerent and hostile and stated that we got the "powder" on the car, speaking of the paint from the damage, when we were driving to the dealership. He said they have cameras and he'd look at the video to prove that he didn't cause the damage. We went back inside with him and he continued his hostile rant about our car having been damaged when we brought it there but was unable at the time to pull up the video. Amanda said she was calling the police which she did and we went outside to wait, she went back into the dealership while we were waiting for the police and said that the employees were viewing video footage and when she went to view it with them, they told her she couldn't see it because she wasn't allowed in a "restricted area". We were met by 2 uniformed police officers. One of the officers was wearing a body camera. We told the officers what happened and the officers went inside to talk to the employees. We were told by the officers that the cameras directly above the parking space where I parked "mysteriously weren't working" but the lot cameras show where I drove the car into the lot when we initially arrived around 6pm and there was not damage to our car. read more

Another superior experience at Car Biz. In the past I had 2 amazing experiences with their body shop so when I was looking to purchase a car I thought I would give them a whirl. What a GREAT experience. No pressure just great information, lots of options and great service. I had no intention of purchasing that day but walked out with a Ford Edge and I LOVE it. Kevin, my sales person and Matt the manager were top notch. Every detail was attended to however it was snowing that evening so I needed to return when the sun was shining to wrap up a feel details. Roscoe in the service department could not have been more accommodating and Colin F. came out to welcome me to the Car Biz family. Hope to purchase another car from them soon. Do not deal with a car salesman by the name of Danielle Miller !!! Extremely unprofessional !!! We spent 2 days going back and forth and she is not seasoned in making deals and has no knowledge of what documentation is needed to process for the loan department. I would recommend anyone seek any other salesperson because she is very unprofessional to say the least. The loan department seems not care about their potential customers as well but my problem was with Danielle Miller not telling me to bring documentation knowing we were coming from across town.
