    12/15/21 Review for Service: I received a coupon via email for a free synthetic oil change for my first service. Tire rotation is also recommended every 7,500 miles so I had that done for $19.95. It was my first visit to the Service Center. When you arrive, you pull forward into one of the two service lanes, then take your keys inside to sign in. I was informed it would take about an hour. It is only walk-in for oil changes. It would be more convenient if an appointment could be scheduled for logistical purposes. My husband and I went to lunch and came back. I didn't keep track of the time so not sure if we came back too early or they were done a tad later than we were told. Either way it was about an hour to service. When I went in to check on the status, I was informed that they were in the process of rotating the tires. When they were done, I received a phone call while sitting in the waiting room saying that my car was ready. Service was completed according to the work order and receipt. They provide a complimentary car wash for every service, which is nice. They also provide complimentary wifi, snacks, coffee, and a shuttle within 10 miles. My only critique about my visit is that a water bottle was left on my passenger seat that didn't belong to me. I know oversights happen so no big deal. Overall, I had a good experience. --------------------------------------------- On a side note, I was shocked to see how low the inventory was on the car lot. When I was car shopping back in April, it was completely full. I definitely purchased my car at the right time. I love my CR-V and am so happy with my purchase.

Good prices, and reliable on-time service. I've heard good things about Eakle's from family and friends, and I decided to try them on my oil-change and tire rotation which were both due (Apr 2026). I was able to get an appointment about a week out. (Sometimes it's a little longer to get one.) I dropped off my car around 9am, and after a 5min stop in their little waiting room, a fellow quickly got my info and got me out the door. Around 11:30am, they called to offer an engine-filter change and a cabin-filter change, which i agreed to. They were all done by 1:15pm. The price was great! About half what my dealer charges for a dealer-coupon-rate! And while I really didnt expect to notice the change, my car literally hummed on the drive home! Smooth driving and smooth accelerating. And the cabin airflow was definitely quieter and noticeably less musty. Thanks, Eakle's, for looking at the air filters! I'm quite pleased with their work, their attention to detail, their fair prices, their efficient service, and their nice business-like attitude. It's great to find a reliable shop. Remember: The "Eak" in Eakles is pronounced like the "e" in "Excellent! (I came up with that myself :-)

I have an older Lexus and it seemed that one of the sensors in the bumper got knocked out and needed to be repositioned and secured since there was no longer a bracket under the bumper. I told him that an aftermarket product or a quick fix would be fine and that I was not looking to restore it to factory condition but just be operational. 45 minutes later, he called me to tell me my car was ready. Tim had used simple tools to secure the sensor in place and ensured that it worked and performed as it should. It was so nice that he listened to me and found a very inexpensive solution to my problem. I expect that I will be using Eakle's for all of our future car repair needs. Highly recommend!!!

I had no idea what to expect but I just wanted good service for a decent price. My expectations were far exceeded. It is an amazing place to get your car fixed for a fantastic price. The employees at the front desk are phenominal and the mechanics are super fast and talented. I feel like I am part of a family there. Regardless of how long it has been since I have called, they always remember me and welcome my business. It is a smaller location on liberty road and it is a bit if a fast turn into the parking lot but the business itself is not hard to find at all. It is super easy to schedule an appointment online, by phone, or in person. There is a shuttle service if you need to go while your car is being worked on. I prefer to hang around and chat with the staff. Either way, I highly recommend this business and will continue to go myself!

    Terrible Experience - Lost $$ and My Emergency Brake…read more I brought my 2002 Chevrolet Avalanche to Midas for four new tires, an oil change, and emergency brake adjustment. What should have been routine maintenance turned into a $3,500 nightmare that left me with an unsafe vehicle. Immediately after picking up my truck, I noticed a squeaking noise coming from the front when accelerating from stops. After two-hour highway drives, the squeaking became much louder. The noise clearly appeared after Midas worked on my vehicle and was heat-related - loud when warm, subtle when cool. Despite explaining that the problem started immediately after their work, Midas claimed the issue was my front wheel bearings - something they never mentioned during their initial inspection. I paid $1,200 for new bearings. The squeaking continued unchanged. When I complained about paying $1,200 for unnecessary bearings, they dismissively said I "would have needed them eventually anyway." After multiple visits and a 100-mile highway drive to ensure they could hear the problem, two mechanics still couldn't identify the source. They kept my truck on the lift for three hours and then suggested the problem "might" be the emergency brake shoes they had initially adjusted (although the sound seemed to be coming from the front, not rear of the truck where the emergency brake is). Instead of adjusting the emergency brake back to its original position as I asked them, they completely removed the brake shoes WITHOUT MY AUTHORIZATION. When I arrived to pick up my truck, they handed me my brake shoes in a box and the keys, essentially sending me out with an unsafe vehicle. Bottom Line: - Spent $3,500 ($900 was for the tires) - Paid $1,200 for unnecessary wheel bearings that didn't fix anything - Squeaking noise they created is likely still there - Now have NO emergency brake - Vehicle potentially unsafe to drive Midas created a problem, charged me for incorrect diagnoses, then removed the emergency brake without permission. Instead of admitting they couldn't fix their mistake, they sent me away with an unsafe vehicle. This is inexcusable. I'm now stuck figuring out if it's even safe to drive my truck and how to get my emergency brake properly repaired elsewhere. Avoid this location at all costs.

    Doc was my mechanic for many years. At first, I was allowed to be with the car as his son worked on…read moreit he would chat with me. But later even after covid lifted he stopped letting me be in the waiting area. The last oil change as I was driving had the oil filter fell out and all the engine oil spilled onto the streets. I brought the car back and told him the engine is really loud. It sounds like metal grinding. Doc took a look and filled it up with engine oil and installed the wrong oil filter and told me I would be good for another 6 months at least. I listened to the engine and it didn't sound right. I brought it to the dealership that then diagnosed it as a failed engine block. Metal was inside the engine and it needed replacement. In addition, the second oil filter wasn't even the correct filter for my car and was two turns from falling out. Oil was already leaking from it. The bottom of my car was coated in oil, and it could have caught on fire. Fortunately it didnt, and Doc owned up to his mistakes and his business insurance covered the repair. However, that was another hurdle to over come as it got delayed for months. It is very difficult to find a good car shop. Bless you if you have one.
