My wife has been there for almost 2-3 hours trying to get a car and he proceeds to walk away to help other customers when my wife is sitting directly at his desk giving her the runaround and a lot of excuses. He decided to call her rude and said she had an attitude when she didn't because I've been on the phone with her the entire time since she arrived at that place. I would give them zero stars if I could. I was talking to Jose via text and set up an appointment with him. I get there, they ask me if I have an appointment, then just stuck me with a random salesman who had no knowledge of why I was there. The two cars that I talked to Jose about wanting to test drive were completely snowed in. It took them around 30 minutes to shovel out the one vehicle. They didn't even bother to try with the second one while I was on my test drive, so I just took a look at it and left. I received a rude text from Walid, my salesman. It is extremely unprofessional for a salesman to speak to a customer this way. I told him during my visit that I may be back, but that I wasn't sure when and that I'd reach out. It's been four days since my visit, three of which were the weekend. I have never been spoken to like this by a salesman. To add to this, he made no effort to sell me the Toyota Corolla Cross while I was there. He was dead silent our entire test drive, unless it was to talk about the snow. I had to ask him for directions and suggestions on where to drive, he made no effort to provide directions or any information about the car. I had to pull it out of him. Another week passed, and I had to reach out again. This time, I was told they had to order parts, which supposedly arrived. Again, I was promised a follow-up call by 3 PM -- nothing. I thought at first going here i would be happy with my results after recently loosing a vehicle I trusted that the staff would put me in a reliable car after having the car for about a week I notice shaking from the rear back . I notified the supervisor immediately he test drove the car and noticed the same issue after going back and forth a claim was filed my car was sent to eastern of white marsh they diagnosed it saying I needed shocks, alignment and a tire I had it literally under 3 weeks why should I have to fix this issue. Than I never got a copy of my second set of keys that was promised and I was told I would get free oil changes that was a lie as well. I would avoid this dealership never again. Than I was told that my manufacture warranty I went over the mileage after all this time of waiting. Manager told me they may make an exception to fix my car and in the end nothing. I was so upset Im currently seeking other alternatives defintely reaching out to the Better Business Bureau. Gentleman calls me yesterday and i use the word gentleman loosely. I had put a application in for a job couple weeks ago. First he doesnt even know my name and then proceeds to ask if i sold cars before. Umm you have my resume and yes my full name and the fact i sold cars for years is right there to see. He at that point still has not told me who he is. It gets better. He then asks me where i live and how many cars i sell a month. Im thinking this is a robocall because this guy has not even did a proper meet and greet and told me who is calling. He has a real i could care less attitude while he sounds like hes chomping on a sandwich. I sure hope everybody there is not as unprofessional as he was. Needless to say i finally got out of him where he was calling from and why he is calling me. What a real piece of work that guy was. I was buying a new car a few days ago and saw that this dealership had a car I'd like to view/test drive. I called and a man named Jason Walcott answered the phone. He was very pushy over the phone and was annoyed that I wasn't making any commitments. I just wanted to see if I could stop by anytime to check it out. He asked if I'm buying the car that day and I said no, I still have questions. He said ask your questions and I said "well I have a list". He found this a little annoying and said "wow you have a list" in a sarcastic tone. He asked me when I would be by I said maybe 2, but that I was visiting another dealership prior to this. I went to the dealership making it very clear I had an open bankruptcy and anything that needed to be done ahead of time would trump purchasing the SUV I chose. I was assured by Hadim the dealer and Mark the person who handled the financing and paperwork that they "did these deals all the time and all the proper paperwork would be filed." Fast forward to today over a month after said deal and nothing was "taken care of." Because I made the foolish mistake of trusting this dealership out of desperation and need for a vehicle, I took a shortcut. Now they are deaf, dumb and stupid assuring me that they don't handle this and the bank who financed the loan does. I called them and they stated they don't do any of that paperwork so not sure why the dealership would inform me of that. So now I'm in jeopardy of not only having my bankruptcy dismissed, but having to surrender this car with a new loan issued that I was lied to and told it was "taken care of." I scheduled an appointment to test drive and purchase a car for my daughter at their Glen Burnie location. I responded to multiple texts to confirm our appointment. We showed up on time only to be told the car we were interested in was sold 10 minutes before we arrived. Imagine the disappointment of a 23 year old hoping to drive this car home. We were offered an almost identical car that was a year older for $200 less than the car we were interested in originally. This car was in Virginia and we would have to wait to have it delivered. Our complaint was that 2020 model we were offered should be valued much lower than $200 than the 2021 model we intended to purchase. Considering our experience thus far we asked if the price on the offered car was negotiable and were told a resounding "No". The salesman we dealt with was more than apologetic and receives high marks but apparently his arms were tied. To add insult to injury, I received a text an hour later asking if I still intended to keep my appointment! This dealership has the worst customer service by far in my 40+ buying and leasing cars experience. The managers, sales, finance, and general manager were all to call back with solutions for an approved loan that needed to be applied to my vehicle of choice. They all lied! No reasonable times for call backs and when they did it was on a Friday night to take place the very next day! Unfortunately, I had late night family emergency so I needed a week to resolve $400 shortfall. General Mgr. Calls the next day and I explained the matter. He said car wouldn't be there in a week and hung up phone. Now mind you I have bought many cars over the past 40+ years and he had no solution for $400 shortfall (ie., postdated check, hold check, delayed $400 credit, "we owe slip", Nada! Purchased an Audi in June 2024 with 1 key, but Easterns called and offered an additional key. Finally, after 6 months of dealing with Easterns (Craig Dewey) and their vendor, an appointment was scheduled for 12/2/2024 at 3pm at Easterns. After 5 hours of the vendor attempting to program the new key, not only was he not successful, he also rendered my original key inoperable. About 11:30 pm, still with no success, it seemed the vendor was doing more damage to the car. Due to the hour, the vendor rented a car for me to drive home and the car was then towed to an Audi dealership, where a new key was ordered and the key programming was successful. That evening, Craig only offered me a hotel room or a ride home, not considering I still needed to get to work the following day. Audi charged $600 (for the key and programming). Easterns vendor paid Audi for the programing only, leaving a $430 balance that Craig from Easterns refused to pay. Unfortunately, my husband and I had to pay that balance in order to retrieve our car. Not to mention that only 2 months after purchasing the car, sensors started going off. This ended up being a $3000 repair, that the Audi dealership explained to us and to Craig (via email & phone) that the repair was due to sitting water and corrosion that had to have been there months before we purchased. I have attempted to reach out to Easterns (Craig), and left many messages for other management, but I am either ignored or dismissed by Craig who continues to say "Easterns is not responsible... we are not in the key business", but Easterns offered an additional key and exclusively wanted to use their vendor. While my car was being repaired prior, I suggested just getting the key done with the Audi dealership, but Craig refused because he only wanted to use Easterns vendors. I recently purchased a used car from Easterns Automotive and am extremely dissatisfied with the experience. Here's what happened: 1. Misleading Information: I was informed that two tires were at 2/32 and two were at 5/32. In fact, all four were at 2/32. Additionally, the fact that the car had been smoked in was not disclosed. Instead, they masked the smell. 2. Brake Issues: The brakes were barely over the state inspection limit, meaning I will need to replace them by the end of the month. 3. Mechanical Problems: The front passenger strut is broken, and the rear defroster does not work. 4. Warranty Issues: I was told I had a 30-day, 1,000-mile warranty and that every car undergoes a rigorous inspection process. However, when I called to discuss these issues, no one returned my calls. When they finally did, they informed me that the car was sold "as is" and that I should contact the extended warranty company I had purchased coverage through. 5. Warranty Coverage Delays: When I contacted the warranty company, they told me that my information had not even been sent to them yet. Furthermore, they stated that the coverage does not start until 30 days after the purchase or 1,500 miles. Now I am left with a car that I cannot use, despite making payments on it. I've been talking with several rude people in that department with talking with food in their mouth, gum and smacking while conducting business. Messages that goes unresolved, just overall unprofessional. This is the Rosedale, Maryland location. I just want to receive my GAP INSURANCE as all paperwork has been received with no follow-up. I thought I was crazy for having an overall negative experience at this dealership. The reviews are so stellar from most people, though it looks like that is changing. I brought my family here to buy a car. The one thing I can say that's positive is their selection and pricing is better than most other dealerships in the area. I liked our sales person, he was personable enough. We went in to test drive an Acura SUV, which I didn't like. I'd driven a comparable Infiniti SUV in the past, so I knew I liked that one. They told me they had one they would drive over from their dealership 15 minutes away, I said great! I had my wife and two young children with me, who were all getting restless after waiting 20 minutes or so. I sent them on their way and settled in. Turns out, the vehicle they were bringing in was at their dealership 30 miles away, a 40+ minute drive without traffic. It took that vehicle over an hour and a half to get to the showroom. Deceitful? Yes. I still bought the car. We take a look at the car in the dark lot when it finally arrives, and to the naked eye everything appears fine. We go about our business and seal the deal. Now, the next day, we realize just how filthy the interior is. The car looks like the interior hasn't been cleaned in years. Grime gunked up in the crevices, gross. I went and got the interior detailed on my own dime for $200, solved that problem. The second day of ownership, the front license plate bracket breaks, so the plate just hangs freely from one screw. When I took it in to have them fix it, two days after purchase, the manager informs me that he might be able to order one for me. I had to actually tell him HE would have to foot that bill. Unbelievable. I won't even get into the dry rotted wiper blades, or other simple QA points that could be hit on a $28K vehicle. My last and perhaps biggest gripe is their key guy. I was told to get there any time after 1PM on a Monday to get a second key made, as I paid for key replacement in my contract. My car only came with 1 key, I wanted 2, that was their solution. I show up at 3, and am informed he has already left for the week. I work rotating shifts, I'm not able to get to a dealership within a 1 hour window on a Monday afternoon. I've owned the car months now, with only one key. If that had been the deal to begin with, sure, I wouldn't be too upset. My sales person didn't say anything about catching the elusive key guy on a Monday afternoon. He told me they would make me a key. Anyway, for anyone looking to buy a car here, I'd look elsewhere. Sure, the selection and pricing is decent. Anything outside of that leaves a lot to be desired. From the sales person to their management, they are deceitful, uncooperative, and unhelpful. Purchased a car from the Rosedale location a few weeks ago. It was sold to me with a few cosmetic issues which was fine. When the car was dropped off to me I was told it had a full tank of gas and was ready to go. I was given a quarter tank of gas and no washer fluid. Also noticed the factory spoiler was pealing back on the edges. A few days later the window broke and would not go up. Also the front bumper started popping off. One side was glued as an attempt to fix broken clips and the other side just popped out. I took the car back to the dealer. I was told they would not cover the bumper or spoiler because its cosmetic and how do they know if I'm not the one who damaged it. I was also told they may not cover the window either and had to put in a claim to get it fixed. Claim was approved and i dropped the car off. It took a little over a week to get the car back only to notice a long rubber mark going across the door of my white car. Still no top off on fluids and the car was covered in dirt. So far every experience iv had up to this point of purchasing the car has been infuriating. You spend all this money on a vehicle. Should be a higher standard or principle. Prior to completing the purchase I noticed a couple of issues with the car but was assured by my Customer Advisor the issues noted will be taken care of. The finance manager also made a note of the issue on the final paperwork and finally the sales manager asked me to obtain a quote which I obtained from the main dealer and provided to the Sales manager December 22nd. Easterns has now informed me they cannot cover the costs of the issues originally noticed prior to completing the purchase. To say this was a bad experience is an understatement. FRAUD - SCAM On April 17, 2017, I purchased my second vehicle from Eastern Motors, Pulaski Highway in Maryland. That was the best vehicle I've owned. Unfortunately, it was totaled in April 2023. I wanted to keep it and have it repaired, but was strongly discouraged because it had quarter-panel damage that was estimated over $9,700 to repair. I was told that quarter-panels can be tricky, and there was no guarantee it would be repaired to my satisfaction. Reluctantly, I gave in and gave the vehicle over to my insurance company. On May 25, 2023, my son and I went back to Eastern Motors in hopes of finding another Toyota Camry XLE. They didn't have a Camry XLE, but I found a Toyota Camry LE that I liked. The approval was quick, and within an hour we were e-signing documents with Charles. We both signed four or five documents, then we were given a copy of the CarFax, the LoJack booklet, and a tin box containing a flash drive that Charles said, held a copy of the contract. Over the next two weeks, I kept hearing a gushing sound when I was driving on the highway, so I took the vehicle to a collision center to have it evaluated. There I received confirmation of an undisclosed accident and given an estimate of $2,725 to repair it. I called Daryl (salesperson). I was told he was not available, so I copied the estimate and sent it to him, along with a short handwritten note. After a few days, I hadn't heard from him, so I called. We did speak, but he insisted the damage was "cosmetic". When I referred him to the damage appraisal from the collision center, he ignored that. I asked to speak with a supervisor. He sent me a number for Sam (supposedly his general manager). When I spoke with Sam, he referred to the damage as cosmetic also, but he said, he would speak with his boss and get back to me in a couple of days. To this day, I have never heard Sam's voice again. When I called, I've been told he was not in. I had tried to pull up the contract on my computer, but it wouldn't display anything. Finally, I went to Eastern Motors and requested a "copy of the paperwork we signed." I was given a Buyer's Order, two copies of the Safe Drive warranty. Since that time, I've found rain water inside the vehicle several times. I have to sit on plastic. The driver seat gets soaked, along with the inside roof and floor, because there are cracks in the quarter-panel and hood on the driver side. It was painted over, but after a few washes, the paint that covered the rust has come off and the damage is noticeable. I took it back to the collision center. This time, two managers looked at the vehicle. Their assessment was as follows: The vehicle was involved in an accident. The damage should have caused the vehicle to be considered a "Constructive Total Loss." Screws placed in the quarter-panel are "illegal" and should have never been placed. Cracks in the hood and quarter-panel were not repaired efficiently. The smell of mold/mildew is obvious and offensive when you open any door. There are issues with the frame around the driver-side wheel well. The passenger quarter-panel should be taken down and replaced. I waited to do a review to make sure I was giving an honest review. I bought the car in December from the Laurel location and everything seemed to be okay. However, first red flag was the fact that I wasn't listened to regarding my tags, that the registration needed to be transferred and that I didn't needed new tags due to being a disabled vet. I had to call to check on my registration close to the 60 day mark, only to be told that they called but my vm was full. never followed up. I has to go to the MVA myself to get it fixed and had to pay for the correction. Now, after having the vehicle not even 90 days, I have to replace all 4 rotors. Unacceptable by any means. Did an application online for credit and was completely honest about my credit, trade in, and money down. Before I went to the dealership I responded to their messages and said I would only go in if I was approved. I was told to come in after that. The salesman said we can not get anywhere close to the payment quoted and they would need more money down. Oh wait, I was never approved online. I will make my story short, however it is a long story, I went to Eastern about two weeks ago to buy a car I saw on line. Once I saw the car It did not fit our budget. We looked at a couple other cars. I was not happy with any of them. After a few mins of chatting with my husband we decided on a car. I Completed the transaction. Three days later car engine light came on, noise on left tire. All in all car was a lemon. Called Anthony our sales person, he was about as dumb as they come. he sent us to Kevin, General Manager. I needed an affordable minivan and Easterns had several Grand Caravans available so I bought one. After much of the typical empty promises of guaranteed financing I got stuck with the highest interest rate allowed AND a minivan that was never "CERTIFIED" as they claim all of their vehicles to be. The vehicle needed MAJOR repairs, $700 of which I got stuck with even though it was under their 1,000 mile warranty because it stranded me and I needed it fixed asap. My trusted mechanic found a cracked flexplate and encouraged me to take it back to Easterns for that repair. They did give me a loaner vehicle (shocking) but 2 months later, they returned the minivan to me repaired but with the front bumper damaged and different tires on the van! I was and still am so furious but I won't win the fight with them and am sick of the drama and loss. They won't refund the $700 repair or acknowledge the damage on the van because I picked it up in a hurry in the pouring rain and didn't check for body damage or the tire discrepancy.
