I'm sorry.. this place far exceeded my expectations as a repair shop. They are terribly friendly and very efficient. They have always been great to me and had any repairs done in minimal time and at a reasonable price. I had many oil changes done here too. I was skeptical at first, but I really like these guys now. :) I highly recommend this shop! read more

These guys are awesome! They're fast, honest and reliable! I would definitely recommend especially if you are a female who wants to go somewhere and not worry about being taken advantage of! While you're there, say what's up to Keenan and the guys for me! Tell them I sent you ;) read more

These guys are great for the MA State Inspection stickers. I've gone two years in a row and they've been super nice and speedy (no appointment necessary, either). Recommended! read more

I called to see if I needed an appointment to get my car inspected and the gentleman who answered the phone was very pleasant and said that no appointment was necessary. I drove over a few hours later and was helped immediately. I interacted with 3 different men while there and they were all very nice to deal with. I dropped my car off for an inspection but at the last minute I asked if they would also change my oil. They said no problem and recommended I grab a coffee. By the time I walked down to the Dunkin' Donuts and back to the Sunoco (the line was pretty long for coffee) my car was already taken care of. I was gone maybe 20-25minutes. Quick service, pleasant people, AND A GREAT PRICE! read more

Mike and his team are just plain awesome. We've been going there for years. I have a '99 Corolla that I just want to keep safe and running, so if you're looking for honest pragmatic advice, this is the place. I can't thank them enough for dealing with our insurance company, who dragged their feet for weeks on a claim. (Don't get me started about Arbella, horrible company.) Mike was patient throughout the entire process and even refused a tip! My pride was hurt :), but once again I was thoroughly impressed with their integrity. Keep up the great work! read more

Pretty quick for inspection, only had to wait about 15 minutes. Guy behind counter(Keenan) was nice. I told him I had a Volvo and he jokingly said "well so then you pay double." read more

Have had these guys work on my car a few times - registration, oil change, tire change, fix a headlight, nothing major - and they are always quick and professional. They make sure to keep me in the loop and confirm work before they start. Awesome! read more

I went here for a state inspection and was in and out in less than 15 minutes. The mechanics were friendly both with me and with another guy there having his muffler looked at. I'll definitely go back for my next inspection. read more

State Inspections until 5:30 M-F. I got in around 5:15 and they had no issues with seeing me. Took a maybe 15 minutes and I was on my way. Friendly staff! I generally hate doing anything car related but they made it painless!! read more

i love mel and the guys! we take both our cars to them and are always happy with the results. when i was buying my current used car, mel looked at if for me and even drove around with me to check it out - no charge. another time he saved me a bundle by patching a tire instead of telling me i needed a new one. i won't go anywhere else! read more

This place is great! Fast service and courteous staff. I had my state inspection done and it took less than 15 minutes. Will definitely be back. read more

this place is the perfect place for inspections and car repairs They are very reasonably priced and efficient I strongly recommend this place read more

I started taking my car here for inspections and oil changes because it is close to my house. I am writing this review because more recently, my car broke down and I had major repairs done. I have an older, high mileage car that is slowly reaching the end. It could easily look like money with wheels to any repair shop. However, this shop's staff did not push for a service or repair beyond what is safe and makes sense for a car its age and mileage. They walked me through each of the charges and explained in plain terms what had to be done. I also second what others have said positively about the customer service! read more

5 star service. These guys are super accommodating. I've gone in a couple times ranging from inspections, getting new tires put on, checking out the causes of check lights and so on. they're pretty efficient at their work flow and i've always been in and out fairly quickly. i've gone in with price quotes for work done at other places (unbeknownst to them) and these guys have always quoted me lower rates for both product and work rates. for that reason, i always try and go to their shop whenever i need something done to my car. to the guy who gave a one star review for an extremely high price on an inspection, they were clearly joking around with you. dont be a dummy. read more

This IS THE place to go,anywhere out of the Broadway shops...Super cheap gas,and Mike and his mechanics are honest, prompt, thorough, and more than Reasonable..STAY AWAY from that station at 583 Broadway, down the street...begins with a G and ends with a F..stick with the Sunoco, unless you want a 1000 dollar ++ bill,at Frankies H-side G--F... ..thanks Mike..you guys have always been great to me,and my family..Honesty does pay... read more

I went for an inspection and the guys were very courteous and efficient. They went out of their way to help me remove some old parking stickers that were on my car. I'm definitely going back! read more

I have to admit, I did not come here for anything life altering--just a flat tire and an oil change. After calling around to five other shops before this, the man who answered the phone was by far the friendliest and as luck would have it also quoted the lowest prices. I was told I did not need an appointment, which he explained was standard for work that does not require parts, I showed up the following day and was in and out within an hour. Unfortunately for me, the problem with my tire was sensor related, however, the mechanic took the time to show me what the problem was, gave me the pros and cons of potential solutions, and let me choose how I wanted to address the problem. read more

Love these guys. I'm so terrible at making appointments, its never even something that occurs to me. I usually pull up when I'm passing by and ask if they have time for an oil change or when might be a good time and they've always taken me right away. I went there the other day because my back right blinker was out and whenever I put on my right blinker it was like "clikaclikaclikaclikaclika" instead of "clack..clack..clack", which is unsettling, but I've only ever changed these things myself with my friends and you never know how much these car things will cost or how long it will take to do them, so I was putting it off. Pulled in here to ask about it and the guy says "$250, we can do it right now." That guy loves to mess with me. I was like "No really." and he's like "$10, we can do it right now." I had to get to work soon and they did it right then with time to spare. Another reviewer said the guy reminded her of a Seinfeld character and I've always thought the same, lol. I also went in once because something under my car was squeaky and both my mom and boyfriend always mention it when they're in my car. It sounded fine to me, but I finally brought it in and they took me right away, got the car up on the giant jack thing and commenced shoving it around and searching for the noise. It ended up being some curve of pipe that was supposed to be secured but the attachment was rusted away and it was bouncing around a bit. They put a clamp on it and it was so cheap I can't recall whether they charged me at all. Yay, love it here, read more

These guys are an excellent local mechanic. I mostly go for state inspections (which take no more than 15 minutes while they check out everything on the car), but I've also gone for a couple minor issues with one of my older cars. I had a dash light on, they told me the exact sensor that had failed and asked if I wanted them to replace it. Since I know something about cars, and this was an easily accessible sensor, I said no, and I would take care of it. Any other place does the work and then says "oh yeah, you owe us this much. I then took the car to have some shocks put in. Fair price and fast service. I highly recommend these guys and the head guy Mel takes care of you. I recommend giving the guy who works on the car a tip if you agree that the service is excellent. read more

Went there for an inspection today. They got it done before I could walk to the 7-11 a block away and get a coffee.

My husband went on wednesday around 5 pm, to fixed a flat tire. They " FIXED" in about 15 minutes. We came back home, around 8 pm, my husband notice the tire was flat again. So he change the tire again, and went back to the gas station. The guy who was there told him to dont worry about. I will call you tomorrow. On the next day, the guy called him to tell him the tire had a small cut on the side and nothing they can do about. My husband went back to get the tire and ask for his money back, because they did not fixed the tire. The guy wont give his money back. Too bad for him, because he losted a good customer. My husband used to put gas on his car twice a week, and me, least once. We will never go back there. read more

I second the review of Will S. Most of the time they don't even charge me. They have saved me so many times--this summer they fixed a tire that exploded on the highway. Recently I had a pesky electrical issue that was impossible to diagnose and I can't believe I was actually arguing with them to let me pay! This has never happened to me before. read more

I went in to get my car re-tested after failing inspection. I didn't realize you had to go back to the station where you had your original test done for it to be free. Neither did the technician at this Sunoco station that inspected my car. He told me I owed the fee because I only get 60 days to get my re-test done. I told him I was well within the 60 days for my re-test. When we went inside to discuss, another worker said it was because I didn't go to the original station. I told him I was unaware of that and that the technician could've asked when I first brought it in. He said it would be a courtesy but he doesn't have to do it. I guess courtesy is not part of his business ethic. The technician wouldn't have done it anyway since he didn't even know it was the rule. If you want a place that sees courtesy as part of their process, this is not it. read more
