Yesterday, I started a project with zero planning and preparation (isn't that how it goes?) and midway through, I realized I needed to run to Ace for silicone sealant and to figure out how to modify my plumbing to convert a double-basin, double drain to a single. I was in and out in no time with the right stuff and had the sink installed and water flowing again in no time. I love this place specifically for the friendly faces who are always willing to help and actually know stuff. The Ace Rewards program and app are also great. When I'm not flying by the seat of my pants on DIY projects, I earn airline miles through the AA Shopping site when I order ahead online for pickup. Being in the mountains, things can get pricey, but I appreciate the fairly reasonable prices on the necessities here.

Anne is another favorite, if you need paint, she's the one you want to work with! This Ace has a private parking lot and is less crazy than the other Ace by state line. Cons- it is smaller than the other Ace, so they don't have as many items. That means, depending on what you're doing, you may want to call to ensure they have what you need.
