Haven't been able to confirm whether they're locally owned or not. I've been in a few times before reviewing, once just to check it out (as it appears lots of folks are doing - foot traffic has been fairly heavy for a small town, smallish footprint shop), twice to pick up items on my way home from my office, and once to take advantage of their BOGO interior Valspar paint deal (available until 3/21!) For a smallish, though typical Ace-sized store, they cover the basics well. I've found what I needed for minor electrical repairs, heavy duty cleaning products, a couple of replacement fasteners, odd-shaped light bulbs, and a couple of yard cleanup tools. They are definitely in "opening" mode, with staff still training, but what they may lack in know-how, they make up for in friendliness and trying to provide a level of customer service you don't get elsewhere. I've watched them take their time to talk to customers about their specific needs and make product recommendations, as well as reminding folks buying, say, paint, to take a look at specific areas for project accessories. I appreciate their help not forgetting the little things that make home improvement projects turn out better, quicker, or less messy. Store is well-organized, new, and all of my items have had shelf prices that matched their scanned price, including no problems with special offers or Ace coupons. On the downside, not affecting my rating, but just a general warning: while the location is convenient for those who live in Etown city limits, there's no avoiding the terrible drivers that seem to plague this particular strip mall. The number of times I've watched drivers nearly plow into for-sale items on the walkway or stored (like mulch) in fenced areas of the parking lot is only matched by the number of times I've watched drivers nearly plow into actual human beings or other cars. Most of the lot "signage" (lines, and directional markings included) is only on asphalt and very faded, but that's no excuse for drivers who are completely oblivious to others, right of way, or how the properties of basic physics function on planet Earth.

Like all the other stores staff are helpful for finding some of the most popular tools around I've been lucky here because they had some of the tools that have become instant success and due to the internet YouTube reviewers and Reddit these tools go flying off the shelf. Make sure to sign up for the harbor tool email list. To get extra junk mail along with percentage off coupons and special discounts before the fliers hit the stores. I usually buy Pittsburgh level tools but I've recently started paying a little more for higher quality and finish of the icon level brands. 11/2024 Ambiance it's on a hill but the grade is fairly level. 4 Service fast curious 5 Location near the Sam's club 5 Value great deals a few times every month 5
