Tried to give another chance. Received a coupon in mail for standard oil change. Called and scheduled an appointment, was dropping off vehicle and stated we don't honor that. Customer Service was awful. Will not be using again read more

Exceptional service! Exceptional They treated me like I was a regular customer. We stopped because our trailer tire came apart. They took great care of me! All the staff was kind, respectful and courteous. read more

No one comes here because they want to or in a good mood. I left in a good mood. I'm in seminary right now so my dollars have to stretch and sometimes there isn't enough stretch to make things work. However, I was able to get tires on my car quickly and affordably (days before Christmas!!!). I've worked in the automotive industry and had a service department attached to where I worked that I would absolutely not recommend because they service writers were rude and took advantage of people if you didn't pay attention. The technicians did good work but it was a hurdle to get back to them even for a long-time employee like myself. It was so reassuring that someone would be helpful, kind, and quick. I would recommend them to anyone. read more

Shame, shame, shame! Needed to replace battery in my car this past weekend. After checking with several places, I was ok with the price. However, those places that I checked, offered "FREE" installation. "BIG O" wanted $100. Needless to say, they lost the sale and any future work that may be needed! read more

Fast, great service, highly recommended. Very knowledgeable, They've have my business from now on.

Big-Oh My! I've used this location for tire purchases over the past few years for several different vehicles. The prices have been very competitive and the experience each time has been OK. However, after my latest visit, I won't be going back. My wife had recently visited this location for a tire rotation. An employee of the store suggested to her that we use them for other services beyond tire service - such as oil changes. I have been going back to the Toyota dealer for my vehicle maintenance (namely oil changes). The dealer has been charging over $125 for a full synthetic- which is what my car requires. This location said they could do it for ~$75. I thought, for a $50 savings, let's give it a try! Boy would I regret that! I called to make an appointment and was told to just "bring it in and we'll fit you in"...and so I did. My adventure began when I arrived and stood in line. I was the only person in line. NO ONE else in line mind you. I stood in line for 15 minutes while two employees looked up at my occasionally and said "be with you in a minute" and continued making phone calls. I was patient and just kept staring "ok, thanks". I had thought quietly to myself "at least they are good about calling their customers..." (foreshadowing)... Eventually I turned over my keys, gave my info and was told "we will call when it's ready". This was at 1pm. They close at 6pm. At 5:45, I called them and asked if my car would be ready today. They said "we will get it done." "What time do you close?" I asked. "6pm," they replied. "Ok, I'll head there now" I arrived at 6pm on the dot and waited a few minutes - no one was inside. Eventually someone came and informed me that my brakes were in desperate need of service. I was informed that the rear brakes were only 3mm. I replied "that's interesting because I just had new brake pads installed a few months ago" - and I did! I had recently taken my car to my very reliable, long time mechanic who is trustworthy and does great work. He replied, "oh...well, maybe he just couldn't get the tool in there to measure them." Not sure if they really did a bad job of measuring the pads, got vehicles confused or were trying to scam me. I don't know. But they were dead wrong about my brakes. I paid and left to retrieve my car, only to find a 12 to 14 inch scratch down the side of my driver's side door! (See photo). This was absolutely not there when I dropped off the car. I went back in, waited a few more minutes and calmly told the employee what I found and said "I know there is nothing you can do about it now, but I just wanted you to know that someone scratched my drivers door." He was polite and came outside, took a photo and asked me to come back tomorrow and he'd try to take care of it. I said "thank you, I just wanted to let you know because this really shouldn't happen" There's no way I'm going back there! read more

Big O Tires - Scratch of drivers door from recent service - Auto Repair Near Me - Hillview, Kentucky

I went into Big O for a low tire asking for it to be plugged. The customer service representative indicated they could not plug the tire because it was worn too much. I ended up agreeing with him and decided to buy all new tires. After they got my vehicle up on the rack, the CSR told me I needed brakes and struts and that they was a leak associated with them. Cost was going to be about 3k. I couldn't believe my vehicle was having this issue since it only had 40k miles. I called a family member and he suggested I just get the tires and he would take a look at my brakes and struts. I followed his recommendation and he took my vehicle to the shop the next day. There was no leak and I did not need brakes or struts. My family member has been in the automotive servicing for over 30 years. If you are searching for a tire place, i would suggest you find someone else besides Big O. They try to take advantage of people who may not be automotive savvy. I will never use them or recommend them to anyone. Happy hunting. read more

Been waiting over 2 hours for just an oil change. Not the same as when previously here under different management

I was in a tire situation and decided to replace all 4, their sales team got me the correct tires, got them installed, hooked me up with financing too, I even had it aligned and my oil change too, I shopped around before stopping there and the price was literally a fraction of what their nearest competitor was and I wasn't treated like I was bothering them when I came in, very warm customer service, I will go nowhere else from now on read more

Be going there for 15 years. Since the management change staff, their service is really bad. They broke my oil pan flap and put a zip toe on it. Had 179000 miles at oil change. The put 22159 as my next oil change mileage due. Big O lost me as a customer. Had tires and ahoxk replace. They left oil hand prints in all overly white car and the steering wheel was greasy. Never again will use Big I for my car service. read more

Ever since Tim left, this place has gone down hill. Bought tires from them 2.5 years ago, 50k mile tires... don't even have 30k miles on them and they're telling me I need new tires... I've went 3 times to get tires rotated and balanced as well as tires pressure fixed.... All 3 times they have not fixed my tire pressure.... Don't recommend this location. read more

Big O Tires - BigOTires - Auto Repair Near Me - Hillview, Kentucky

I visit the store at Hillview Kentucky regularly and always get there one half hour before they open because I am fighting a cancer problem and have radiation treatments every day. On Monday November 11, 2024 I was greeted by your new manager of 4 days Dalton Hatfield and told him my hospital situation and he had two of the air checking devices on the inside of the tires replaced and I was gone in 30 minutes. He also checked all the filters and the wipers and I needed two filters but did not have the money after doing the other work, but replaced them the next week when I got paid. Dalton went way over and beyond what was necessary that day for me, I believe he will make an excellent manager if you give him time to work in to it. Thanks to Dalton and Big O for all your great service. Roger Bruton read more

I would like to begin by saying, this review is long overdue!!! I will go nowhere else for my auto repairs, PERIOD!!! Last year, I abruptly decided to walk away from a reputable company who, for years, serviced our cars! I had reached my limit of poor customer service, mistakes, and unprofessional employees. I contacted Big O Tires, after showing up to this "reputable" company for an oil change, only to read a handmade sign that read, "...we are closed due to short staffing." I was furious because this happened frequently. So, I called Big O Tires and spoke to one of the representatives, who invited me in for an immediate oil change! I was blown away at the customer service and their speediness! I decided this is my store for all auto repairs. Yesterday, I called and spoke to Mr. Larry, the general manager, and requested a specific service. He replied 'we don't normally do this type of service, but come on in and I'll take a look at it.' Well, needless to say he made it happen and I'm back on the road again!! I would like to offer my appreciation to all staff at Big O Tires (i.e. 268 Mkt Place Drive)!! You are awesome!! For those looking for the "ol school" customer service, speediness, and best prices, visit these guys and gals! I promise, they'll treat you right!!! Janice read more

This review is strictly for the Hillview location - I know other Big O's are owned by different folks. I make the trip all the way down from the Highlands because they are the only people in town I trust with tires! I purchased 4 tires from them a few years back, and recently dropped in with a slow leak in one tire. They are always busy, and I didn't have an appointment, but I was in and out in under 45 minutes. The employees are super friendly and while I waited in the showroom (very comfortable chairs and a TV to watch) I was asked multiple times if I needed anything or which car was mine and given updates. It turned out to be a hole from a nail, completely fixable, and I was on my way with no cost!!! If you need to have a tire repaired, are interested in getting new tires or having a tire emergency, I can't say enough good things about this Big O! Give them a call or just head on down. read more

Big O Tires - Tires - Auto Repair Near Me - Hillview, Kentucky

Had a flat tire in the morning. When I realized I needed a tow for a new tire, I called and they said I could get towed there. They have lots of parking on almost all sides of the building with plenty of room for a tow truck to navigate. They started work on the tire immediately and were able to save it with a patch (it had a nail in it and luckily was in good enough shape to keep going). It's good as new. We went to pay and Patrick mentioned THEY REPAIR FLATS FOR FREE. We about almost cried. Obviously I'm leaving a review. They're a full service shop so I'll definitely check out coming here for our next maintenance. It's a lot closer to our home than Toyota dealership too. read more

Went here to get a tire rotated out. The older guy at the counter when I walked up said "yes". I said hi. He was busy typing and looking at the computer screen so I waited for him to finish. He looked up again and this time with a snarky "yes". No hi or can I help you. I told him what I wanted and in a smart ass remark and attitude he said it's going to be 45 minutes. I told him no thanks and walked out. Customer service at this location I would never spend my money. read more

We have been going to this location for so many years now I can't imagine. Tim and Missy are the best!!! Talk about a team that works great and knows their stuff. They walk you out to your car and make sure all is good. Never had anything but professional and honest interactions here, which is why we will frequent this location over all others. read more

Paid them a visit to address a leaky tire. Staff was friendly overall. However, I was blatantly lied to by one of the workers who I assume wanted to sell me a new tire. They claimed the affected tire had two unrepairable nails in it. I declined since my warranty would cover the replacement. Well, when the dealer had a chance to diagnose the tire, they found that the valve stem needed to be replaced and that there were no nails... read more

I set an appointment up today for 2 new tires to be put on my car. They didn`t have the tires in stock , so they had to order them. Well their warehouse didn`t have them in stock and they were back ordered. Would it not be a better policy when the appointment was made on line, like mine was , that they would be able to have the ability to tell you if the tires you had picked and that you were expecting to be there were available or not. read more

This place used to be pretty good but it's been steadily going downhill for the last couple years, especially the last year. They're incredibly slow. I can get there at the crack of dawn when the doors open and still take over an hour for an oil change and tire rotation. I've been regularly getting brakes checked every 6k miles for the last 18k miles. One visit I'm told brakes are good. 6k later they're completely gone, front AND back. 300 bucks per axle. Bought tires from them 30k miles ago, supposed to be 50k mile tires. Got regular rotations. At 30k they tell me they're gone and start pricing me for $400 set of tires. Was going there mostly for the free rotations but I'll go down to Valvoline and pay $20 for a rotation and be out in 15 minutes with an oil change. read more

This place is constantly busy, but the employees here are very welcome and friendly. I've been here a couple of times and I've always left satisfied. Depending on what you need to have fixed or done, you most likely will need to wait on your car, but I can tell they service and get back to you as quickly as they can. I highly recommend the Hillview Big O Tires for your car needs, especially when you're in the area. read more
