The last time I floated was before COVID, so it's been a while. This location is decent, but I found the actual pods to be just okay. As a tall person, I found it hard to find a position in the pod where I wasn't touching one of the sides. To get that real free floating experience, you really need to float free of anything touching your body. I have definitely floated in larger pods. Plus, here the water is kept after each person and only the epsom salt and purifiers are added, at other float spas they completely flush the water after each client. The 'lobby' was small and not as inviting as it could have been, you know to get you in the mood for your float. The staff however was great and super helpful, but this spa makes you go thru a bunch of forms and videos before you float, so come early, at least 20 minutes. After the float, once again, not much of a cool down space (just the same entry lobby) and the so called oxygen bar is little more than a mild version of aroma therapy in a tube for your nose. I am a complete advocate of floating and all the benefits it has for your body and mind, but I can't really recommend this place, there have got to be better float spas in the San Diego area.

Seriously terrible customer service. Answer your phones! And then when you text with people and then stopped replying because they have a Groupon maybe you should remove your Groupon. Maybe you shouldn't sell it if you don't want to book people who have Groupons. It is totally your choice to choose to sell Groupon. But you should honor them and treat customers with respect and actually call when you say you're going to...all of a sudden you have to book 2 hours in advance with a Groupon? Well then why did offer me a 1 p.m. appt at 10:57am.... it WAS 2 hours in advance until you found out I have a Groupon. I'll never go here! Taking my business elsewhere.

I am a Vet and wanted to try it out on Veteran's Day since this happens to be my only day off in 17 days (two jobs). I tried to call but they don't answer. The claim to call people back throughout the day in their message... Then when you hang up, an automated text message is sent. I attached a screen shot... I called October 30th to book an appointment on November 11. The text said: "I have forwarded your message to the front desk, they'll get in touch with you as soon as possible" No call, no nothing. Today is November 7 and I called to try to book again. Would have tried again sooner, but been working doubles the last 4 days.. Same thing. When I tried to book online, it said first available is November 12! They never contacted me. This place ... now I don't even want to try Float spa. Ruined the idea. Back to acupuncture and massages. Disappointed. I gave One star since I don't have much to go on. Maybe if I was actually able to book an appt, or at least speak to a real person, I could give more stars for some type of friendliness or customer service experience. Unfortunately, all I got was some pre-programmer text message with no follow up or anything.

A M A Z I N G! I've driven by the building many times and have been interested in checking it out but never did. I'm so happy I finally scheduled a float and so happy with the entire experience at this location. Today was my 5th float in three weeks and the results have been amazing. I can't say enough about the experience. You get a private room with a door that locks. The room has the pod, shower, and dressing area. The shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and lotion all smell so good. Once you're in the pod, you can select what color light you want in the pod or you can turn off the light. You can also leave the pod open, closed, or cracked open a little bit. Every single person I've interacted with have been very helpful and professional. I highly recommend this location. I can't wait to schedule my next float. Plus, there's an oxygen bar.

First time visitor. I went in knowing meditation is not my strong suit so I anticipated only staying in half the time. Staff and environment were really chill. We were there very early and they were kind enough to let us start early. The pod is huge and super comfortable to float in. I'm really not claustrophobic but the pitch black, ear plugs in, no music playing really got to me. I ended up putting in the towel to crack the pod and that helped with the feeling of being free and getting a cool breeze. The room was blazing for me but only 83. Love the private showers before and after. Loved the oxygen bar after. I left feeling refreshed and chill. My friend left feeling like a new person hah. She ended up buying a membership she liked it so much

So I actually had not heard of float therapy until I saw a Groupon ad for it. It sounded interesting so I decided to look more into it. I looked up places in San Diego that offered them and checked out all their websites. I read the FAQs and watched at least a good 10 videos on YouTube about the benefits. A couple of days after my research, I found that I wanted to try a float session at True REST given their awesome reviews and detailed website. Right before I was going to purchase, I decided to look on Groupon to see if there was a deal for this specific place, and there WAS! Woo hoo! If it's your first time, I recommend checking there first. I scheduled an appointment very easily, with a friendly staff over the phone. She answered my remaining questions I had and I felt very safe about giving it a try, even though we're in the middle of this covid outbreak. I showed up early on my appointment date and after going around the block a couple of times, I finally found the entrance to the parking structure. I couldn't see the address so I struggled a bit to find a logo or sign to point me in the right direction. Once inside I was pleasantly surprised at the welcoming atmosphere and the friendliness of the staff member who helped me out. I filled a couple of forms on an iPad that was wiped down, and the staff member was wearing a face mask and gloves. I went into the room to watch the video for first timers, and then was shown to my pod room. The room had its own shower inside, and a lock on the room door for your privacy. You are asked to shower (avoid conditioner) before entering the pod. Once I stepped in and sat down, I was amazed at how effortlessly my legs were sort of just floating up on their own. I laid back and I did struggle a bit to find the most comfortable position for me. I would say about 20 minutes in is when I finally started to relax a bit more. The hour session went by quickly, but it was such an amazing experience. It was really nice to have an hour to dedicate to myself, and relax without worrying about anything else going on. I enjoyed it so much, that I signed up for a monthly membership and I'm looking forward to trying it at least 2 more times, so I can fully experience the benefits of the float therapy and go in with the knowledge of exactly what to expect. Also the night of my appointment, I really slept like a baby. I totally recommend this place and give it 10/10!

Loved the experience coming in! The employees are so nice and friendly I always come in after a workout to help my sore muscles feel better and after I leave feeling great and ready to go to bed!

    Spacious float pods!

I had my first float today and it was incredible! Starting with the easy booking with Mandy and then my tour from Caleb- the entire process was smooth and welcoming. The facility is beautiful and it feels like a spa. The private rooms are very spacious, with their own showers, and the pods themselves are much larger than I anticipated. I like that they ease you into the float with some music and light (which you can turn off). It truly is a surreal feeling being that buoyant! Very hard to explain... After the float I felt soooo relaxed- I honestly had no idea what to expect and I was very surprised to feel THAT good. I ended my session with a little time at the oxygen bar and walked, literally FLOATED, out of there. My coworker commented on how completely relaxed and refreshed I looked when she saw me right after. I recommend this place to everyone and anyone! You will be taken care of and I'm sure you will have an experience as wonderful as mine!

Well in middle-age, floating has been a necessary and therapeutic service that allows me to continue to stay active, reduce stress, and recover. Upon my last visit, I was informed of the new contrast service. I have never cold plunged before. I regularly utilize the cryo tank at least 4 times a year, so I thought why not? I was a little nervous, but the contrast room has the perfect aesthetic, and the combination of the dry sauna and cold plunge was AMAZING! The cold plunge is not for the faint at heart, but after researching the many benefits, well worth it! After my session, I immediately felt the differences. My body is still reaping the benefits well in 48 hours. I floated first, then did the contrast. For me, my dream recovery and refocus services for mind, body, and spirit! Great job, Float State! My only small disappointment, I miss the old staff and their genuine rapport and personalities. When I came in, they new my name and I felt like family. Now, I just feel like a number. No one is rude or unpleasant, their body language and conversation is just low effort. There are a couple of individuals I know by name, but the enthusiasm isn't the same. Like I said, this is relatively small and by no means takes away from the experience.
