I came in for a buccal massage and agree with the previous reviewer. Even at the promotional price after tip you're out almost $200 for 90 minute appointment, almost than half of which is just laying there alone. I came in ten minutes early, and was shown to a room at the time my appointment was to start and left there alone for several minutes. She returned about ten minutes later and started washing my face, by which time I am 15 minutes into my allotted 90 minutes appointment. The buccal massage lasted about ten minutes, and her nails were too long for it to be comfortable - it was like someone took a butter knife and used the tip to scrape along the side of my mouth. Then she rubbed my face a little, not a lifting or sculpting massage as she claimed it would be, used an electric roller on my face for probably 20 minutes (really not sure what it was supposed to do, though it did feel relaxing), and then left me under a red light for 30 minutes! At this time it was five minutes after my appointment should have ended so I got out from under the light, got dressed, and showed myself out. She was sitting at the front desk scrolling her phone. Assuming she intended to go past the end of my appointment time to make up for the late start, that means this $164 promotional pricing for a 90 minute buccal massage actually just includes a ten minute massage followed by 40 minutes of laying under a red light panel??? read more

Extremely disappointed and will not be back. The girl was nice but at the price point it was definitely not worth it and I will not be back. What I received today at my appt was not a proper buccal massage. I was extremely disappointed to even pay the promo price of $164. All she did was put her thumb in my mouth and stretch it out for about five minutes. She didn't do a buccal massage at all whatsoever. I don't know why the company is advertising this as a buccal massage. She only put her finger in my mouth and stretched it as far back as she could with no massage technique whatsoever. I was expecting an actual buccal "massage" not just a finger pulling and stretching the inside of my mouth. I have previously had several buccal massages at Professional places (Bonnie Cruz and Mo at Heal Thy Goddess). I can't believe I was charged $164 for what I received from the girl at your spa. I will not be back. She needs to be properly trained on how to do a buccal massage. She didn't seem like she knew what she was doing and needs to trained or retrained. What I received today was not a buccal massage. I don't even know if you can call what I received today a facial. She only used a cleanser and a cream at the end. I have been to Unique Spa house twice. The first time was for a lymphatic massage that ended up being just a regular massage, and I was shorted 5 minutes. The therapist was very nice, but if I am paying for something, I want to receive what I'm paying for. The owner, Ekaterina, reached out to me after my massage to see how it went, and I politely told her what had happened. I wasn't going to proactively tell her because I still got a massage, and the therapist was extraordinarily sweet. But, the owner felt so badly that she offered to correct my first impression by offering a complimentary lymphatic massage by her. I took her up on it, and she was amazing. Ekaterina knows what she's doing and really takes pride in ensuring you enjoy your experiences. The building is a bit run down, so this isn't a "Ritz Carlton experience," but everything is clean and thoughtfully prepared for you. My favorite part... if you ask to come 30 minutes early, you can use their IR dry sauna as a complimentary service to warm up your muscles before the massage. I love this. They also have really fair specials on their services, and I love the way Ekaterina runs her business. Definitely worth a try and I suggest booking with the owner on your first go. read more

I was really looking forward to my lymphatic massage but the overall experience was disappointing. Although I arrived early as suggested, my session started 15 minutes late. Also, the person I had selected for my massage wasn't the one who performed it, which was a bit unsettling - I would have preferred the option to reschedule with the person I originally selected. The massage itself was just okay, nothing special, and the ambiance was lacking. When I entered the room, there was no calming music like what you typically expect at a spa. The masseuse eventually played music from her phone but it was a bit distracting because it would buzz anytime she'd get a call or text since it wasn't on vibrate. Then about 30-mins into the message, the phone died and the rest of my massage was in silence before I turned over on my back. The facial portion was underwhelming and felt more like light touching than an actual lymphatic massage. It also didn't last anywhere near the 40 mins as advertised. Communication was difficult as the masseuse didn't speak English so I wasn't able to express my concerns. I was left alone in silence multiple times, including during the 15-minute facial mask. Overall, the experience felt unprofessional and was far from enjoyable. I won't be returning. read more

I got a free non surgical face lift treatment I see on FB. I arrived early, greeted by Arthur, since I was early I was asked to wait either inside their waiting area or outside waiting area, I chose outside. It is a very relaxing nice spot to wait. Arthur came to get me, to start the session, I actually thought someone else was going to do the treatment as he was the one who greeted me and said the other person was busy with a client but he ended up treating me. He was very nice and explained everything he was doing. I did however felt like the process went rather fast...more like a wax on wax off kinda thing(if ya know ya know). It didn't feel like a facial massage but just rubbing the product in. The info red part for 30 mins was relaxing after that was a wipe off thing and then the pitch about purchasing a bundle treatment and the products you can get free(only if ordered within 24hrs) . The place didn't seem dirty and I would've taken interior photos but honestly I wasn't left alone and when I was, I was under the info red light gadget and my eyes were covered. Now I honestly didn't expect much results in a one time visit but it was a good experience to get to review the place. I did however see a reduction in my pores, that's a plus. I just don't think I would pay a high free for the service. Though the service was free I did leave a tip. Would I recommend this place... I mean the people skills is there but I actually thought more of a facial massage rubbing the ingredients/products in would've been a Yes but the wax on wax off version leaves me conflicted between maybe & no. I just had to write a review about my amazing experience. As a mom of toddlers, time for myself is extremely hard to come by, and I haven't been great about my self care. So, I'm making steps to try to change that. I'm so happy I found Unique Spa House. I booked a lymphatic drainage massage. Though I'm a fan of massages and have gotten many through the years, I've never done a lymphatic massage specifically. I arrived very earlier and was immediately greeted very kindly and told my massage therapist would be with me soon. The owner also greeted me very kindly. Closer to my appointment time, Olga introduced herself and offered some water. She promptly took me back to the massage room. I was offered a bra and bikini type cover and given time to put them on before she came back in to begin the service. It was PHENOMENAL. The pressure was deliberate, but not at all painful or uncomfortable in any way. I was so relaxed at certain points, I felt myself falling asleep. I genuinely haven't felt that relaxed since before having kids, I almost wanted to cry tears of joy! I felt amazing afterward. Olga did a phenomenal job, and I would definitely book a lymphatic massage here again. The owner really has created an amazing spa space, I'm looking forward to coming back and trying other services!
