True REST float spa was the most restorative and healing experience. The facility is pristine and the Alton location is very convenient. The staff at the gardens location is very welcoming and helpful when learning about the benefits of floating! I highly recommend checking them out, the holistic benefits are unlike anything I have ever tried!

I saw a Groupon for a flotation tank. I thought it sounded neat and wanted to give it a try. I…read morebought a deal for my husband so he could share the experience with me. We headed over there and met Anthony. He had us fill out forms for a massage and read about the flotation tank. We then were taken to a room that had a massage table, the tank and a shower. We decided I would go in the tank first. I climbed inside the tank not knowing what to expect. When you go in the tank it has water with medical grade epsom salt. You go in nude and we were told they have a way they sanitize the water. The tank is only meant for one person at a time. Once inside I laid down and tried to relax. I found it difficult because I could not remember if my ears were supposed to be submerged. I finally decided to let my head go back and few minutes later sat up to see if water was affecting my ears. It seemed ok so I tried again to get into it. At some points I was relaxed and felt like I really was floating away and even felt like I was spinning which I knew was impossible but the feeling was a little too intense for me. I ended up stopping my experience in the sensory deprivation tank because I think I was afraid to let myself go. I would like to try it again. I felt bad because my husband's massage was abruptly stopped because I came out of the tank early. I told him to tell the massage therapist to finish. I was given a robe and relaxed for about 15 minutes in the other room. Then it was time for us to switch services so I returned. My husband lasted longer than I did in the tank but also ended his session early. My massage also ended abruptly because he came out of the sensory deprivation tank early as well. It was not their fault I could not finish my experience in the tank but I think the massages ended awkwardly and we had to tell the therapist it was ok to finish my husband's massage which is why I did not give 5 stars. I also think for a first timer in the tank the instructions on how far to put your head back were vague because my husband also said he was uncomfortable and unsure if his ears should have been submerged.

I too used a groupon. The woman on the phone was very nice when I was an hour late due to the fact…read morethat GPS puts this place in Lake Worth, not North Palm Beach. The flotation tank was nasty. Black paint chips just flaked off. The room is dark and at first I didn't see it, but when I touch the inside of the door the black paint on the inside of the tank just flaked all over my hand. The rubber lining of the tank was hanging off. The tank also smelled moldy. I was disgusted by the whole experience and hope I didn't catch anything from even setting foot in the tank. Don't go. At any price.
