Dragon foot spa Hi,…read moreI'm visiting the area for my first time and was expecting if anything, appropriate service. I'm a young girl in college and decided to treat myself with my friend to a full body massage. So my friend and I chose different packages. I had picked B53 (a full body scrub included). My friend chose B52 (a leg and foot scrub). The massage itself, fabulous. I also feel inclined to mention, there's a man behind the front desk with a bunch of screens facing him. On the screens was all the rooms and massages going on. Very strange? I'm not from the area so i'm sure what is allowed in terms of legality with these places. But was definitely lingering in my friend and I's mind throughout the massage. During the massage I asked if they provided cupping therapy, mind you, there are two massage therapists in the room. Both answer no. Then comes the scrub, very relaxing but only my back side? Very weird considering it's listed as a FULL body scrub. But alright, no complaints still from my end. Post massage my friend tells me she also got her whole backside scrubbed despite choosing a different package. At this point we still are very chill because the massage was amazing. So we go up to checkout, I checkout first. I addressed the HALF body scrub I received politely and questioned why they didn't do my FULL body including front side. The manager initially just dismissed me while nodding and smirking at her screen. Then when she acknowledged what the person in front of her was saying, she says there's not enough time and I needed to pick the 90 minute package. My backside scrub lasted five minutes. But okay, could've mentioned the necessary time extension before the massage. Additionally, as this is all transpiring, I'm looking straight at an entire page of their cupping services. What? I'm sorry that's just strange because both massage therapists in the room aren't fully representing the companies services? Again, I kind of just dismissed it as miscommunication. Then came time to pay. Mine came out to $140. Naturally there's a tip suggestion, the tip options being $35+. I'm sorry I received half of the service I payed for, and was given incorrect information on their services. I still do a custom tip. After I entered my amount the manager goes "She didn't do a good job? It was a bad massage?" I was like no the massage was amazing I loved it. Then she goes "She works very very hard" (the massage therapist). The manager was the one speaking to us and the one who checked us in and out. The outright pressure to tip more was so inappropriate. So weird. To be so comfortable to assume someone's means even after I gave her feedback on what I didn't receive and didn't like from my experience? Also no shade or hate to the massage therapists they were very sweet, just misinformed. Anyway, she scoffs and her whole attitude from that point on was just switched and honestly rude. She checks my friend out silently, her total came out to $111. Despite essentially getting the exact same package and experience. She tips as well. The manager gives us no goodbyes, no thank yous, no have a nice day, just waves us out. I wanna make this review to spread awareness on how disrespectful and insensitive this business was in terms of tipping. Honestly just very embarrassing with a full lobby of people watching this whole interaction. If you're looking for a zen and comfortable place to get your next massage, or maybe even cupping therapy, I would highly suggest looking elsewhere.

I have been here twice now and wanted to share an honest experience…read more My first visit was really good. The therapist was intense, focused on my upper back, shoulders, and neck as requested, and even did a lovely cupping routine. She would not lighten her pressure when I asked, but her technique was effective and I left feeling better. Just know going in that communication in the rooms is limited. They tend to work the way they want to work. My second visit is why I am leaving a mediocre review. I came in specifically requesting upper back and neck only, as I am dealing with numbness and tingling in my hand and know my neck is out of alignment. I said this at the start and repeated it during the session. Instead, the therapist began with my hips, moved to my legs and feet, and spent more time on my lower body. She did some decent shoulder work, but in a 30 minute massage I would estimate only about 10 minutes were spent on the area I specifically asked for. Twice. Additionally, and I hate to say this, but there was a soft burping during the session with a strong food odor following, that made it difficult to relax. I do not want to write this place off entirely because visit one showed real skill. It seems very clean and the rooms are quite well done. But if you have a specific area of concern or an injury, be aware that your requests may not be honored. For a general relaxation massage you may have a better experience.

This was my first…read moreappointment with Carmen, and after one 75-minute customized massage, I completely understand how she has been in business since 1994. Carmen is exceptionally knowledgeable, thorough, and clearly takes tremendous pride in her work. I came to her with a complicated history of back injuries, sciatica, scoliosis, and significant tension and pain throughout my neck, shoulders, lower back, and hips. She listened carefully to that history and actually incorporated it into the way she approached my massage rather than simply giving me a standard, one-size-fits-all treatment. What impressed me most was her precision and attention to detail. She worked incredibly thoroughly, repositioning my arms, legs, and neck throughout the session so she could address muscles and areas of tension from multiple angles. It genuinely felt like she was evaluating and working with my body as a whole rather than simply moving through a routine. There was a purpose behind everything she did. Her decades of experience are immediately apparent. Carmen knows the human body, knows how to find areas that need attention, and isn't afraid to put in the work required to address them properly. I felt completely comfortable in her care and trusted her judgment throughout the entire session. Carmen also runs European Therapeutics entirely on her own, and there is something incredibly special about receiving care from someone who has spent decades building her business and still approaches her work with this level of dedication. She is hardworking, professional, kind, and extraordinarily skilled at what she does. I walked out genuinely amazed by the experience. I will absolutely be recommending Carmen to friends and family, and if you're looking for someone who will listen to you, take your concerns seriously, and give your body an incredibly thorough and individualized level of attention, go see her. She has earned every bit of this five-star review and then some.

The reception area was very clean and had a beachy feel to it. However, it was not the easiest place to find abecause the number is kind of tucked away in the right hand side of the building. Another con is the fact that it is a very small space. When you first walk into the treatment area, there are two reflexology chairs to the right facing the same direction, so you couldn't even sit side-by-side with a friend and talk. Also, the two massage tables are separated by a very thin screen which does not make for a totally relaxing environment because you can hear everything that's going on. I literally could hear somebody getting their legs done with a dry scrub. These rooms need to be just that, their own rooms with total peace and quiet so you can just drift away while listening to the overhead music. On the plus side, my therapist Gina, did an exceptional job with my 90-minute massage! She was very professional and made sure I knew that I could speak up at any time in regards to too little or too much pressure. Although, I felt really good leaving there, I would have liked a little more consistency with a deep tissue pressure. My massage was in between a Swedish and a deep tissue. That aside, she is an exceptional therapist and she and Nicole are the reason as to why I gave it a higher rating. It should also be known that their introductory prices come with a 45 day time frame to go through every single one of them. I paid $55 for the 90-minute massage.

The beach is nice as well as the remodeled pool. You get beach chairs and umbrella with the resort pass. The restaurant ONA is OK but pricy. My massage was great, but expensive. I did not use a Groupon. I paid the price on the menu, which has drastically increased for a massage. The spa offers a locker, robe and flip flops that everyone uses. I bring my own. You get complimentary valet parking with your spa stay. But, only up to 7 hours. After that you are charged full price. The spa is small, but, clean. There's a lounge area with water and snack. The steam room was not working. There's a private outdoor jacuzzi. The one thing that has changed, and it's a negative compared to other spas. Is their policy that you are only allowed to stay an hour after or before your service to enjoy the spa amenities. This is not listed in any of the brochures or on the website. At the EAU Spa you can stay all day. And the price of the services is about the same. Not sure I'll be back if this policy of only an hour continues.

It included use of the private jacuzzi, lockers, robes, flip flops, and a fruit section to help ourselves to before we got pampered. The complimentary mimosa was a nice treat to indulge in as well. I did not get the name of my therapist, but she was phenomenal. I got the Swedish massage and she was perfect. It covered from head to toe and the hot stone was included in the group rate. The warm towels made the experience so much more unique and I was pretty bummed that it had to end in 50 minutes. The customer service was awesome and I found that the rate was great since we spent the whole day at the hotel making the most out of it. We were able to use the pools and the resort beach area as often as we wanted throughout the day. Plus, the valet is complimentary when you stamp your ticket at the spa after the service. It was a fun and relaxing day to celebrate the occasion with some of my favorite girlfriends!

Rhonda is my go to for facials as she's literally one of the BEST local estheticians. She does a superb job and I actually relax enough to fall asleep during her facials. On this particular visit, my go to massage therapists weren't available due to the fact neither work on Sundays. At Rhonda's recommendation, I booked my massage with Stephen (sp?) which turned out to be a solid choice. He did a fantastic job gauging my needs and delivering a deep tissue massage without me needing to remind him about the pressure. Moreover, he was both kind and professional. I wouldn't have any reservations about utilizing him for future massages. Finally, they're offering a variety of Mother's Day specials through the end of the month. Unfortunately, over my last five visits, the quality of service has declined significantly, and my most recent experience was disappointing enough that I felt compelled to leave a review. My girlfriend and I booked a couples massage for 3:00 PM. We arrived early at 2:50 PM, but were left waiting for approximately 20 minutes before our session actually began. Despite the delayed start, the massage still ended at 3:50 PM, meaning we did not receive the full hour of service that we paid for. One of the small touches we always enjoyed after our massages was being able to choose a complimentary beverage. We have consistently chosen the red wine option because it's something we look forward to at the end of our sessions. Unfortunately, even that simple detail was incorrect during this visit. The biggest issue, however, was the massage itself. I always book a deep tissue massage because I work out six days a week and have lingering back issues from playing college football. I rely on deep tissue work for recovery and pain relief. This session felt nothing like a deep tissue massage. Honestly, it felt as though lotion was simply being rubbed onto my skin with very little pressure or therapeutic work being done. I left feeling exactly the same as when I walked in. In fact, I was so unsatisfied that I immediately started calling other massage establishments in the area to see if I could get another appointment that same day because I received virtually no benefit from this session. I am not someone who complains often, and I am usually a very generous tipper when I receive good service. This was one of the few times I have ever left without tipping because I genuinely felt that neither my girlfriend nor I received the experience we paid for. It's disappointing to see how much this place has changed. What was once a reliable and enjoyable experience has become consistently frustrating. Based on my recent experiences, I cannot recommend spending your time or money here. There are better options in the area that will provide the service and value you expect.
