I'm a fan. The ingredients are good, and the selection is great. You can add protein with just about anything. The best part, they carry protein that is soy-free. I come here regularly for a smoothie when I am feeling my healthy vibe. My last visit I grabbed Some Kind of Wonderful. It was delicious and smooth. Last Mango in Paris is so good too. I have not had a bad drink yet. Be sure to grab protein balls from the fridge. So good. Expect to spend over $12 for a drink. I've had the strange experience of not the service but listening to entitled customers on multiple occasions. Some customers demanding their order be completed before others who ordered before them just because they were in a hurry and some upset for being charged for strawberries when the standard drink they ordered didn't include strawberries. Healthy juices made fresh? I am in, all the way. I was so excited when True Juice opened in HP, I went in the first chance I got. The good: Great selection of juices and smoothies. There is also a large display encouraging you to design your own, giving you instructions on how to go about it. Besides freshly made, there is a nice selection of juices already made and ready to go, for those in a hurry. There was an interesting array of prepared meals and snacks, as well as gluten free brownies and cookies. The not so good: The prices are high, but that was expected. I suppose you pay for the quality of the product and the prime location. More bothersome is the lack of clear pricing on the food items. It's a salad, not a couture dress. Just slap a price tag on, loud and clear, don't be coy. The bad: The customer service. Oh, how sad I am to report this. Besides taking my order, neither of the two women looked at me or talked to me. I was the only customer in the store. So while I was waiting for the juice, it would have been nice to be acknowledged, instead of ignored. I travel a lot between Los Angeles and Suburbs of Chicago- this is the best place in the suburbs for a healthy snack, post workout smoothie, and overall organic meal. I know price has been mentioned in previous comments, but the price is comparable to L.A. and as others mentioned, you get what you pay for. When I am in town, I go about 2 times a week. I've been to TrueJuice a bunch of times this summer and the quality is inconsistent and service is not welcoming at all. They often over use one ingredient so the entire smoothie or juice just takes like almond milk, ginger, etc. I did once have an awesome Coco Loco when I first visited, but I think it was due to the person making it since she had a positive vibe. Now it's different - if the people making and serving the expensive juices are not into it, why am I? I'm going to save my $$ and visit other businesses that care about their product and customers. This review is for the botanical garden location: I ordered an açaí bowl, and it came back with only one of the 6 different fruits/ingredients that were supposed to come on it. It was just açaí, and mushy apple on top. The staff seemed young and incompetent - they didn't think to notify me when I was ordering that they were out of ALL ingredients, and would not give me my money back. This place has great foods and smoothies. Some of the side things they have for purchase seem odd to offer as I could get them in the grocery store down the street for 1/2 the price. Really enjoyed this place. In the world of grease and fast food, this clean food actually makes you feel good for eating it. Smoothie was really great, robust taste and very generous portion. I love this place. It's not cheap, but I think the quality is worth it. I have omnivores, carnivores and vegans in our house - something for everyone here. Generally great tasting smoothies and juices but I wouldnt say its always super consistent. It also takes forever to get whatever you order and make sure you are paying attention because if not you might not realize they completely forgot to make one of your drinks until you have been standing there an insane amount of time lol (like what i did not long ago). Their system of ordering then telling the people who make the orders doesnt seem to always work. And when its crowded its uncomfortable in there- its small with really nowhere to stand. I went the other day and ordered a few drinks. One came out but then nothing and i could barely hear the girl when she called out drink names once. Why not do like starbucks and use the person's name... I went up to ask and they said smoothie maker blamed cashier for "not writing it down." Who knows but there wasnt even an i'm sorry, oops, etc.... Just an annoyed look and the drink was made. That is the other part- I find the employees to be fairly unfriendly or maybe just unhappy?
