They were two hours late, and I had to reach out myself to find out when they were arriving. When I got there, several things had not been cleaned. The owner told me she would arrive in 15 minutes but didn't show up until 40 minutes later. I tried to be understanding, especially after she shared she was dealing with some personal issues and that her brother, who was helping, was new. However, I expected a move-out clean to be top-to-bottom, as advertised. Major things were left undone: the walls weren't cleaned (I was told it's because a previous product damaged paint), the ceiling fans hadn't been touched, and drawers in both the kitchen and bathroom were still dirty. I was later charged by my landlord for those very issues -- dirty walls, dirty drawers, and general lack of thorough cleaning. While the owner did deduct $50 from the $550 total, I still paid $500 for a subpar job, and now I'm losing part of my security deposit because of it. I was very patient and understanding, but in the end, I hired professionals to avoid this exact situation. Sadly, I can't recommend them anymore.

He ended up vacuuming and cleaning the house again. I made a few mistakes here: first, not going with a Yelp guaranteed business, because now I cannot get my money back. Second, sending money without verifying what they did. I asked them for less than half of the money back (I would like to use that for a gift certificate for my friend doing their cleaning work), but they refused any refund at all.
