I was told by a friend that Green Planet was "pretty good", but had since moved on to another cleaning company since the last few cleans she had were not up to par. I decided to give them a try, since the first several companies I contacted would not commit to a one-time cleaning job. I sent several emails in regard to what I exactly needed done in my home and was very specific. I asked the owner if I should leave a list for the crew members so they could have it while they were at the house. The owner said that it wasn't necessary, and that he had communicated all my wants to the crew. Two days prior to the scheduled cleaning, I called and spoke with the owner and we reviewed everything to be sure it was correct, as I had made several additions to my original request. The crew arrived a little before 0900, which was within the time frame the website mentions. My father in law was at the home and he said that when the two crew members arrived, they stated they did not know what they had to clean. If that was the case, why wouldn't they reach out to their supervisor (the owner) to verify? Or, more importantly, why wasn't it communicated to them if they truly were not told? The owner assured me they had all my emails with my requests. The cleaning job was beyond awful. Soap scum on the showers, dirty walls, and it seemed as if they picked and chose which drawers and cabinets to clean inside of, as some were done and others were not even touched. A big request was to have my blinds cleaned in the home and the light fixtures cleaned.... literally NONE of them were touched, not even a little bit. They were at my house for three hours. Not quite sure what they did that entire time. I submitted photos to the owner, who, by the way, addressed me as "Sarah" in one of his email replies (my name is Samantha) to me, and he offered to come back out for free. No thanks. We agreed that I would not be paying for the "cleaning" job the crew did and left it at that. I'm extremely disappointed and would not recommend this company. read more

Green Planet did a "pre-sale" deep cleaning of our three-bedroom home (roughly 2,000 sq feet) prior to photographs being taken for an online MLS listing, They did a fabulous job and exceeded our expectations. The cleaning was done by an experienced team of two & ended up costing less than we expected! David was very responsive in providing information and answering our questions quickly and completely before the appointment. He made sure to understand exactly what we wanted and where the focus of the cleaning efforts should be. We received several text reminders prior to the appointment time. We were operating within a short time frame and I provided a couple of dates that worked for us -- which they were able to do for us. We would not hesitate to use them again. read more

We have been customers of Green Planet a couple years now. They have always been professional and accommodating. Communication with the owner (who turns out is a really great guy) has been timely and efficient. They have always worked with us when we have had scheduling conflicts. They offer very competitive rates. And most important- they do a great job cleaning. We really like the rotating deep cleaning schedule. Poor communication and organization. Cleaning crew arrived almost an hour and a half late. Owner is flakey. Would not recommend.

Horrible. Owner requires multiple calls and emails for response. Hardwood floors damaged by wet mop left in a puddle. Owner and HR "manager" came to assess to determine how they would "discipline" the employee. Replied by email stating they were not responsible because the employee said they didn't do it and it's not possible for damage to occur based on their training. I was home and witnessed. Read the other reviews where damage occurred, it's a playbook he follows to try and avoid liability. Pending litigation. read more

I wish I could comment on the cleaning but due to complications we were not able to ever get them in house. David was very nice when we were able to get a hold of him. We had less than 24hrs notice of a scheduling change and could not accommodate the one option we were given. Then when I attempted to get a hold of him to work out other options, he did not respond (until two hours before the originally scheduled service time). We're sad communication was so poor and wish it could've worked out. We've heard great things about the service, and when we were able to get a hold of David he was very nice! read more

Green Planet did a "move-in" deep cleaning of a house we recently purchased. I had two issues that would prevent me from recommending this service to someone else. First, the estimate given was not very accurate. An estimated cleaning time of 6 hours (2 cleaners x 3 hrs) was given for a 4 bedroom/2 bath 2100sf house. It ended up taking 9 hours, resulting in an additional $140. Yes, the house was dirty. But 3 hours off?! The house was completely empty. Didn't have them touch the garage or basement. When I came back after 3 hours expecting them to be done almost everything was complete. Then it just dragged on and on. I asked how much longer and they said 30 min. Ok. I left and came back 40 min later and still had to wait almost another 40 minutes. The second problem was that there were a couple areas that were completely missed. Visible cob webs along the ceiling in several rooms. Interior surfaces of kitchen cabinets not touched. Both of these tasks were outlined to be done (and checked off on their list). When pointed out the cleaners finished the job. David, the owner, looked into the matter and reduced the hourly rate by $2. I appreciate him reducing the cost by $18 but felt this fell a little short when the total was $140 more than anticipated. read more

Some friends gave us the gift of a house cleaning service while I am recovering from surgery (amazing friends, I know). Green planet was their choice since we wanted a service that did not use chemicals. Their coordinator, David was friendly and reliable. The cleaners came for the first time today. They had to clean around me since I am still mostly confined to my bed. They were prompt, quick, fairly quiet, and did a fantastic job on the house. I don't think it has ever been this clean. It takes a load off my mind not to worry about my house being a disaster while I am unable to clean it. I would recommend them to anyone looking for this service. read more

Green Planet has helped me reclaim my weekends. They do an excellent job and work with expediency and integrity. They clean things you never considered (inside of microwave, ceiling fans, grout, under the vanities,), they make your bed, and they do floors and clean glass entrances.
