If you are looking for an excellent fertility doctor, please look no further. My husband and I did not start trying until I turned 39, so we expected an uphill battle. But from the very beginning, we felt that we were in the best possible hands with Dr. Fisch and his wonderful team. One of the biggest benefits of going to a smaller clinic with one reproductive fertility doctor is the attentive, individualized care. Dr. Fisch and his staff became familiar with us and our fertility journey very quickly. He personally performed our appointments, ultrasounds, and all required procedures, and at the end of each appointment, he always took the time to answer all of our questions -- often before we even asked them. He was knowledgeable, reassuring, and always had an answer for us. I truly felt cared for and like I was a priority. Dr. Fisch is attentive, detail-oriented, compassionate, and incredibly personable. He called us from his cell phone many times, which meant so much to us during such an emotional process. Fertility treatment can feel overwhelming and invasive, but Dr. Fisch and his entire staff -- including the nurses and anesthesiologists -- always did everything they could to make me feel comfortable and supported. In addition to his excellent medical skills, Dr. Fisch has an incredible bedside manner. He is kind, friendly, patient, and genuinely supportive. He and his wife, Melissa, made me feel like I was more than just a patient. We also loved the front office staff and nurses. Everyone was so sweet, helpful, and supportive with our appointments. Joanna was always there to answer our questions and help ease our concerns, and we are so grateful for her kindness and support. We cannot say enough good things about Green Valley Fertility Partners, Dr. Fisch, and the entire team. Thanks to them, we are now preparing to welcome our baby girl, and we will always be thankful for the care we received. I see her for my annual Pap and now I am seeing her for perimenopause symptoms and hormone replacement. She is so attentive and doesn't miss a step. I had tried the hormone pellets and they were great just not sustainable realistically long term financially for me, because insurance doesn't cover it. $500 every 3 months is tough for me so I was looking for another option. She asked all the questions for me so that I did not have to know everything to say. She even had information preprinted and gave it to me so that someone my age knows what I need to be doing for myself and my health. I was given an option that would be more affordable and I left the office feeling empowered and hopeful that I will be feeling better soon. She encouraged me to follow up in 9 months. She said she would refill my prescriptions and the back office staff asked me to call to schedule my appointment for October in April when the that part of schedule will open up. The office is busy and there are multiple doctors working and seeing patients. The front office is running smoothly though. I felt like they were pleasant. They have a long lobby with several areas with chairs to sit. The nurse that brought me back, took my vitals, roomed me, and was very nice. I recommend this office and especially Dr. Falcone. She is top notch. Very professional, knowledgeable, and has an excellent bedside manner. I am grateful to have her as my doctor. She always arrives in the exam room with a big smile, she's super friendly, knowledgeable, gentle, caring & doesn't make you feel rushed. She's a great listener to any concerns or questions I have. One time when I arrived for my yearly exam I was super stressed after getting some bad news from my job & she actually took the time to let me confide in her on what was going on. This was so appreciated & she didn't need to do this for me, thank you because it helped to talk about the issue with the 1st human I happened to come in contact with after getting the phone call from my boss. I did have an issue with a staff member while waiting to be seen last year. She didn't normally work the front desk but she had a horrible demeanor & wasn't very professional. I did find out today that she no longer works there & that the doctor's had replaced their staff due to having too many issues with them so if you have run into any issues with them please give the doctor's another chance. I even had an issue getting a hold of my MD's MA last year & scheduling an appointment earlier this year. It does make it hard for patient's when they love their doctor but not their staff & unfortunately unprofessional, uneducated & rude staff can affect their practice. I was glad to know that something has been done about it. I love how they have their own lab in house so I don't have far to go when I want blood work done with my yearly exam. The phlebotomist has always been really nice, professional, gentle & friendly. I don't usually have to wait long to be called back & review home meds & what I'm in the office for. I do find it odd that the only vitals that the MA takes is your weight & blood pressure. No heart rate, respirations, temp. or your height. I have run into having trouble in not being able in getting an appointment for a "problem" in a timely manner which can be frustrating if it's something that needs attention & may be gone by the time you do get an appointment. I like when doctor's leave some extra time in their day to fill these requests. I had been going to another OBGYN, but when my fertility doctor mentioned that I needed surgery to remove my endometriosis before moving on to more treatment, I went back to that OBGYN that I had been seeing for yeaaaaars and they were less than helpful. They literally wouldn't see me till end of June (I believe I called in April... wild right?!). So, I hit up Yelp to see if I could find another OBGYN that I would feel comfortable enough with. I searched and found Empowered OBGYN and Dr. Stepanida Freeman. I made the appointment and they mentioned that she wasn't available that day, but that they would have a nurse practitioner chat with me about the surgery and get it scheduled instead. No problem! They were able to book me an appointment TWO WEEKS from the day I called! Much better than nearly two months!!! I was already so impressed. A week before my appointment, I just went in to fill out some paperwork to have my fertility doctor send over all my documentation to them beforehand so I wouldn't have to repeat myself too much haha. Filled out the paperwork and they actually DID get my records from my fertility clinic. LOVED THAT! I came in for my appointment, and every single staff member was incredible and so kind. As I was waiting for the nurse practitioner to come in, the kind staff member that brought me in to the room popped her head in and said, you know what, the doctor said she has some time, so she's just going to come in and chat with you instead. HOW AMAZING IS THAT?! Dr. Freeman was so nice and she's so soft spoken and makes you feel so comfortable. I loved her demeanor and her knowledge. She explained to me the surgery and said someone would reach out to get me scheduled. She also asked if I wanted a pelvic exam since I was there and I said sure! Seriously so nice. When my surgery came, Dr. Freeman obviously performed it and came and talked with me right before hand. I had looked up photos before of what the incisions looked like for this type of surgery, and was so nervous about having these huge reminders on my stomach. Nope! The incisions were so tiny and I healed pretty quickly. I just went in for my post opp appointment and she walked me through showing photos of what she did during the surgery. Absolutely incredible what she was able to do! She removed a cyst from my ovary and kept it in tact and assured me my ovary was good to go! My husband and I were laughing after at how she was like oh yeah I did this, like it wasn't the most impressive thing either of us have heard haha. One of the things I also loved was that she even remembered the name of my fertility doctor and asked when I was seeing her next. Didn't have to look at records or anything! I appreciated that attention to detail, and truly made me feel like she really knows and cares about me as a patient. You don't find that a lot with doctors these days, and even though it seemed like a minor thing to others, it didn't go unnoticed with me and my husband. She is so caring for her patients! I am so appreciative to Dr. Freeman, and I know if (god willing) /when I am pregnant, I trust her whole heartedly for my pregnancy and delivery. I'm so happy to have found a new OBGYN whom I trust!!! As well as the rest of the staff she has here, they are ALL amazing and kind and incredibly caring! I don't ever feel rushed and it honestly feels like every one of her employees and herself are just truly happy to be there. It makes the worlds difference!

My husband is the smart fellow who had researched the history of birthing and knew a home birth would be right for us. But the first midwife we interviewed took a while to answer basic questions such as, "What complications would necessitate us leaving the house for the hospital?" When asked the same question above, Allyson immediately listed several instances. She even brought out a doll and a 3D model of the pelvic bones to demonstrate. That's my kind of professional! Direct, organized, and eager to share her knowledge. I knew Allyson would be the perfect midwife for me. Like most women, I did not experience any complications during the natural birth process. Allyson and her apprentice, Romina, expertly and lovingly guided us through 18 hours of labor in the peace and quiet of my downtown apartment. I was 36 at the time of delivery, which is considered high risk, but everything went as smooth as it could. Post birth experiences with Allyson were also invaluable. She is as concerned for the mother as much as the baby, which is a level of service unique to midwives. Allyson's post birth home visits are a luxury I wish every family could experience. My experience with Allyson has changed my perspective on medical care, in general. I feel much more empowered as a patient, and know what good care looks like. Allyson spent one hour, I repeat, one hour with me during every visit. This provides ample time for me to digest information and to ask questions. Unlike the OB I had visited previously, Allyson proactively provides the information you don't know you need. Through Allyson I have also learned about home remedies, herbs and more.

She involved my significant other in the entire pregnancy, made sure that my labs were normal, that my baby's labs were normal, that I had whatever kind of birth I wanted and even if on that day it had changed, it didn't matter. She had a ton of reading, audio and video materials to loan to mothers-to-be from her library. She also recommended classes that we could take to learn more about Lamaze, breathing technique, or breastfeeding. She had tips for how to cut baby's nails, how to get started on cloth diapers, and how to care for myself after the birth. I told her I didn't want an epidural and that I at first wanted a water birth. I ended up doing my prelabor in the bathtub then laboring on the bathroom floor in my own house. She was supportive of all the animal grunting sounds I was making and cheered me on. She gave me olive oil to rub on the baby's head, gave me fresh coconut juice when I needed rejuvenation, took some memorable pictures for me and my new family, counted his fingers, toes, took his measurements, had my significant other weigh the baby, and she even did the footprints. She was great with prenatal and postpartum care. She told me what diet I should be on, but also that I should just eat whatever I felt was right. She encouraged me to be me as much as I could be me during the pregnancy with respect to having a healthy pregnancy. She gave me suggestions during my seventh month as to what exercises I could do in the pool since the treadmill was starting to become too hard on my knees. Whenever she wanted to incorporate a teaching moment for other doulas or learning midwives, she would always ask for permission first. She respected me, my son, my significant other and our beliefs. She gave me lactation consultation and helped my son to latch on. She was great about scheduling if anything ever came up and fit me in even when she seemed like she couldn't. She was always reachable and was never more than a few hours away by phone or email. I am glad that I went with her versus going to a doctor or a hospital. Even when I had thought about having the birth in the hospital, she was still supportive of my decision and was ready to do the patient-transfer paperwork and then was supportive again when I decided that the hospital thing was not my cup of tea. For my hundredth review on Yelp, she's whom I'm writing about and Great Expectations Midwifery Care is what I care about. She did an awesome job and if I were to have other children in the future, I would definitely go back to her. I would recommend her to any of my friends and family.
