At first it seemed like a good inspection, now that my…read morehusband and I are living in the property that was Inspected by this company, they did a complete SLIP SHOD shod job. 1) They claimed the Breakers/Electrical panel was labeled correctly. Well, it is NOT. I went to turn off the fuse labeled 'Dryer'. And I got shocked when attempting to reconnect the wire which was hanging out of the dryer outlet. Meaning the breaker box/ panel is NOT labeled correctly. This is very concerning seeing how someone can get seriously injured. And this company couldn't take the time to test any of the breakers. 2) The kitchen sink is messing caulk and clips. That is not on the inspection. Which means they didnt brothered to look. 3) Hot and Cold water lines under the kitchen sink were not connected to the correct inlet. Which means they didn't brother to look at all. This makes me question everything else they 'checked'. They do horrible work and its messed up that we had to pay them to do faulty work. And of course how is the customer suppose to know this when we rely on them to do the job? Due to this company's slip shod job me, my husband or anyone else who performed work on this place could have been seriously injured because this company cannot and did perform and lied on the report. What a worse of money. But this company will continue to stay in business because buyers wont know how horrible or good of a job they perform until its to late.

Not only did he get us the report printed out the same day, he was genuinely confident that he left no stone unturned. He went under the home, in the attic, on the roof, and checked everything in between. He came prepared with shoe covers, a tyvec suit, ladder and orange gloves. Contra Costa Termite Control (CCTC) just finished a job that started small and continued to grow…read more We just bought a house, with some known minor rot. We brought in CCTC as a second opinion for the inspection that was done by the seller. CCTC confirmed that the original inspection was valid, and while CCTC's price was about the same as the other company, I liked Joe who came out for the inspection so we went with CCTC (it didn't hurt Joe is also is a parent to a pitty and made friends with mine). Kim, the person who runs the show, was very responsive and good to work with. Both inspections had called out that we might find something in one area once we opened it up, since hard to get to, and unfortunately we did. Lots of rot and some termites. So, we basically quadrupled the work by the time we finished after chasing down the rot and killing the bugs. Ivan, who did most of the construction work (helped by Larry, Joe and another - sorry I forget his name) did an amazing job. Ivan was very patient with all my questions and suggestions on how to do things a bit different, etc. The job did take a lot longer than anticipated since they had to special order some wood and Ivan had some other scheduled jobs, but it finally is finished and we have a house that is ready for the next 20+ years! We will be seeing them in a couple years to make sure the termites haven't come back.
