Dale is just THEE go-to guy for all things pool-related! Super friendly and just knows his stuff. Whenever anyone asks for a pool inspector, there is only Del, and as much as he probably wants to retire, I dread that day because any new inspector has some big shoes to fill! read more

Del is the best in the business. Class act also. He does all my client's pool inspections and most other Realtors.

Del provided excellent customer service with his inspection, recommendations for pool care / longevity, made us aware of a potentially hazardous electrical issue, and even recommended contractors he's used in the past so I know they're reliable. He's talked through all of this with me on several occasions and has always been responsive and helpful well after he inspected my pool. Great guy, I'd highly recommend him! read more

Del inspected a pool at a property we were purchasing. Both realtors (seller and buyer agents) were insistent he was the right guy for the job. He was extremely thorough and provided a lot of great advice and industry contacts. Del was able to point out what needed replacement now, things that were nonfunctional but did not need to be replaced, and he gave us a very good idea of the lifespan left on all of our equipment and the future cost to replace. He's your man for pool inspections. read more

Del is the absolute gold standard in pool inspections! He's hilarious but don't let that fool you he knows his pools inside and out!

He was responsive, professional and accommodating, even though he was very busy. Apparently, he's the preeminent authority, having done it for 41 years and it shows. read more

Was a pleasure working with Del! We are new pool owners and wanted an inspection to get to know the systems in detail and see the state of everything that wasn't covered in the broader home inspection report. Del was very professional and friendly - he was incredibly thorough and walked us through everything with the new pool. We got the full "pool school" experience as he likes to call it, and it was great learning from him. After the visit he sent us a very detailed report outlining all the things discussed onsite, with recommendations about what to fix and what were the most critical items. Very impressed with his work, and would highly recommend Del to others. Thanks! read more

Del knows pools! He does pool inspections for my clients (Real Estate). Very thorough. Has recommendations for any needed repairs.

Very knowledgeable and nice. Knows pools very well and is very professional. You won't regret using him.

Recently I bought a home that's a bit older with a pool. The only other pool I've had was one I built, so I was a bit skeptical about an older pool. Del came to do the inspection, and besides being incredibly delightful, he is also very thorough. He explained what he ran into and also showed me the things that needed repairing. The real magic came in his written report. Wow! So detailed, thorough and clear as to what things needed to be done, some things that "should" be done and recommendations for running and maintaining the system in top condition. I'm not sure what I expected, but the level of detail was very impressive. And as the icing on the cake, Del is just an uplifting, delightful person to work with. He is very upbeat and positive, and he makes the whole process seem less intimidating and more fun. Thank you, Del! read more

If you need a pool inspection Del is your guy! Very knowledgeable and has been in the industry for many years.

Del is THE guy to call. My realtor introduced us during the inspection and he came in with a lot of great energy and laughs. When it was time, he got straight down to business and didn't miss a beat. Del provided us with valuable information on the current status of a 40 year old pool and what to expect in the coming years. I felt much more prepared after his insight. read more

As a Realtor I needed a great pool inspection to ease my clients concerns as they've never owned a pool and we're buying a house with a very old one. The inspector came out and spent a ton of time going over the pool but also educating my buyers on everything they needed to know about it plus future maintenance. Overall very happy and will use them again. read more

Del came out as part of a full home inspection through another company, Specialty Inspections. He seemed very knowledgeable about the pool equipment, and what it would cost to do the repairs or replace a few parts here and there. He arrived on time, was very friendly, and really took the time to explain everything in his report. The fee was $300, which seems to be about the market cost for a pool inspection. He really put us at ease about the pool, pointing out some minor flaws here and there, but advising that it looked to be in great shape. By the next day, we received his 9-page report. read more

If I could leave negative stars I would because 1 star is way too high of a rating for this company. I'm in the process of selling my home and the people that decided to buy my home decided to use Del Does Pools to inspect my pool. This company clearly does not know a single thing about pools. I'm very meticulous about my pool and it is crystal clear 24/7 till this company showed up. When I got home from work, I saw that my entire back yard was flooded from when they backwashed my pool. They did not use the connecting pipes that were laid right next to drain out and sand filter to run the water into the yard and trees like you are supposed to. They were too lazy to do that and flooded my back yard instead. Then instead of going into the rinse cycle like you are supposed to do with a SAND FILTER they put it back into filter mode and all the backwash debris and cloudy merky water from the sand filter blew back into the pool making my entirely crystal clear pool a cloudy gray mess. It took exactly a week of running my filter non stop to clear my pool back up because or their incompetence. They told my agent that he ran the backwash and then back to filter and says that the spider gaskets is going bad and that's what happened with my pool. This person clearly doesn't know anything because you have to rinse the SAND FILTER before you go back into filter mode. If you want headaches and want to use people that don't know anything about pools then these are your people. Clearly incompetent! Before and after pictures attached. Thanks for the headaches Del! read more

Del came to inspect the pool on the house my wife and I bought. He came on the same day as all the other inspections, so we didn't have to arrange another visit, or have the pool inspected without us being present. He was extremely polite, knowledgable, and entertaining. He clarified what repairs really needed to be done, gave ballpark figures, and left us feeling confident about the pool. He also named our automatic pool cleaner "Mick", which has stuck as its name ever since. read more

Del really knows the pool business. He walks through the door with a sense of humor and he is very entertaining in his presentation. From start to finish he explains everything very well, he is always on time, and like I said the entertainment value is worth calling upon Dale because he will leave his good impression on the clients which will reflect well on the agent. He's a really good guy! read more

Does what he says. Offers good advice. He's very articulate and helpful. I would hire him again in a heartbeat to do a pool inspection. Thanks Del. read more

I've made an offer for a home with a pool and was very nervous about it as I've never owned a pool. Del came highly recommended so I asked him to conduct an inspection on the property. Del was the last inspection that day and I had to grab some lunch so he ended up getting to the house almost an hour before me, thankfully, he was kind enough to to use the gate and start work. By the time I got there, Del was ready to walk me through the details. Amazing. It was like the guy owned and maintained the pool for last 10 years. He walked me through all the important stuff to look at, the stuff that the previous owner did well, the stuff that he didn't, the things that were part of the original pool and were now missing, things that are going to break soon, the things that I need to fix, the creative ideas on how I can save a buck or two (totally needed when buying a house these days...), and everything - with a huge smile and good spirit. After the inspection I was reassured, more confident and smiling. Thanks Del! A couple of days later, I got the *very* detailed report on the inspection which was very useful and important. Del also suggested that once I got the house he'll come over again and we'll work out a plan on what and how to fix etc. Amazing. On the price front, I did some checking around before I knew what I was getting and the guy was pretty competitive. With what I know now, even more... Highly recommend! And if you can get him to tell you a joke or two (not that difficult!) you'll get a free standup for the same price :) :). read more

We hired Del to inspect an existing pool at the home we hope to buy. Wow...we couldn't have chosen a better person for the job. Super nice guy...he did an extremely thorough inspection and gave us excellent tips to help us care for our pool. He is honest, punctual, and very kind...and we were blown away by his extensive knowledge of pools and pool systems. We really appreciated his advice on which things had to be fixed right away vs which items we could wait on. Really put our minds at ease. When it's time to do work on our pool, Del is the only man we would trust. read more

I have been using Del for all my pool inspections since I started in real estate back in 2001. Del knows pools inside and out. He is extremely knowledgeable with all of the materials of a pool and all of the different equipment of the pools. He is a straight shooter and will tell you exactly what is going on and how you can fix it. He has the list of people that can help fix ANY issue regarding your pool. What I like most about Del is how personable he is with me and my clients. He makes my clients feel at ease with all of his knowledge and joking around to make it light hearted. He is very personable and easy to get along with. I will always use Del for all my pool inspections. read more

Del was terrific! I had to order the pool inspection for my buyers and he gave me an hour window but arrived at the start of it. Did a very thorough inspection of the pool and equipment, explained the problems and solutions to my buyer and had a written report to us with estimated costs for repairs by the next morning. He does have a humorous side which is good to find in the serious business of selling homes. Will definitely use him again when I need a pool inspected in the areas he serves! read more

Got a pool inspection from Del on a house that my wife and I are currently in the process of buying. I am not big on pools because of the costs it takes to maintain but Del was very knowledgable about everything that comes with owning and maintaining a pool. He made me feel comfortable enough to do a lot of the tasks myself without hiring someone else to come in to fix or maintain the pool. I'm glad he came out, made me feel a lot better about potentially owning a pool. He even gave me a quick course on how to use the pool/spa control system. Highly recommend Del for your next pool inspections. read more

I use Del for all my pool inspections. As a real estate professional it's important I work with the best of the best and Del is definitely at the top of my list. He knows pools very well, is communicative and gives my clients good options. He also is not trolling for work as he does not do pool repairs. read more

Cool Pool inspector! Del knows his stuff definitely worth having an inspection of your pool with him. Make no mistake there is more to pools than meets the eye. read more

Very unprofessional. Showed up 15 minutes late and when we made a comment about him being late he said "do you want me to do the job?" When we asked how long it would take he said "45 min" and then he said "you know what, I'm outta here" and he got in his car (which he parked in the driveway blocking us in) and drove away. Very very unprofessional and rude. Don't recommend and now after reading some reviews glad he didn't stay! read more

Del gave me a bid on a pool job then left me hanging for two months. He finally told me he wasn't interested in the job because it was a 203k loan, leaving me scrambling to find another contractor up against a deadline to close the escrow. Extremely unprofessional-- I emailed him and called him several times before he finally responded. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND HIM TO MY WORSE ENEMY! read more

A no show! We made an appointment for Friday at 11am. At 11:15am I called and texted him... nothing. Call and texted again about 12:30pm... nothing. Days have passed and he has not responded or apologized for standing us up. I'm very disappointed at the time wasted and his lack of courtesy. read more

Del's inspection made all the difference in our decision on buying a property. On top of that he was a pleasure to work with and highly knowledgeable about the subject.
