I feel I gave Paul in the Denton / Aubrey Texas area plenty of time to respond. I am extremely upset. I had used truck beds about 2 years ago to move and help me organize two 10x20 storage units. The help I was sent was far above and beyond anything I had ever expected. It only took the young men about 2 hours to complete the task. I was so pleased with their service that I tipped them 100%. So naturally I contacted truck beds again when I needed everything from that storage unit in Denton moved to Fort Worth. Originally I had set it up for monday, September 20th, at 9:00 a.m. in Denton Texas. I had sent Paul the information on where and when to meet. When I got there Monday morning, I texted after waiting for a while and Paul told me he was sorry he did not see the text for the confirmation until Monday morning. He said he could immediately find help for me and get it sent out, but I said no let's start fresh at 9:00 tomorrow morning. Confirmed. I had also told them that we needed to be completely done by 6:00 p.m. that evening because my storage unit in Fort Worth locks up precisely at 6:00 and you cannot get in. The doors are locked. I was there at 9:00 a.m. on tuesday, September 21st, again no show. I texted Paul at 9:30 and he was sorry, said he had spoken with them and they would be there soon. About 10:15 to 10:30 two young men showed up with a 26 ft truck, took a look at the storage unit, and said there was no way the two of them could get it all loaded. So they called Paul and someone named Jonas, and went to get a third man They physically got started at 11:00 a.m. now, this same storage unit that is 10x20 and had been completely packed and organized by my two previous truck buds in 2 hours took them 4 hours to load onto the truck. One piece was left behind in my daughter's storage unit because they could not fit it in. I gave the men the address to the storage unit in Fort Worth and ask them if they had brought lunches. As it was now after 3:00 they said no so I gave them $45 as they said they were going to stop at Subway on the way down. I asked Tyrine to call me when he was about 15 minutes away so I would be sure I was there when they arrived. Tyrine (the lead) called me at 4:15 and told me they were 13 minutes away. They showed up 45 minutes later because they had stopped at QuikTrip for drinks, and apparently took a wrong turn on the street to come to my storage unit. That meant we only had one hour to get it completely unloaded. The manager of the storage unit came out at 5:45 to see how much was left on the truck and said okay she would stay a few minutes longer. They finally finished at 6:15. I will attach pictures at the way they threw things into my storage unit. Keeping in mind that I'm 69 years old, I went in several days after and started rearranging myself. The difference I made myself in 3 hours is astounding compared to what it took them to complete this job. I was in contact with Paul several times during the day of the job. I had been told I would not be charged for the third person. I have been in contact with Paul and told him of my displeasure as well as sending pictures. Several days later as I was working I came across the cedar chest my father gave my mother on their wedding day in 1948, broken into pieces. I know they knew it had happened because all of my furniture had been wrapped in moving blankets and plastic wrap. This time the cedar chest just had one of the storage blankets thrown over it. I again called Paul, left a message and told him I wanted an itemized statement for the $948.75 I was charged. I also sent him pictures of the storage unit, and my mother's cedar chest several times. I gave him what I feel is plenty of time to respond, I have tried to call him again with no answer, so this is my review. I told him I would be reviewing you on Facebook, and contacting the better business bureau. I have many more pictures I can share, including pictures that I took after I had worked in there 3 hours organizing. Incredibly unprofessional. I was giving away a furniture on Facebook to two families in need, and Paul (who I believe is the owner) offered on the post to pick it up from me and deliver it to them at no cost to the recipients. He scheduled with me, no-showed at the agreed upon time, rescheduled for the next week (after I'd reached out), and then stood me up again. Both times the woman (a single mother) and I took off work to meet him based on his availability, and he couldn't even give me the courtesy of a call or message letting me know plans had changed on either occasion. After our house flooded, we needed to move all of our belongings out of the house quickly. Truck buds helped us pack our stuff and move everything to a nearby storage unit on a Sunday with just a day or two notice at a competitive price. They were courteous and professional. One of the movers smelled of weed when he arrived at the storage unit to unload. That was a little strange, but he otherwise did a good job. read more

As the only parent to my child, scheduling/prioritizing is of the upmost importance. So, paying for a mover should encourage convenience. Buuuuut.... DAY 1: I purchased a couch on Facebook Marketplace from a seller that was 2 miles from my house. While I was scrolling through Facebook Marketplace, I also came across Truckbuds.com. I figured I could really use some convenience instead of trying to figure out if any friends were available (which sometimes takes a day or two). So, I requested a delivery for the next evening on 12/11/21 at 6:30pm (the seller would not be home until then), and received info about the driver. That was awesome!! But, the driver called that evening thinking it was a move for that night. I confirmed it would be for the following night and MUST be after 6:30. He said OK. DAY 2: I followed up with the driver/mover to confirm he would be able to pick up the couch and he said he was busy. This was an hour before the move was scheduled. So, I contacted dispatch and spoke with Paul. He was great and really tried to help. Though Paul did say he would respond to me, I did not get a call back that evening. I texted the driver to see if he could come the next day at 6:30. He confirmed (again). DAY 3 I followed up with the driver/mover and he acted like he didn't know anything about the move, nor the location. For me, that was just a little skeezy (as a new mom, granted, I may be overreacting about that). This was about 2 hours before the delivery was to be completed - about 4:30pm. Again, I spoke with Paul, who was still awesome, and not only informed me that the mover from yesterday had closed out the ticket (basically communicated he had done the job), but Paul also found me someone else. This person reached out, but because it was a 2-person move (stairs included on pick-up side), no one could help with that late of notice. The problem this whole time is the couch needed to be gone today or else the seller was going to resell the couch and not refund me. WHY A 3 STAR? Just communicate!! Even though I didn't receive my couch, and communication sucked, at least there was effort. I appreciate effort! read more

The guys who showed up did a great job. We called around at the last minute for someone to move a desk. Truckbuds was one of two that gave a quote and they were much cheaper. I went online and scheduled a table to be picked up and delivered 4 days in advance. They were supposed to pick up at 12:30pm. They did not pick up until almost 2:30pm. James texted me through out the afternoon, and pushed the pick up from 12:30 to 1pm, then to 1:30, then to 2pm then, 2:10 "at the earliest". I told them from the beginning that I had to leave for work at 3pm. James told me thru texts that it was my fault they were late because I didn't respond to one of his texts for 14 minutes, and another time they were late because he wasn't charging me enough so no one wanted the job. When the table was finally delivered, after 3:20 pm ( I was late for work) they had forgot to bring the leaves for the table. I then reached out to Paul, the owner, and forwarded to him the text thread. He said he was aware they were late and "sorry." But that they are really busy and talk to a lot of people all day, and that I was coming "at him in a negative way." At that point I realized I was wasting my time, because everything is someone else's fault, so I wished him good luck, and suggested that he have a back up plan, because you can't run a business like that. He then said "ok, Karen" . So unless you want to deal with people who have the maturity of a 12 year old, and you have all day to sit around and wait, and don't mind missing work, and then going and getting the parts they left behind, I would not recommend these children, who will blame you for their problems and then call you names. read more

I have had furniture picked up and delivered to my house multiple times. I've referred several friends to use them as well and they have liked Truck Buds service and friendly drivers too. Wow! What a great company! I had hired a different company to "pick up now" a dryer in Ft. Worth and deliver it to N. Dallas. A few hours before the scheduled pick up they called me and cancelled saying it was too dangerous for them to transport a dryer. I scrambled and luckily found Truck Buds. They were able to accommodate my last second needs beautifully at literally half the price of the other company. Their communication was spot on weather via text or phone call. Truck Buds is amazing to work with! They came out for a junk hauling job we had. They were able to haul off everything we had in one trip (which usually takes 2) and all in about 1-2 hours! When a box was taken by mistake I let them know and they found it before they dumped everything and held on to it before I could pick it up. Excellent customer service! First time using Truck Buds. I found them on Yelp. They moved a washer and dryer carefully and timely. The two gentleman were respectful and knowledgeable. They set up the washer and dryer connections after moving them. Other moving companies wanted to charge a two hour minimum fee, which was not appropriate for my situation of needed to move two appliances within my complex. Truck Buds was a great match for what I needed. Definitely recommend!! read more
