I don't even know where to begin, this was truly a 10/10 experience…read more I came in for an emergency dental visit, and they took me in immediately, no hassle, no runaround. Even though the office was clearly busy, I never once felt rushed or like just another patient on a list. The entire team was incredibly attentive and genuinely focused on making sure I was comfortable and okay. I ended up needing a crown, and they handled everything right then and there, no temporary fix, no waiting weeks for a crown. The fact that they were able to complete the entire procedure on the spot was impressive on its own, but what stood out even more was the quality of the work and the care behind it. Jackie and Dr. Rob were exceptional. They walked me through everything, made sure I felt at ease, and checked in constantly throughout the process. For something that could have been stressful, they made it seamless. I'm beyond grateful for the level of professionalism, efficiency, and compassion I experienced. Couldn't recommend them more. Thank you again! Ps: even got an eye mask and hand mask to relax later!

I had a mixed but ultimately negative experience with this provider and would not return…read more At my initial visit, there were some early concerns. The doctor repeatedly emphasized how busy he is, which came across as rushed and somewhat dismissive. Before proceeding with treatment (Botox for TMJ), I reached out via email and phone with specific questions, including a request for him to consult with my neurologist, which my neurologist recommended. I was told that the doctor deemed the consultation unnecessary and that he would address any questions at the time of the appointment. I was also told he was too busy to review my questions in advance. This made it difficult to feel fully informed or confident going into the procedure. I decided to pursue the procedure anyway. To his credit, during the procedure he did answer my questions and agreed to treat the requested area. However, at my two-week follow-up, I reported increased pain that had been impacting my ability to work and function. The doctor shared a story about another patient he described as someone who complains all the time. The story felt indirect but strongly implied that patient concerns like mine might be exaggerated. This made me feel uncomfortable and dismissed at a time when I was seeking support and clarity about worsening symptoms. Additionally, while in the waiting room, I observed another patient being questioned in a similarly dismissive tone when she asked for additional help post-treatment. This reinforced my concern about how patient concerns are handled in this practice. Overall, while the procedure itself was completed, the communication style, lack of responsiveness beforehand, and dismissive handling of post-procedure concerns made this a negative experience. I would encourage others to ask detailed questions in advance and consider whether this practice is a good fit for them. Long-term results of my treatment experience are yet to be determined, but I will not be returning due to the unprofessional manner in which the provider speaks about, and to, patients.

Just a lot of mistakes. The plan was great and everyone is incredibly nice, but it does feel like maybe they just, haven't yet figured out their business model and how to make it work smoothly. I miss the days where I had a dentist hygienist and a nurse doing everything together. They definitely feel rushed. The dentist pops in and out while working on your teeth. I think I've gone to too many super experience dentist to move much more slowly. So I might be a little spoiled. Everybody here is working very hard.. Like many, I dread visiting…read morethe dentist for routine cleanings, but my experience here was stellar (and now, my teeth are too!). From start to finish, I felt taken care of by the entire team and was highly impressed by their warmth, transparency (re: insurance pricing), and keen insights on my dental health. It has taken me quite some time to reflect upon this before writing a review. The Chicago Dental…read moreStudio is a decent facility overall, but I could never in good conscience recommend seeking dental care here due to Dr. Bosworth. The first issue that occurred is when I had a dental procedure performed. After injecting lidocaine, it took some time for Dr. Bosworth to come back and check on me. During the beginning of the procedure, he left the room to see other patients and didn't return for almost an hour. At that point, the local anesthesia had worn off and I had to undergo another unnecessary painful injection. It is quite obvious that Dr. Bosworth was juggling multiple patients at one time. This seems to be to maximize profit rather than actually focusing on providing quality care to each individual at a time. This was a scheduled appointment and it is never acceptable for a patient to have a needle stuck in their mouth, and then be essentially ignored for an hour, and then have to be stuck again just due to the wait. The second and much more concerning issue was regarding a crown that was placed. I had a root canal performed years before. Dr. Bosworth placed a crown over this area. Several month's later, I started having pain. When I saw Dr. Bosworth, he assured me that could not be the case since I should have no sensation in the area with the nerve already removed. I mentioned this several additional times and each time Dr. Bosworth wrote me off and ignored my concerns. I came to find out that there may sometimes be accessory nerves that may remain after a root canal and could absolutely continue to cause pain. I mentioned this to Dr. Bosworth yet again and he essentially told me that this was not the case and that my pain was from something else. Fast forward to a year later and I saw a different dentist as the pain was getting worse. They performed imaging and confirmed I had an accessory nerve in place that was indeed infected. The infection was too significant and had been occurring for so long that they would not be able to drill through the crown and tooth to treat the infection. I ended up having to spend thousands of dollars and go through several painful procedures to have the tooth extracted, then months later have a post placed, and then ultimately have another crown placed. I was informed by my new care team that this all could have been avoided if the accessory nerve infection was treated initially. This is despite me laying out the exact diagnosis for Dr. Bosworth. It is concerning that he lacks this medical knowledge despite his training, and even more concerning that this is the case after his patient had handed him the exact diagnosis. The pain and cost that I sustained due to Dr. Bosoworth's negligence is something I will always regret. I should have never gone to this dentist. I can't change what happened, but I would like to warn anyone thinking of seeking dental care here.

I came to Dr. Choi after having a terrible and misleading experience at a different dental practice, and I couldn't be happier that I did! I initially scheduled a visit with Dr. Choi for a second opinion, after another dental practice tried to upsell me and gave me a confusing, inconsistent treatment plan. From the start, Dr. Choi was transparent and kind. He reviewed my case thoroughly and explained that I did not need half the procedures the previous practice had quoted me for. He took the time to walk me through what truly needed to be done and made sure I understood everything clearly. One of the treatments I actually did need was a tooth extraction. I was very anxious because my prior dental experience had been painful and traumatic. However, with Dr. Choi, the experience was completely different, it was painless, quick, and seamless! The whole procedure took about 35 minutes, and I didn't feel any pain, not even during the anesthesia injection something that had terrified me before. Dr. Choi is patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely cares for his patients. Throughout the entire procedure, he continuously checked in with me, explained each step, and made sure I was comfortable the entire time. His honesty and professionalism truly set hims apart. I can't recommend Dr. Choi enough! If you're looking for a dentist in the city who is honest, gentle, and genuinely dedicated to your well-being, this is absolutely the place to go!
