First of all, I LOVE that the store is still owned and operated by E themselves. Amazing! They were at the cashier stand both times I came in. Second, I LOVE that this is a house outfitted to be a shop! It's sooo magical to see everything organized by theme or color coordination while wandering through the different rooms. Vintage kitchen goodies in the vintage kitchen?! Say less. Third, the prices are quite reasonable for the amazing quality and uniqueness!! It's such a well-curated shop, and deals around every corner. I got a bunch of stuff my first stop in, from macrame plant holders to art to bowls. I feasted my eyes on a vintage leather coffee table ($200) that I wanted for my space, and when I called a few weeks later, E confirmed it was still there so I came and got it. I stopped in a few days before Christmas, and I actually had a few things yet I wanted to get my grandpa, so this worked out great. At the entrance - and throughout the store - I found free hot coffee, tea, refreshments, cookies, and treats. Maybe it's just a holiday thing but I loved the hospitality. The space is HUGE - so much more than clothes! I had no idea. They have: - books and coffee table books - a whole room dedicated to perfume/cologne and scents - a whole area for cocktail-related gifts - home decor, tableware, and interior decor items - kitschy smaller giftables that were organized by theme (work/office, hosting, etc.) - menswear and womenswear - jewelry - candles - and so much more! Frankly, I couldn't find my size in any women's shoe style. The good news is that the other departments made up for this deficiency. I loved the luggage section where I was impressed at how light luggage is becoming. My current piece of luggage seems archaic compared to the ones that I was looking at. The women's clothing section was good. I liked the variety and size organization. The prices were decent, too. This store is a Marshalls-HomeGoods combo. It means that you can shop at both stores without setting foot outside to go into the other store. It's convenient and cool. The washrooms are in the far left corner of Marshalls. To start this umbrella is exactly what we are looking for. We wanted to measure to make sure prior to spending that much on an umbrella that it would work in a specific area of our patio. Al was fine until I mentioned that I had to think about it as well as possibly do some homework! It was at that moment Al became obnoxious and outright condescending towards me and technically called me a liar as he said I was not serious about the purchase. He then stated that I wasted his time! So, you know this was one of the most embarrassing interactions that I have ever encountered with any sales person in my 52 years of existence. I was with my fiancée and future in-laws and they could not believe the way Al was talking to me. There was even another patron at the event that walked by and said to me " do need me to help drag you out of this ? Seems a little heated!" This experience reminded me of someone trying to sell a fake Rolex in front of a gas station.

CONSUMER ALERT. Beware when doing business with M & Sales. I purchased a 20 x 20 umbrella…read moreseveral months ago. It did not arrive when I was told it would. When it did arrive, the base to hold the umbrella was missing. When I contacted M&E, I was told they were on backorder but should be available in a few weeks. A few weeks became a couple of months and still no base. The umbrella has been sitting in pieces in my garage for months. I asked to send it back and get a refund and was told no refunds on items purchased at shows. In short, I have a huge 20x20 umbrella (painful reminder) in multiple pieces, I get to see every time I pull my car into the garage. Management is no help and can provide no answers or dates. My $1,500 umbrella is nothing more than a pile of aluminum and sunbrella taking up space in my garage. There are a lot of other options out there, (Costco, Home Depot etc) use any of them, don't trust M & E with your hard earned money.
