We were finally able to get around to checking it out & I LOVE that when you walk in it's so bright and colorful with a plethora of items. Makes me so happy. This location is 2 floors of shopping. We didn't get down to the basement but the main floor had enough going on for me. If you never been to Patina, they sell home decor, gifts and such. The store is pretty randomly organized but in a cool look at everything way. Like you can be looking at display that's different pink items, or Mn themed or food themed. It is on the expensive side but overall good quality stuff.

The last six years we have spent more time in Florida and I had not been in a Patina store all that time. Yes, it is beautiful colorful fun and everything is displayed so perfectly. But the price points have SOARED and the uniqueness/quirkiness/extra special FUN has dropped considerably. The cards are lovely but not outstanding. Text is minimal. The entire store is more monochromatic in terms of product designs/ concepts/unique creativity. The buyers are good but not excitingly wonderful anymore. There was no service at the St Paul Highland store. A tall gentleman was aloof, just "there" to check out... Sad.

The space is organized in a way that feels inviting and homey. The owner has always got a pot of coffee for guests and a cute little selection of mugs to drink from as you browse! She also makes some of the things in the shop, lamp shades and hats and maybe other things I don't know about. Very crafty lady, reflected in the curation of the shop itself. Largely decor/dish type items here but there's also some odds and ends you could grab for your own projects, like 25¢ old keys. I usually come away from here with just one treasure because they do have vintage rather than thrift prices. For example today I got a tea light holder with 3 hanging glass baskets for $26. I think that's pretty fair in this economy though, especially for a small business as lovely as this one.

I'm gonna let the photos speak on this one...E's is a PARADISE. Seriously such a hidden gem!…read more My friend and I stumbled upon it during a thrifting weekend, and I think it was my biggest score of the weekend. First of all, I LOVE that the store is still owned and operated by E themselves. Amazing! They were at the cashier stand both times I came in. Second, I LOVE that this is a house outfitted to be a shop! It's sooo magical to see everything organized by theme or color coordination while wandering through the different rooms. Vintage kitchen goodies in the vintage kitchen?! Say less. Third, the prices are quite reasonable for the amazing quality and uniqueness!! It's such a well-curated shop, and deals around every corner. I got a bunch of stuff my first stop in, from macrame plant holders to art to bowls. I feasted my eyes on a vintage leather coffee table ($200) that I wanted for my space, and when I called a few weeks later, E confirmed it was still there so I came and got it. It's now one of my favorite pieces in my living room! I could come here every weekend (and find more to buy each time). I can't recommend this shop enough!

There was plenty of parking on a Sunday morning. I parked fairly close to the main doors and walked in. The shoe department was staring at me. The main reason why I am not a huge fan of Marshalls is due to the lack of size 11 women's shoes. I saw a cool pair of grey Converse sneakers. They weren't in my size. Frankly, I couldn't find my size in any women's shoe style. The good news is that the other departments made up for this deficiency. I loved the luggage section where I was impressed at how light luggage is becoming. My current piece of luggage seems archaic compared to the ones that I was looking at. The women's clothing section was good. I liked the variety and size organization. The prices were decent, too. This store is a Marshalls-HomeGoods combo. It means that you can shop at both stores without setting foot outside to go into the other store. It's convenient and cool. The washrooms are in the far left corner of Marshalls. The women's was roomy and clean. Marshalls is growing on me. It simply needs larger women's shoe sizes to make me a happy camper. (97)

To start this umbrella is exactly what we are looking for. We wanted to measure to make sure prior to spending that much on an umbrella that it would work in a specific area of our patio. Al was fine until I mentioned that I had to think about it as well as possibly do some homework! It was at that moment Al became obnoxious and outright condescending towards me and technically called me a liar as he said I was not serious about the purchase. He then stated that I wasted his time! So, you know this was one of the most embarrassing interactions that I have ever encountered with any sales person in my 52 years of existence. I was with my fiancée and future in-laws and they could not believe the way Al was talking to me. There was even another patron at the event that walked by and said to me " do need me to help drag you out of this ? Seems a little heated!" This experience reminded me of someone trying to sell a fake Rolex in front of a gas station.

When it did arrive, the base to hold the umbrella was missing. When I contacted M&E, I was told they were on backorder but should be available in a few weeks. A few weeks became a couple of months and still no base. The umbrella has been sitting in pieces in my garage for months. I asked to send it back and get a refund and was told no refunds on items purchased at shows. In short, I have a huge 20x20 umbrella (painful reminder) in multiple pieces, I get to see every time I pull my car into the garage. Management is no help and can provide no answers or dates. My $1,500 umbrella is nothing more than a pile of aluminum and sunbrella taking up space in my garage. There are a lot of other options out there, (Costco, Home Depot etc) use any of them, don't trust M & E with your hard earned money.
