It's only open weekends but used to be just once a month. I ended up coming home with some cool little Swedish wash clothes, a set of new glasses with French words on them and a gorgeous2 tiered platter rack thingy. I also REALLY wanted to bring home a unique one of a kind French bar cabinet but not sure where to fit it into our new place yet. First of all, I LOVE that the store is still owned and operated by E themselves. Amazing! They were at the cashier stand both times I came in. Second, I LOVE that this is a house outfitted to be a shop! It's sooo magical to see everything organized by theme or color coordination while wandering through the different rooms. Vintage kitchen goodies in the vintage kitchen?! Say less. Third, the prices are quite reasonable for the amazing quality and uniqueness!! It's such a well-curated shop, and deals around every corner. I got a bunch of stuff my first stop in, from macrame plant holders to art to bowls. I feasted my eyes on a vintage leather coffee table ($200) that I wanted for my space, and when I called a few weeks later, E confirmed it was still there so I came and got it. I'm the proud new owner of this sweet vintage orange velvet couch! I love the uniqueness of it and it's perfect in our living room. The couch was in great condition and even had new foam in the cushions. Lindsey (co-owner) was so sweet. The look on her face when we told her we were buying it was priceless. She was so excited for us and told us the background of where the couch came from, so cool! We were able to purchase it and pick it up that same day, peep the pics!! The store itself was put together so nicely. So many small vintage pieces for home decor and for a great price. When you shop at a consignment shop you expect to find reasonable prices but that's not the case here. I was surprised to see that the majority of the furniture is pretty expensive, especially for used furniture, so don't expect to get any deals here. Her prices are not much different than what you could find elsewhere except that you'd likely find better quality new furniture for the same or similar price. And in some cases for a little less. I didn't really shop around as much as I should have and that was my mistake. The shop owner was not very warm or friendly. That should have been my first indication to turn around and leave but I thought maybe she was just having an off day or something so I just continued browsing. I noticed a matching love seat and sofa set in the back of the store. They appeared to be in good shape and I liked the color and style so I asked the shop owner what the price was for the set. She quoted me just a little under a thousand for both. That should have been my second indication to leave, and yet for some foolish reason that I will never understand, I didn't. But I will readily admit that this was kind of an impulse buy for me. I had recently dealt with the loss of my husband and decided to treat myself to something new (to me) and different because I just needed a change. I completely fault myself for not taking a closer look at the quality of the furniture, or lack there of. The shop owner told me they were priced just a little above what she paid for them so I didn't want to start haggling, although in hind sight now I wish I would have because the furniture isn't worth anywhere near what I paid for it, but at the time I wanted to be fair because I figured she had to make a living too, right? *sigh* I came back the following day and purchased the furniture. It wasn't long before I realized I had made a huge mistake and wasted my time and money. The furniture is very cheaply made. The fabric snags easily and puckers, the back cushions are lumpy and the seat cushions slide around constantly. All of which is hard to see or notice when it hasn't seen much use and you only get to sit on it for ten minutes in a store. I take good care of my things so I was expecting to be able to enjoy the furniture for years to come but I quickly realized that's not going to be the case this time. I am so disappointed. Unfortunately I can't afford to replace it right now so I'm stuck with it for a while and I just hope that it will last for at least a few years while I save some money to buy something of better quality. Overall I think she does have some nice items if you are just looking for home decor but if you are shopping for an expensive big ticket item I'd advise you to think twice, do your homework, take the time to look very closely at what you are buying and most importantly make sure you are getting what you are paying for. If I'm going to spend that kind of money the next time I buy furniture I will be sure to shop at a reputable furniture store and buy new. At least they usually have some kind of return policy if you aren't happy with your purchase. Lesson learned. Buyer beware.

This spot is a nice fix closer to home with super cute home decor made out of found objects and antiques. I found most of their prices spendy, but I am more of a do-it-yourselfer/ crafty type. I still found lots of great ideas! I even bought an old pill bottle and have a list of a few other items I will go back to get, budget willing. My Mom got a peony type flower made out of old sewing patterns! Super cute! Our other fave ideas were old coffee carafes as planters and Ball jars painted metallic! They also have the old-fashioned milk paints for sale or for classes which antique wood nicely. Definitely check this store out!
