I really had no idea what to expect, but as soon as I walked thru the door, was a cart with coffee and tea offerings. I tried both which they were lukewarm (not surprised as this was evening time when I was in there), but the tea was tasty. Then I went in browsing the store myself. There were sections with Christmas related merchandise and just other merchandise. I naturally gravitated towards the stationary/book section-- lots of offerings there. The food/drink sections were huge. Lots of items to explore including international items as well. I thought that was very neat. I briefly looked at the jewelry/aromatherapy section. I found a few pieces of jewelry I'd wear, super cute! Lastly, I headed over to the kitchen section. Found some really cool plates and other kitchen items. I do have to say I was a little disappointed that I passed 3 employees during my visit and not one even acknowledged me. I thought that was very strange and unacceptable. You should say hello to customers when they visit the store. Customer service skills are a large part of customer satisfaction and help decide if the customer will be returning or not. Overall, my first time here was enjoyable and glad I stopped in to check it out. I' think if/when I'm in the area I'll stop back in to see what new goodies they have that time around. I do have to share, I appreciate how bright, spacious, and neatly organized this store is.

I quizzed the front desk about the new policy and the told me I could get 1/3 yard but would have to the price of a 1/2 yard. What a lame policy. I've spent plenty of money at patio town not anymore. I guess I will keep doing my business with Site One where they sell by weight. At least you get exactly what you pay for. Not open on Sundays but I guess I can wait a day and save some money.

So far since delivery in late May of 2022 I have had to…read morereplace the auger motor, the mother board, igniter, and now am waiting to hear about the blower motor and fire plug, both of which melted due to excessive heat while set on medium grilling. My main issue is that the grill has been inoperable for nearly 6 months as I have waited on responses, parts, and tech support. I emailed Trev B. in Tech Support at Memphis Grills again on June 12th, 2023 with the latest issue, which is the melted blower motor and plug, and never got a response. I followed up with another email to ensure he saw the email on June 16th, and never got a response. I called Memphis Grills, was on hold for Tech Support for 15 minutes on June 22nd, then was transferred to leave a message. No response. My local dealer, California Backyard, is trying to help resolve the latest issue, but is not getting a response. I'm not sure what is happening at Memphis Grills, but GOD HELP YOU if you need any support because their grill breaks down. It will be weeks or months, in my case, including Christmas (no smoked prime rib this year kids), Valentine's Day (sorry dear, no special Fillet this year), Father's Day (there goes that epic Nor-Cal Tri Tip), and now my birthday (don't even get me started). As part of my email to Memphis Grills I asked to have someone in Management contact me, because, as an executive in a service industry myself, I thought perhaps I could provide some perspective on my poor experience that would help them. I could also explain how poorly I talk about their product to my other friends, who, like me, spend $25-$30k on barbecue islands and grills like this, and are choosing other products based on my experience here. Delivery charge is a little higher than preferred for a small sized delivery . Overall, we'll always return to Schneiderman's. Local and fair. Our sales person, Thomas, was a star of the experience.
