Chicken ranch wrap
Liz S.

Everything is always SOOOO good! Totally gluten free. I love their wraps. Big portion. Love elephant wars. Their broccoli cheddar soup is amazing.

Great Pizza & Even Better Service! Loved the balance of cheese and sauce on their gluten-free dough! The pizza is light but still packed with flavor, thanks to the rich sauce and fresh cheese. Yousef was super friendly, which made the experience even better. Definitely a spot worth checking out if you're craving good pizza!

pizza with light vegan cheese and vegan cheesebread. (FYH ranch added at home)

well, this place doesn't suck. despite changing their name years ago, "renee's pizza" is what you're looking for when you're trying to find this place. my girlfriend and i ordered pick up and got a 16" thin crust pizza, cheesebread, fries, and a calzone for an unsavory total of... $72. yikes! gotta love that gluten-free *and* vegan tax. first off... adding "light" for the vegan cheese is a must. it almost always is. not only that, they charge you $3 instead of $6, and as you can see, there's still plenty. the pizza was great honestly. i'm not usually a fan of new york style crusts, but this works. their dough is surprisingly pliable and chewy for being gluten free which is a big thumbs up. my only real knock on this is that the "roasted garlic" we added was the jarred stuff. you know.. the kind that's peeled by chinese prisoners' teeth (don't watch "rotten" on netflix, seriously) -- but i digress. the cheesebread is whatever. it's on the same thin crust that their pizza is, and it's just sad and kind of lifeless... reminiscent of what Blaze Pizza calls cheesebread. a sprinkle of vegan parmesan and/or some garlic salt would improve this a lot. it's not bad, just mid as hell. i'd pass on a second visit. the calzone looked awful but was actually pretty incredible. the size of it was decent, the fillings were pretty plentiful... not much negative to say here except it'd be made better with a brush of garlic butter. mm, mm. their fries come off very... five guys. which is good if you're like me and actually enjoy a greasy-and-kinda-soggy fry. they hit the spot, and for someone with celiac (my girlfriend), it was nice to be able to order some deep fried fries and not have to settle with some air fried ore ida at home. as a whole, renee's -- er... Tru... -- is a pretty impressive gluten free place with solid vegan options. previous years' photos of their vegan options look atrocious, but it looks like the new owners have found out how to melt the cheese (which is sad.. it ain't hard). my only kindawish is that they'd have plant-based meats on the menu, but when this relatively small amount of food was already $72, i can see why they don't bother to offer it. absolutely worth a look if you want vegan pizza and/or a celiac friendly option in the area.

New York Thin Crust 12"

We tried something out of our wheel house. Gluten free pizza and breadsticks. Which turned out to my amazement to be pretty good. We ordered a New York thin crust, 12" with cheese and pepperoni plus breadsticks. Almost forgot the Towne Club grape. The breadsticks were boring, bland and a little heavy. The ranch and marinara helped with the sticks. The pizza was out quick like lightning quick and it wasn't bad. Cost was $23.30. Excellent service. Finally we were able to sit inside and eat.

My "elephant ear"...I know you can make them different ways but most still have cinnamon and sugar on them and this one didn't

We love this place. The food is fantastic and safe for our daughter with celiac disease. We go at least once every time we're in Michigan.

We were seated immediately and it was so empty because it was 4, before dinner rush. It was very quiet inside which was nice. Our server was super awesome. She got us drinks and bread right away and gave us time to see the menu. We ordered our food and started eating. The bread was very tough which was strange. I don't remember it being so hard. I asked for another bread when she brought out refills. The new one wasn't as tough but it was still hard. I let my husband eat it and he ate some of it but agreed it was tougher than usual. He ordered calamari and ate all of it. He said it is super delicious. The fettucine alfredo we ordered came out. It tasted so amazing. It was so buttery and creamy, a definite improvement from a few years ago. We were very impressed with the food overall. The only issue was the bread. The service was really great as well.

Our server was friendly and attentive. Their signature bread was hot and delicious. We tried the Costa Rican fish and Chicken Marsala. First the green beans were delicious. I really hate it when the veggie side dish is mushy, an after thought or a medley. Portion size good and marsala sauce was yummy. My husband enjoyed his fish. I got their special midnight martini and they shake/mix and pour at your table. Taste and presentation good. My husband got an old fashioned and while it tasted good, zero presentation. The smores cheesecake was delicious and after dinner coffee hot and strong so I was happy! Overall lovely evening.

There was another couple seated next to us, and after 20 minutes, no server had come to take our order. We eventually had to call someone over for assistance. The woman who helped us was very kind and said she wasn't actually our server, but was more than happy to take our order anyway--which we appreciated. Unfortunately, we saw our assigned server more when it came time to cash out than we did before or during the meal. That lack of attention really took away from what could have been a great dining experience. I've dined at Bigalora before and have never experienced such a long wait just to place an order. Because of this visit, I won't be back anytime soon.

We got an order of the Tuscan fries and a Bacco Sausage which came with sausage, grilled onions, and hot peppers. The pizza was super undercooked in my opinion, it was doughy and flimsy and not crispy at all which was pretty disappointing. Not what I expected from a place that's main thing is wood fired pizza. There wasn't a lot of toppings, it was like half of our pizza didn't have any cheese and the veggies were still really soft and not "grilled" like advertised. Fries were good and service was friendly but I'd rather go to somewhere else for a good wood fired pie.

Most recently i placed an order for a 12:00pm pick up and when i came at 12:05pm not only was it not ready but they never even started it! The employee said it will be a few minutes. Several other customers were waiting and no one was bringing out their orders as well. Food from the kitchen was only brought out to customers who were dinning in. I never received my order until 12:45pm. I would come here more often but due to the long waits I probably won't be coming back unless I choose to dine in and i'm not pressed for time. The food however is delicious with lots of gluten free options. You can choose from 3 sizes of bowls: Junior, regular, and large. The base can be white or brown rice and for an up-charge noodles or all veggies. Protein options are chicken, steak, salmon or tofu. The Spicy tofu which indeed was VERY spicy!! The tofu was perfected fried and coated with just the right amount of sauce. I loved how fluffy and sticky the rice was but i wish there were more veggies. I only received one slice of zucchini, no carrots...only broccoli and cabbage. Food gets 4,5 stars but service gets 2/2.5 because of the extremely long waits. Defeats the purpose of doing an online order for a fast and easy pickup.

I was recommended this by a friend who knew I crave Indian style pizzas a lot and today was the day…read morewhen I was finally able to get my hands at it.. this is a to go only place, and barely any waiting area which is perfectly fine for us. We went through the menu before coming to the place and were still not sure what we wanted to have, the elderly gentleman taking the order probably sensed our confusion and also saw we were about to get from the hungry to hangry mode very soon if we don't have our orders put in so he volunteered to help us decide on our order. The only keywords I gave him was that we are 2 people looking for desi/Indian style pizza and are also vegetarian. He modified his menu then and there and suggested us to mix 2 different items on his menu for half style as naga and other half style as southwestern and offered to substitute the chicken with paneer and also decided the quantity and base we would like... none of this info is on his menu.. everything sounded great and seeing his confidence I decided to go with his suggestion. It turned out PERFECT. I couldn't have asked for a better pizza and I couldn't have made any of those substitutions myself. I cannot believe I waited all this while to check this place out and I had been missing out on this all this while staying in Troy. Thank you sir who took our order. We are definitely going to come back and order more from here. He was so sweet with his gesture he even came outside to give us our pizza to our car with the paper plates, ranch and seasoning, we were not expecting to trouble them to that extent and we feel guilty about it but thank you sir.

A personal win for me was that they also have excellent ranch. I like that you can split the pizza into two varieties if you wish. The pizzas are made fresh to order. We got the cookie too, which was a little steep at $8 but it was gooey in the center and the flavor was good. I like this establishment!
