We are here for a wedding and the resort is amazing! Staff is absolutely incredible, pool is warm with more than enough chairs so no need to run down early to claim on. Great food and drinks. Rooms are comfortable and the butler service is very helpful. Make sure you download WhatsApp and make dinner reservations ahead of time. Steak at the steakhouse isn't as good as the steak at the French restaurant. Wedding was a hit and so fun!

This was our first time in Cancun and to say the least--I have no words to describe how beautiful it is. We were there for a wedding, which was the perfect excuse to indulge in new experiences. Here's the full rundown of my trip, from airport arrival to departure, to hopefully help other first-time Cancun travelers. Arrival & Shuttle TRS Coral is a large property featuring both an adults-only section and a family section. Our wedding group stayed on the adults-only side, which is all-inclusive. The wedding package included shuttle service (about a 40-minute ride from the airport). The resort also arranges shuttles for a fee if not booked in advance. At the Cancun airport, be prepared for a wave of people trying to sell shuttle services or free excursions. We simply said "thank you" and kept walking until we found our driver. The drive into the city is lively, clean, and filled with familiar American restaurants. The final stretch toward the resort is paved but a bit bumpy. Resort Check-In Security is tight at the gates, which was reassuring. Our flight landed at 8:55 AM, and we reached the resort around 10:40 AM. Our booking confirmation stated check-in at noon, but the front desk informed us rooms would not be available until 3 PM. After waking up at 2 AM for travel, we were running on fumes. We were given wristbands, encouraged to enjoy the pool, and offered an upgrade (for a fee). Initially, we declined because we already booked a Swim-Up Junior Suite, but by 3 PM our room still wasn't ready. When we finally agreed to the upgrade, the room assigned had someone else's welcome package waiting in it--champagne, snacks, and even an envelope with another guest's name. After some back-and-forth with our e-butler, we were reassigned to a room in the same building as our group with a so-called "beach view" (closer to the beach, but not truly beachfront). The Property & Amenities The adults-only side is beautiful, featuring: * A pool with a swim-up bar * Plenty of cabanas and loungers * Consistent food and drink service The property is sprawling, with multiple restaurants, shops, and bars. While you can walk, the 24/7 golf cart service makes it much easier. Dinner reservations are encouraged, and with good reason--the variety is fantastic: sushi, Italian, French, steakhouses, and a sports bar open 24/7. Service & Snags One hiccup: on our last day, our room's pool was undergoing maintenance. We had planned to relax on our patio with coffee before our departure, so this was disappointing. The front desk even asked us for proof--so if you have issues, always take pictures. Once I showed them photos of the maintenance crew in the water, they acknowledged the problem. That said, the service staff was phenomenal throughout the stay. They work incredibly hard to make sure you're happy, and tipping them is well worth it. The Beach The highlight of TRS Coral is the beach itself--absolutely stunning. Picture white sand, aquamarine water, and clear blue skies. It's the postcard-perfect view that makes Cancun unforgettable. Final Thoughts Despite a few bumps along the way, the resort and the overall experience were wonderful. We enjoyed the wedding, the food, the beach, and the friendly staff. By the end, we were already planning when we could come back. We returned home safely, refreshed, and grateful for the memories--until next time, Cancun!

First time at TRS Coral but have stayed at multiple other places in Playa Mujeres/Costa Mujeres & Cancun. I wanted to like this place so much more than we did. Overall food was actually pretty good (service was slow) and the beach was wadeable & well kept which i appreciated. There seemed to be more food options on the Grand Palladium side (not adults only) and it was a quick walk that we didn't mind doing. Approximately 40 min from the airport. Took private transport which was pretty easy (arranged through Costco). Check in process was easy enough although the employee at the front desk said he couldn't help us get our app set up so we could make dinner reservations & deferred us to our Butler who we didn't meet till the next afternoon). I was able to figure out the app by myself but most places required the Butler to make the reservation. We got a beach view room & the view was worth it although we tried to stay there as minimal as possible. first time with butler service (shout out to Jimmy & Fernando) - both very nice & professional and made sure we had all of our reservations and things lined up! Really appreciated their service. The rooms were not very updated and the sheets/linens were often dirty (visible stains). Air conditioning in the room was not well ventilated. beds were not comfortable-- my back was on fire every night. there was a tub in the room that we wanted to use on the last night since there's no jacuzzi on site (other than in the Spa) but it was dirty. The spa experience was okay overall-- i really felt rushed during the hydrotherapy circuit and the salt room was fairly pointless. they were nice enough to give us extra time in the jacuzzi but they shuffled us from one room to the next (sauna, steam room , salt room, cry room, jacuzzi, pool) fairly quickly.

We decided last year to do a girls trip and this past February that vacation came true. 5 of us in total, 2, 2, and 1 is how we divided up and I will say, really loved this resort! The weather was pretty perfect for the whole trip and this resort is very walkable, but you were able to hop onto a golf cart for a quicker trip, or they did have a boat you could pop on as well. The room was beautiful with an ocean and pool view. The room itself was super spacious. the bathroom was open, sink and tub you could close off with a large curtain, but I did find it odd that the shower and toilet did not really have a fully closing door, so hope if you're rooming with a friend you don't have an issue with that. We didn't notice that there was a paper with instructions once we entered our rooms, to contact your butler thru WhatsApp but I don't think we really needed them anyway. When we tried to book dinners, we ran into some 'they're full' issue, but my friend bribed our way in, successfully and happily. Really no complaints on the food. The pool was fantastic, although the swim up bar at our part of the hotel was closed so we did one day join the family pool which had the swim up bar open but then you also got the kids splashing in your face. You'll see a lot of, what one staff member called, Mexican Alligators lol. My friend was obsessed with them and they are everywhere. The spa is 1000% worth it. So one massage 80 minutes was like $300 which we were like pass. But than one girl had booked before we got there and got 40% off. After breakfast, a gentleman from the spa was hanging out by the door and asked if we wanted to book, we mentioned the 40% off and he gave us 50% off! So were like heck yeah, book all 4 of us. He told us to get there early to do the Hydrotherpay and I will tell you, I have never laughed so hard at my experience. I can't ruin the surprise but do this and then go into the stunning pool. And make your way upstairs to do some like beet/ginger/lime shots. Super refreshing. The ladies in my group enjoyed all the drinks and I started to get like a strawberry daiquiri but no alcohol. In the states, saying no alcohol first thing I get is oh, are you pregnant??. Here, the guys were like, oh, you driving? lol Yeah, I'm driving. And I thought that was a must better question to get.

Beautiful hotel and resort. My family had a blast the five days we spent here. Every single staff member was so kind, hospitable, and helpful towards us. My favorite part had to be seeing the different types of iguanas throughout the resort, just crawling around as if they own the entire place lol my brother's wedding was hosted here and we all had an amazing time. I had extended family fly in from all over and everyone was accommodated in a comfortable manner. From the butlers, to room service, to the yummy restaurants, to having the convenient golf cart service, the resort is overall very relaxing and therapeutic to reside at. My family and I had a very memorable experience. Majority of my family stayed on the family side of the hotel. My cousin and I had booked a junior suite with a swimout on the adult side. My suite was beautiful and I slept like a log in my bed. The cabana in the back was also very cozy to lay on. I also enjoyed the rainwater shower in my bathroom. 5-star experience!

TRS Coral was without a doubt the best place my fiancé and I have ever stayed. Every single part of staying here was top notch. I have done an all-inclusive once before and it does not even come close to comparing to the experience I had here. The rooms themselves were immaculate - we ended up upgrading to the swim-up room because we were celebrating our engagement and wanted to splurge a bit, and we are so glad we did. Every suite gets a butler assigned to it. We were BLESSED to have Hector and Naysin as our butlers, they were the best! They handled all of our dinner reservations, got us booked for hydrotherapy at the spa, and even arranged for a gorgeous surprise with champagne and roses to celebrate our anniversary. They were kind, thoughtful, and managed every request with ease. Thank you Hector and Naysin! We spent so much time in our private pool area, and Ulysses and Jaime made sure we were never thirsty :) They delivered us margaritas whenever we needed a refill. The resort is HUGE so the best way to get around is golf carts. We met Jose Antonio during one of our golf cart rides, and he became an instant friend of ours! He was so happy and kind, we loved spending time with him. Raymundo and Mariano were our FANTASTIC waiters at Chang Thai, which was one of our fav dining experiences by the way. Alex got the chicken wings and chicken pad thai, I got the summer rolls and tofu pad thai - both were excellent. We did a tequila tasting with Miranda as well. She was fun and engaging, and even taught us a new way to take tequila shots (lime first THEN shot - this is news to me!). Overall we had such a great experience here that we now want to get married here. That is how much fun we had. It was just so exquisitely beautiful and everyone who works there is so kind - they make it so incredibly easy to fall in love with TRS. I can't wait to be back, and we can't wait to hopefully tie the knot here soon and bring everyone we love most!

I was surprised to see that there aren't many reviews for the Grand Palladium restaurants at Costa Mujeres, so I'd like to add some thoughts and recommendations for anyone staying at the resort. There are around 20 different restaurants or so in the resort, and with so many options, it was a bit difficult for me to try all of them, especially since several require reservations or have limited operating hours. El Gaucho is a steakhouse that opens in the evenings and is reservation-only, made through contacting the restaurant or member services. The meal was phenomenal, and over the course of a week, I ate at El Gaucho on three separate occasions. One of the specialties of the restaurant is the sweetbreads, also known as mollejas or calf pancreas. Back home in California, it's pretty much impossible to find this specific cut, especially because it's highly perishable and not well-known. At El Gaucho, they seared the sweetbreads to perfection, creating the buttery, crispy bite that is simply unforgettable. Some other excellent dishes I had were the ribeye cooked to perfection and the citrus sorbet, which brought the meal to a sweet/tangy conclusion. I've had the opportunity to try many of the other dishes at the restaurant, such as the peach salad, the mashed potatoes, and the clams, all of which were also delicious. Pros: Friendly service and meals freshly made to order. Mollejas and any of the steak cuts are phenomenal. Cons: Very strict with the reservation policy. Best to make a reservation at least a day in advance, but new reservations become available every Saturday after 2 p.m.

SAVE YOUR MONEY & Go somewhere CLEANER with better service I am writing to express my extreme disappointment with my stay at the TRS Coral Hotel in Costa Mujeres Mexico. From check in 3/23/25 that was delayed 3 hours to checkout which lacked baggage assistance our group had a awful experience ranging from FILTHY rooms (used shower caps in our shower, spray tan on the white couches, stains on all the linen in the 2 different rooms we entered, to chewed gum all over the vanity on check in) to noise disturbances, to bodily injuries due to broken glass and unresponsive room service to unhelpful reception staff. We had to change rooms 3 times due to significant issues during our stay (primarily with cleanliness) and with those changes we have had issues with room access and key activation DAILY requiring us visit the front desk to have our bracelets reactivated exposing us to the constant unfriendly concierge staff (at first we weren't sure if it was a language barrier or just frustration of our ongoing issues but I dreaded having to speak with them regularly to get access to the rooms). We were even walked in on by staff "checking the room" while unclothed/in bikinis. Initially we were offered a refund for our stay to move hotels then after trying to coordinate transportation to change staff denied the refund and we were stuck. The pros? food was good, cocktails had quality liquor and the food service was wonderful. As someone who has been vacationing in Mexico for the last 10 years annually, I would never return to this resort. It was actually so bad from start to finish this is the first time I've ever left a review for the hotel. I've included the photos throughout the stay on other websites I've reviewed. so feel free to check them out.

    Mold on ceiling

Absolutely unacceptable. Our first room had visible mold and smelled terrible. My friend was sleeping when we realized we had to switch rooms at 1am--after being up since 3am the day before. When we brought it up, the butler casually said someone would come fix it while we were at dinner--fix mold? By painting over it?! That's not just irresponsible, it's dangerous. For the safety of your children and family, do NOT stay here. After being moved, the second room had a clogged shower and sink. The bathroom flooded. And instead of helping, the staff argued with us. We paid nearly $1,000 a night, and this is what we got? Complete disaster. Stay far away. Terrible.

Adults only, couples only, all-inclusive resort - that's a big yes! We hadn't been to a resort in a long time and were very stoked for our visit in August 2025. As is the standard for the Excellence brand of resorts - the staff greeted us warmly and professionally. Instantly, our needs were taken care of - the room wasn't ready, but we were provided with an opportunity to change and immediately take advantage of our stay. The size of the resort initially threw us off - it is much smaller than your typical resort, but it also caters to a smaller crowd for (their words) "a boutique experience." It seemed dead until we got close to the beach area and the swim-up bar. This is where the people hang out. Dinner at El Mar our first night was amazing - excellent seafood (check out the pics) and service. We ate twice each at Lupita Steakhouse and La Isla. Unfortunately, the hotel kept changing the schedule of which restaurant would be open what night. This threw off our dinner plans more than once, and we spent more time at La Isla (with the least exciting menu) getting eaten by mosquitoes than we cared for. During our stay, the beach snacks menu also changed. It went from a delicious two-page menu to a sad one-pager; gross nachos and hot dogs, anyone? Online, people went on full-on rants about this. It turns out the menus across all the Excellence resorts are being stream-lined to the new executive chef's "vision." Some people, from what I read online, are now considering cancelling their reservations, not wanting to fly all the way here for waffles and burgers. On top of the rebranding, the hotel is also undergoing renovations to bring it up to modern times. We thought our room was beautiful, but it was a tad outdated. For customer service, though - the Excellence brand will not settle for less than, well, excellence. All of our interactions with staff at all levels was top-notch. Because of the vibe here - we didn't talk to anyone but hotel staff for four whole days. Staff shout-outs: Denise, Luis, Fernando and Fabiola at the beach; Octavio and Bernice at the spa; Andrea, Aina, and Alexander at guest services; Pasquale, Alex, and Elvis at pool side; Cirilo and Vanya at El Mar, Brenda at La Isla, and Alberto and Barbra at Lupita. Fantastic job, everyone! Vibe: 5/5. Food: 3/5. Room: 4/5. Customer service: 10/10!!!!!

I'll start with the positives because there were definitely some. The property itself is absolutely beautiful. The scenery is breathtaking and picture-perfect, making it one of the most visually stunning resorts we've visited. Unfortunately, that's where our excellent experience largely ended. One of the biggest issues appears to be that the resort's reservations and booking process is not managed on-site, (we were advised it was managed in Mexico) which created several unnecessary problems throughout our stay. Before arrival, we even received an email confirming our room that addressed us by someone else's last name. Upon check-in, we were informed our room would not be ready and were given "Black Card" status as compensation, which was explained as including special upgrades and benefits. However, during our stay we learned that many of those benefits were either unavailable or could not be redeemed, and several staff members didn't seem to understand what the Black Card actually included. When we finally got to our room, there was no hot water in the shower. Thankfully, after contacting the front desk, maintenance responded promptly and resolved the issue. Service throughout the resort was inconsistent. While there were a few employees who truly stood out and deserve recognition, the overall restaurant service fell well below what I expect from a luxury, adults-only all-inclusive resort. I especially want to recognize: * Antoinette, the hostess at Caribbean Grove, who was warm and welcoming. * Deonique, who provided excellent beach service. * Latifah, who took great care of us at the pool. Their professionalism and kindness were highlights of our trip. We also dined at Spice after making reservations. We met some wonderful people there, and Chef OJ was entertaining and made the experience enjoyable. Unfortunately, the table service again was slow and underwhelming. Our biggest frustration came at the end of our stay. The evening before checkout, we asked about extending our reservation and were told we had to wait until business hours because the resort could not process reservation changes on-site. The following morning, we went to the front desk near checkout after waiting for our anniversary breakfast room service--which arrived about 30 minutes late and came with its own service issues. The front desk staff tried to help but explained they had to contact another department for approval. We waited another 30 minutes without receiving an answer. I then tried calling and using the online chat myself, only to be placed on hold and eventually disconnected. Throughout our stay, the guest services phone line was nearly impossible to reach--it remained busy for two consecutive days. While the front desk staff were courteous and did everything they could, they simply didn't have the authority to resolve many issues because decisions were handled elsewhere. Overall, Excellence Oyster Bay has an incredible location and beautiful grounds, but the operational and service issues prevented it from feeling like the luxury experience we expected for our anniversary. For a resort carrying the Excellence name and price point, I expected seamless customer service, knowledgeable staff, and better communication between departments. I left wishing the service had matched the beauty of the property.

Every mgr & staff person @ RC GC go over beyond for each of their guests. We chose this property to celebrate our wedding anniversary, a special occasion we had hoped would reflect in the exceptional hospitality and attention to detail for which this resort is known. As seasoned travelers who regularly stay at five-star luxury properties around the world, we understand that occasional issues can arise; however, what distinguishes an exceptional resort is how effectively those issues are resolved. The issues we feel in this case were not resolved during our stay. Shortly after checking in early July, we discovered that the toilet seat was loose & unstable, shifting significantly during use and creating both discomfort and a potential safety concern. My spouse actually fell off of the toilet seat. We promptly reported this issue in person to the front desk & were informed that the maintenance team will address it, but the problem remained unchanged. The toilet seat was never fixed during our entire stay. The lack of proper follow-through on such a basic maintenance matter was disappointing & not what we expected from this luxury resort especially during our special anniversary celebration. A more frustrating issue occurred the afternoon before our departure day. After spending the whole, hot & humid day at the pool, we returned to our room wet, sweaty & sticky ready to shower only to find that our room key fob had been deactivated. We were locked out of our room in wet swimsuits hot & uncomfortable. There are no phones around in the hallways to call the front desk. Due to the very large size of this resort, we then had to walk a considerable distance back to the front desk to have our key fobs reactivated. This inconvenience could have been avoided. We asked why both of our key fobs had been deactivated prematurely & we received no response. These issues reflect lapses in both maintenance follow-through, guest service & guest experiences. At a property of this caliber, guests reasonably expect reported issues to be properly resolved & room access to remain available until the designated checkout date & time. Atelier Playa Mujeres was on the 2025 Forbes Travel Guide & its reputation for luxury & exceptional hospitality were the reasons why we decided to stay there for our first time. There are many other luxury resorts such as Nizuc, Le Blanc or Live Aqua in Cancun competing & vying for the same category of repeat guests. Whilst there were aspects of our stay that we enjoyed, these avoidable service failures significantly affected our overall anniversary experience. After checking out & whilst waiting in the lobby for our transportation, Diego Gonazalez, the front desk manager approached us to ask about a couple of issues we experienced during our stay. Upon listening to our concerns & praises to some of their staff, we felt dismissed and not taken seriously after speaking with him. Diego was not effective at all in addressing our issues at all. Because we were displeased & frustrated with a lack of response from Diego, we asked for the General Manager's e-mail hoping that the future guests will not experience what we did. What a waste of time! On a positive note, the food here is above average with many offerings in various restaurants. Need reservations for most of them. Los Abrazos was our favorite. There are some rock star staff at this resort: Byron (bellhop), Gerardo (Los Abrazos), and Alfonso (main pool waiter).

Casa de los Sueños (House of Dreams): Must book if you are looking for a reasonable boutique hotel!…read moreIt is located next to a private residence and also the 5-star Impressions Hotel (Hyatt). Once you stay here, you have options to rent bicycles (complimentary) and golf carts from here. I highly recommend getting one of the golf carts from here, as they book out fast. Otherwise, you will have to go downtown to rent them for an hourly rate or daily fee. The hotel has a relationship with Kin Ha beachfront restaurant, which is below the hotel. It is not connected, so you must travel down the stairs and cross the side road to enter the Kin Ha beachfront restaurant for complimentary breakfast (any entree with one simple coffee or juice). You can also lay out at their beach club, which has complimentary kayaking, snorkeling, and paddleboarding (tipping recommended). The rooms are grand and colorful. The pool and ocean views are amazing. There are 13 rooms in this boutique hotel. I was advised that the best rooms here are Grace, Love, and Serenity. You must notify the front desk if you want your room cleaned. Otherwise, you can request items/amenities (even a beach towel) from the front desk. Some other things to note here are the laundry room and jewelry/hat store. The options are a bit limited compared to downtown. Why Casa de los Sueños? This isn't just a place to sleep--it's an integral part of the island (Isla Mujeres) experience. There is someone always to greet you in the lobby. I felt safe throughout my stay here.

It had large shower that has a full length window to a garden area. No one can see you, just in case you were wondering. Service - even before we arrived. I contacted the hotel through whats App. I needed help with the booking. Alex was wonderful and helped me every step of the way. He went beyond his job description to help me. He even helped me set up a romantic gesture for our anniversary. He helped with transportation. He even checked on us when we had not arrived to the hotel yet. Luigi helped check us in. Always asked how our day was going and gave us suggestions on where to eat. The grounds are monitored by a security guard at night. So we felt safe enough to hang out at the beach at night. But we read a lot of reviews at Yelp, trip advisor, ect, and the reviews are mostly glowing and no mention of anything that could be better. I wholeheartedly recommend this resort, but there were a few things that could have been better. But thus was overall the best AI and we will return. Shootout to an exceptional employee Jhordy at inspira pool who went way above and hope to see next time. Our butlers, Ping Ting and Aline were fabulous.. and will request them next time. They made everything run smoother and got us ALL the reservations at the times we wanted. Def would have not happened w/o a butler. Not intrusive at all. appreciated fuss made for our 27th anniversary . A lot sets this apart from other all inclusives. I feel the food and the cocktails are better and more selecting. We often are celebrating either a birthday or anniversary on vacation, and they always ask at resorts. But then nothing is ever done or said to honor it, which is disappointing. That was not the case here. It seemed every server congratulated us on what we are celebrating. made us feel very special, plus I assume the butlers sent roses and champagne with a big chocolate heart to our room. very much appreciated. It might seem childish, but these dates mean something to me, and I appreciate when they are acknowledged. This is a fairly new resort, and everything seems very clean and well kept. The staff was warm, welcoming, friendly, and helpful. If they were understaffed or having a bad day, they sure hid it. Love the way the common areas and bathrooms smell ... omg you will see. I love the fragrance of the molten brown amenities ..going to buy some. Our inspira swim out room was large, quiet, and luxurious. Well-appointed and lovely. The tub was amazing, but they don't have shampoo and conditioner in that area, and the areas they do have amenities it's locked in, so you can't move it. Is inspira worth the extra? We did it both times. Would not risk being upgraded to an inspire Without the cost. Inspira gives you more access, and I believe a bump in service. If you are fortunate enough to afford it then get it ... if not then don't. In the reviews, I didn't run across many with even minor complaints that they could improve, but there are always things that could be better. I'm gonna put those in the tip area ,so if they want to improve a bit on an already great resort. I love it here and the staff are the truly the best. What signs they have are easy Missed And they don't have a lot of signs directing you especially to area that used to be for families. Personally, I think they wanted to make it harder for the family.People to come over to the all adult area back when it was two different resorts. Now that it. 's all adult I really think they should figure out a way to make it easier to navigate. We didn't know that there was a restaurant that had Buffet for all three meals Until halfway through our second Visit. Well i'm gonna leave some tips In the tip area. Because I don't want this to seem like I had a bad trip. This was incredibly relaxing and luxurious and wonderful. Exceptional staff make all the difference. Mixologists at Calle bar are so fun to watch them create liquid art. No one ignored us and no bad attitudes. I would say one of ... possibly the best all inclusive we have tried in all our travels. Sorry sandals, excellence, secrets, Iberostar u have been out done. employees went above the call bring lots of tip money.

Five star all-inclusive and adults only resort!…read more Newly opened resort about 40 mins from Cancun airport and 20 minutes further from hotel zone. Our reservations was for (7) days and the length of time felt right. We booked two excursions; (i) visit Chichen Itza on a tour; and (ii) visit Playa Mujeres on a catamaran. Chicen Itza is a "must do" if you visit Cancun for the first-time (no question). Following our two excursions it was back to the resort to relax, eat and sleep! The resort has (7) eateries from avant garde, to breakfast buffet, steakhouse, italian, american, asian and pastry cafe. The exquisite culinary cuisines at each restaurant was phenomenal but the steakhouse, asian and buffet ranked highest for me. The bars on property were sexy and classy from the rooftop ocean views, lobby and swim up bars with the staff making our experience special. By far, the sky bar and lobby bar were the spots for me each day serving "top shelf drinks". There is also no need to leave your room if you're hungry, room service was impeccable by bringing your meals in a warm service cart with all the condiments and proper silverware. I highly recommend the New York Strip! There is no denying feeling compelled to stay on property to maximize an all-inclusive, but this is one property I'd have no issues being stranded at. Service is first-class, staff is highly attentive and respectful of your privacy and the resort is highly luxurious. If the opportunity to splurge on a room permits, I'd recommend the swim up pool on the ground floor(s) to enjoy swimming under the stars at night with that someone special, you'll forever remember those moments.

In past stays on the island, we rented a golf cart and due to the location of this property, did not need to do so. Fantastic location. The front desk was closed, when we arrived, and had to get an on-site spa masseuse call the hotel manager so we could check-in. Once we connected with the manager, things went very smooth. We arrived to the room, we realized that It had two queen beds rather than the king bed that we reserved. Spoke to the manager and she advised that the rooms with king beds had broken ac. Special note- the manager, Alex, communicated very well, attentive to our needs and offered excellent customer service. She was impressive. The room was clean, large, with all accommodations "as advertised." We were impressed with the cleanliness of the room. It had a mini kitchen, medium sized fridge, and nice closet. The facility offered beach towels in addition to bathroom towels. The towels were of high quality and nice. Our first night, we experienced the ac not cooling well, notified Alex and she promptly addressed our concern and we were very happy. The pool was clean. Spa was not working. Area outside of our hotel room was clean and well-groomed for a tropical type setting. Love the occasional iguana's roaming freely through the area as this contributed to the positive experience. We understand that the price point of this hotel is on the lower end. Based on this we rated it as 4. The hotel is in a fantastic location. Do not expect luxurious accommodations. We would stay here again.
