Delphina- seafood paella

Lovely, lovely experience! This was the perfect all-inclusive relaxation getaway! There's no way I can capture the full breadth of my 5-day stay, but here are some highlights: Customer Service: the staff, from the bellmen to the restaurant staff to concierge, all were welcoming and super hospitable. We had a small mishap with our room, and we were accommodated promptly and received starwberries and a note as an apology. Pools: the pools are spacious enough for all guests. I spent most of my time at the adult pool, which has a cool infinity effect with the ocean! Both pools have a swim-up bar. It was definitely a task to secure beach chairs in the shade, but there are cabanas to rent. Beach: the beach was beautiful, but there was tons of seaweed. Apparently, this time of year (June, July) has the shore covered in seaweed. Not many guests spent time in the beach water. Also, the waves were quite strong. Dining: the dining options truly impressed me! Lunch options were more limited with pizza, tacos, hamburgers, etc. But dinner...AMAZING!! There is a Mexican, Japanese sushi, Japanese hibachi, Italian, Mediterranean, and Polynesian restaurant that you can book off dinner. The food was cooked and seasoned perfectly, across the board (and, I say this as a New Orleanian). My favorite experience had to be Delphina, the Mediterranean spot. It sits out on the seashore and is the perfect tropical ambiance. All dinner resys can be continently booked in the Marriot Experience app. Rooms: the rooms were spacious and comfortable with plenty bathroom space and nice showers. Housekeeping came promptly daily. Overall property: the property was beautiful! The lobby was huge and peered out onto the ocean. So pretty. Every inch of the resort was spotless. It's a family-friendly resort, but I didn't feel overwhelmed with the presence of children at all. It was conveniently located just a walk away from excursion centers and water sports. I highly recommend this resort...was so sad to leave!

The staff here was very friendly. Every time we walked by someone they smiled or said hello. The resort and room was very clean. Loved the view from my ocean facing room with balcony.

Amazing resort with the most friendliest staff, especially the event hosts. The food is delicious and we barely got to try everything the whole 6 days we were there. There were events every hour of the day and we never were bored. I'm glad I stayed here for my first all inclusive resort. I'll definitely be back in the future. Still can't get over the amazing staff and food!

The Marriott Cancun Resort is an absolute paradise! The property is stunning, with breathtaking ocean views, well-maintained grounds, and a relaxing atmosphere. The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable, providing everything you need for a luxurious stay. The staff goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome and ensure you have a great experience. The dining options are fantastic, with delicious food and drinks to enjoy by the pool or at one of their restaurants. Highly recommend this resort for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy the best of Cancun. It's perfect for a getaway, it's an all inclusive resort and you will have all the options to relax there

We stayed here for 7 days, and everything about our experience was wonderful. The staff were amazing--friendly, helpful, and always welcoming. Special shout-out to Marco at Delphine--he made our family dinner extra special and memorable! Food: There's a great variety of food options at the resort. Make sure to book your restaurant reservations as soon as you arrive--they fill up quickly! I genuinely enjoyed all the restaurants, though my least favorite was MO's Milkshake & Burger and Ono Izakaya (sorry!). Must-visit: Organic & Co This spot became our go-to! Everything from the coffee, fruit bowls, and breakfast sandwiches to pizza on the go, fresh juice, and especially the bakery items and sweets. all top notch. I highly recommend the tiramisu! Restaurant Highlights: Hana Grill: The Ribeye and New York Strip Steak were excellent. Delphine: Start with the clam and mussel appetizer, then enjoy your meal with an ocean view. The ribeye and lobster risotto were unforgettable! Poolside Eats: Don't miss the seafood tacos and the ceviche mixto! a must-try! Room Service: Room service was great! I especially recommend ordering breakfast to your room. it was much better than the breakfast buffet, which was a bit underwhelming. I absolutely recommend this place and would love to come back again!

We highly enjoyed this resort! The service was absolutely amazing. I barely sat down and already had a server taking my drink order. The water park area is small but fun. It is a little chilly because it's in the shade a large part of the day. The people at the waterpark were so kind and helpful. They help you get in and out of your tube. My kids absolutely loved the pizza. They accommodated my picky son. I highly recommend asking them to make your personal sized pizza. I enjoy going to the cevicheria and having the seafood tacos at the stand next door. The shrimp tacos were my favorite!!! All of the drinks that we had there were really good and we tried almost all of the bars. My daughter loved sitting at the bar down by the beach because you could sit in the swings. My daughter did go to the kids club briefly.Just to do one activity, and she really enjoyed it. The kids club staff did come and find us down by the pool, and she went and played a game with some other kids in the pool. At one point they were doing face painting, and they actually did a really good job. For dinner we went to the steakhouse. My kids and my husband each ordered two steaks and they said that they were amazing. I ordered the fish, and it was really good as well. We have been to a number of different all inclusives in Cancun, and this one definitely rated up at the top.

Simply nice AF! They treat every visitor like royalty. They remember your name and hold doors open for you. Don't have to ever leave the resort. Lots to eat lots to do and more t

This is our first time going to Marriott all inclusive. From the very beginning until we left all the staff were amazing. The activities in the pool were so great, George and his team really made sure to be inclusive. I was not super comfortable with water but they kept pushing me in a positive way and I loved the experience. The food was amazing! We were thinking since it is all inclusive the quality might not be great, but we enjoyed the food in most restaurants. We will definitely visit this place again.

A great all-inclusive resort, beachfront on the beautiful Cancun riviera, with white sands, swim up bars, and multiple bars and restaurants. The rooms were recently remodeled, spacey and comfortable. Service is excellent at all the resort outlets. Food is four stars, which means very good, with room for improvement. The breakfast buffet is good, but not on par with other comparable resorts. Lunch offerings are weak, they definitely need to improve their variety and quality. Dinner on the other hand is very good, with multiple restaurants; Mexican, Polynesian, Japanese, and American, generally pretty good. The atmosphere is cool, with activities for families on the main pool, and adults only at the smaller pool. There is also a lazy river and water slides, but the best asset is of course direct access to one of the most beautiful beaches in the world!

this is the first all-inclusive marriott in cancun! the resort is stunning at first . when you walk in, you see directly in to the window on the other side of the building of the most beautiful ocean blue! since we were there around christmas time, they decorated the lobby so beautifully. the rooms are super nice and clean. we had an ocean view room and it was simply amazing to nap in bed with the sliding window open to hear the ocean breeze. the pros stop there though. food, service, entertainment are pretty horrible and i was feeling torn about this review because I loved my ocean view room so much. food: 1. HAVE to make reservations or you'll be hungry. this is the first all-inclusive resort i've been to where they are incredibly strict on this. you cannot show up early or late or they will give up your spot and put you to the back of the line... even back if people who didn't make reservations. 2. lack of food options: if you don't make a reservation, good luck. the buffets for the restaurants are all breakfast only and they have the slowest cooks in the world working. the only coffee shop of the resort has laughable options, pastry options are minimal, and food terrible. 3. ordered room service several times and they never showed up. the phones don't work properly either other amenities 1. outside pool is small although they have an infinite pool which was nice . not the worst complaint about the hotel but wish it was bigger 2. they have a lazy river! this was really fun option although i wouldn't call it lazy because it went pretty fast. it was fun but the water was super cold! i highly recommend it though! 3. gym. it was small but clean and did the job 4. no entettainment: i kind of felt bad for the kids because it is BORING. there is no night or day entertainment. they do have a really cool looking kids club but that's it this place is a good option if you are not traveling with children or don't like food :p I'm not sure I would come back to this resort unless i had credit. i did give this place 3 stars though because while it could be waaaay better it had a clean and nice feel to it... compared to other resorts i've been to

Amazing Family-Friendly Experience - Worth Every Penny! We had an absolutely incredible stay! From the moment we checked in, the service was exceptional. Staff were ready to help with luggage, greeted us so warmly, and made sure we were comfortable every step of the way. Traveling with two young kids (a 5-year-old and a 7-month-old) can be stressful, but the team here made everything so smooth. Whenever we had the stroller, there was always someone ready to assist us, whether it was at the restaurants, pool, or around the resort. Food-wise, everything was top-notch. My favorite spots were Mo's Burger and the sushi restaurant - everything was super fresh and flavorful. Around the pool area, they serve everything from pizza, nuggets, burgers, fries, tacos, ceviche, fruit, and more - you'll never go hungry! Plus, the servers were constantly checking in and even started remembering our drink orders, which made everything even more relaxing. My husband didn't even need to leave the pool to get a drink while swimming with our 5-year-old - they brought it right to him! One highlight was renting a poolside cabana for $150 USD - totally worth it. It was spacious, cooler, and perfect for our baby to nap comfortably. On the first day, there were no available chairs and since we had the baby, the staff graciously allowed us to use a cabana complimentary. The next day we officially rented it and were treated like royalty - tacos, shrimp, octopus, guacamole, coconuts, sparkling water, and more delivered right to us. There was a small mix-up at check-out about the cabana charge, but the supervisor quickly sorted it out and even offered us a complimentary lunch at Mo's before leaving. That level of care and service really stood out. The amenities are also excellent - the kids club had daily activities, the main pool had games throughout the day, and every evening there was something going on at the lobby. The resort has a huge pool, an adults-only pool, a splash pad, lazy river, and a slide - plenty to keep everyone entertained. Final thoughts: Amazing food, outstanding service, family-friendly atmosphere, and staff that truly go above and beyond. Please remember to tip! Even though it's all-inclusive, the staff work incredibly hard and deserve to be appreciated. I saw so many guests not tipping, and it didn't feel right. The team here genuinely made our trip unforgettable.

Extremely disappointed with our stay. We get an email from the staff saying that there are several things that are closed: fitness center, spa, water park, and kids club are what they mentioned. They email about 1-2 weeks in advance of your stay and I couldn't cancel without penalties at that stage. The main reason we booked it was for the kids club and water park. As you can see from their website, they advertise it's completely renovated and they suggest the resort will be complete by April 7th, 2024. Completely deceptive and they penalize you for being on this resort since it's running at half capacity. You also get to enjoy the nice sounds of construction while you are at the pool since everything is being renovated. When we arrive at the resort, there is more that is closed. Press + Start is barely open; No arcade games are open. There is barely anything to do while you're at the resort. Hana restaurant is the main area for breakfast; it's supposed to be open for lunch but it's closed. All the restaurants are generally 15-20 minutes ready after the suggested opening time. Maybe it's worth the renovations but otherwise stay away from

The Sushi spot at the restaurant was amazing!

We went to celebrate my husbands bday and our 21st anniversary! The food was amazing , the activities were awesome, the pools were always clean and staffed well!! Make sure you stop by the main lobby bar that opens at 4, Jason and Enrique will take care of you! They also have awesome ladies that walk around and make sure you are never in need of a drink! Can't wait to go back!

And with billboards offering services directly to your room and a hospital system where you only go if you're sick. The "grey area" is a pretty loose term. The entire hotel is illuminated with L.E.D.'s. The space is immaculate. It was 1/4 mile from the room to the lobby. The ballrooms and convention spaces are like a stadium. (Indoors or outdoors). The public bus arrives every (2) minutes and are often full. It is approximately .50 US to go 30 miles downtown. Just looking at the creative ideas a child could write a book . "This ain't Tijuana". Every single person that works at this property is out of this world! Kind, helpful and always going above and beyond to make things memorable! There's always a little bit of construction because they're renovating, so plan accordingly by calling with them to make sure the areas you want open, are open. The new speakeasy is super cute. We visited there one evening and have the best time and service! This isn't the same restaurant where you go to breakfast but at night is a Spanish tapas restaurant. Everything was fantastic but all the food on the property is really great! We especially loved to order lunch by the pool. All the cocktails are fantastic, even poolside! Rooms are standard JW with some of them recently updated with the others on their way to being updated. Yes, there is a sort of a musty smell in the air, but that's in most hotels. It's a very hard to keep those highly humid rooms from smelling a little musty. You just have to get over it and enjoy the time outside the room. Pools are super cute and the beach area is nice. There is an adult pool that is open during the day but wish it was open later! Lots of places in walking distance if you decide to venture out of the property but why would you need to! Easy drive from the airport and to the downtown or for departure to Isla Mujeres. We did not go to the island this time but last time we booked everything through the hotel and they made it super easy.

Unfortunately, for the past two years, our experiences have declined significantly. The hotel no longer maintains the level of service and standards we once loved. The atmosphere feels different, the staff are not as welcoming, and there is a noticeable lack of attentiveness and care. During this stay, we had a particularly unpleasant two-day experience at the beach regarding the setup of lounge chairs and umbrellas. Rather than going into every detail, I will simply say the situation was handled poorly and left us very disappointed. What was most upsetting was that no meaningful effort was made to resolve the issue or make up for the inconvenience. Even after speaking with Guest Relations, who mentioned contacting the General Manager, nothing improved the following day. No accommodation or gesture was offered, which was surprising given the hotel's luxury positioning. It is also noticeable that the property feels quite empty during weekdays, except on special occasions or long weekends. Even then, the warmth and hospitality we once associated with this hotel seem to be missing. That said, I want to sincerely recognize Valenzo, who served us daily. He was professional, kind, and incredibly attentive. We never had to ask for anything, he would notice small details, like refilling ice before we even realized it was melting. His service was outstanding and he truly tried to make our stay better. Thank you, Valenzo. You made a difference. It is genuinely sad to see a place that once meant so much to us lose its standard. We hope management takes guest feedback seriously and invests in retraining staff to restore the level of service this property was once known for.

We stayed in an oceanfront room which had a beautiful view with a seating area inside and on the balcony. The room and bathroom were very clean and well stocked. I like the aromatherapy touch in the resort and in our rooms being able to choose which scent you wanted was very nice. I loved the separation of the toilet and shower by a wall and doors for privacy when using either. The water pressure and water temperature in the shower was great although there was some water draining from the shower during use. We would generally put a foot towel down to contain the water. The room was serviced twice daily so we were never without towels, etc. I also utilized the laundry service which was reasonably priced for three pieces of clothing and it was returned the next day. The staff was generally very courteous and helpful (we only had one less than courteous experience with a waiter at the Hidden Garden on our last evening). The food at the restaurants and by the beach and pool area was great - I cannot say enough about the fresh fruit and the grilled ribs and chicken so well seasoned and cooked with flavor. We ate daily in Siete for breakfast (the smoothie station you will need to go to first because it fills up because the smoothies are sooo good). We also dined at Hidden Garden where I enjoyed Indian cuisine which was delicious (but a small portion). All inclusive so it was nice not having to continually carry payment and only the gratuity needed for the staff. The last two mornings of our stay there appeared to be construction in the room next door or our floor which was disturbing - we did alert the front desk staff and it would generally stop around a certain time. Getting beds and chairs at the beach was generally easy but for the pool it was the hunger games usually having to place towels or bags on chairs early to 'reserve' them (there are no reservations for chairs only for the larger cabanas for an additional fee) We also experienced the spa which was amazing. I have nothing but good things to say about this place for a all inclusive, ADULTS ONLY resort. The resort it self was clean, modern and flawless. The service and people working there was top notch, everyone made us feel like royalty. The food was so good, obviously some spots weren't perfect but 90% of the time we LOVED what we ate. Was full inclusive so we ate a ton and drank a lot! The pools were beautiful and lots of options having 4. From Tuesday to Thursday it was so easy to get a spot at the pool or beach, would show up at 11am and find a two chairs and umbrella no problem. Friday/Saturday it was a bit harder since it's the weekend so the pool area was packed by 1pm but went to the beach and again found two spots with umbrella no problem. Beach was solid for hotel zone, this area of Cancun is known for having bad seaweed but the resort did its best to keep it cleaned up. Was able to get in the water some days and not see the seaweed everywhere. We did a preferred booking so got room on a higher floor, exclusive quick check in, access to roof top pool and restaurant. So if you don't care about those things just do a regular room but the upstairs pool was incredible. This place is definitely a relaxing resort, not a ton to do at night but that's what we wanted for our honeymoon. Pool can be somewhat lively during the day with music, and performances but at night it's just casual bars, restaurants and what not. Everything dies down before 12. Did a spa day too and it was great, had a couples massage, full body scrub, and hydrotherapy circuit for two that costs $398. I recommend booking it when you arrive as they may have deals. It was a great experience overall, we would for sure come back 100%!!! Every single worker there was so nice and helpful. Did not have a single bad experience with anyone that worked there.

Sharing a small bed with my sister made the night even more miserable, and the furniture barely felt usable. Cleanliness: Absolutely terrible. Not only was there mold, but the general vibe of the hotel made it feel uncared for. I wouldn't trust anything in the room that might touch my skin or clothes. Environment: Outside the room, there were ants crawling everywhere, which is gross and completely avoidable. The hotel clearly doesn't maintain its property properly. Food & Amenities: The food was honestly mid at best--nothing to write home about. Limited options, bland taste, and completely underwhelming for a resort that calls itself all-inclusive. After seeing the room and the unsanitary conditions, I honestly didn't even bother trying much. Overall experience: This place is not worth your money. One night here feels like a lifetime of discomfort. If you're expecting a clean, comfortable, all-inclusive resort, stay far away. The beach might be okay, but that's not enough to make up for moldy floors, tiny beds, mid-tier food, and ant infestations. Rating: 1/5 stars--maybe even 0 if Yelp allowed it. This hotel deserves the low reviews it gets. I can't stress enough: don't stay here unless you want to ruin your vacation. Update: This place somehow got even worse overnight. People were blasting random music at full volume outside until 1 AM, and the hotel did absolutely nothing--no control, no quiet hours, nothing. Sleeping here was basically impossible. On top of that, the bedsheets were so bad they made my skin irritation significantly worse, and I woke up in actual pain. Between the noise, disgusting conditions, and zero management, this was easily one of the worst nights I've ever had anywhere. Avoid this place at all costs.

Pros; Great location, cool memorabilia and shows …read more staff very friendly , awesome fish tacos and Asian cuisine good . Cons : Management doesn't seem to care . Food although most was tasty was way too Salty , extremely salty ( all restaurants), Toro restaurant food was cold , server also forgot our salads . 2 days in the hotel ran out of Sauvignon blanc wine! 5 days later still none( so much for all inclusive) Could go on about little things like ran out of coffee cup lids etc. but rant over . To many other good choices if they don't care .

Hard Rock Cancun feels more like a faded backstage pass. *AMBIANCE* The hotel is noticeably dated--worn furniture, tired decor, and not well kept. In some guest hallways and rooms, you are hit with a strong MILDEW / MOLD smell the second you walk in, which was an instant red flag and made it hard to appreciate anything else. We had to switch rooms after the first night from the smell which gave me a headache. We also noticed condensation leaking from the AC, broken furniture, cracks in the walls, etc. Now the best part was probably the beautiful beachfront location, large pool facility and getting to see the oceanfront view. *FOOD* If you want to eat dinner at the themed restaurants (Hibachi, Italian, Steakhouse, Seafood), you have to reserve a time slot on their app. The app was quite glitchy. The food had its moments, but overall, it felt like the chefs were playing a game of culinary roulette. Some dishes were good enough to make me hopeful, while others made me question every life choice that led me to that buffet tray. I would say the best spot was the pizzeria, it was fresh, though pies were gone in seconds once they came out from the oven. *SERVICE* Upon instantly checking in, you feel like you are herded like cattle by being passed onto their concierge that tries to sneak in a timeshare presentation. That said, service at this hotel felt more reactive than proactive. Overall, for a 5-star hotel, it certainly felt a lot lower than that. If you're looking for a clean stay with 5-star service, I'd probably look elsewhere.

WOW This is our…read morefirst resort in Cancun and I don't think we will ever choose another one. FOOD Wow. We did our homework before our trip and saw Zilara Cancun had good/decent reviews about their food. Let me tell you, this is probably the best food I've had in a long long time. Top dishes for me are the octopus with mole and lobster tostada from Maria Marie. If you like/can eat seafood, trust me on this. The drinks are phenomenal as well. There are signature drinks at all the restaurants. Those are mostly hits but some are misses (depends on your taste buds) PRO TIP: sign up for alcohol tastings at The Den first day you get there. We did tequila and wine tasting. It was quite a unique experience. SERVICE I've never gotten treated like this in any hotel I've been at. Chef's kiss for sure. The bellhop/front desk usually can break your 20s/100s into 1s so don't feel the need to exchange pesos (unless you want to of course). The workers at the hotel (and around Cancun overall) takes USD PRO TIP: there are a lot of activities hosted by the hotel. Morning exercise classes are really fun and the night shows are just okay. The crowd is definitely on the older side that just want to come to Cancun and chill not party. From hearing the reviews, Zilara had the most amount of activities from various first hand reviews from our friends All in all, solid resort. You won't regret it!

I wish they would have advertised/told us the buffet had different theme dinners. They were our favorite for dinner. There were good dishes at each, but nothing phenomenal. I really liked the lunches they had set up by the pool. It was overall good and on par with my expectations for an all inclusive. BEACH- this is honestly one of the highlights. The resort had one of the best beaches and ability to get in the ocean. If you want to get in the ocean, this is the spot. SERVICE - this was the most disappointing. At Excellence you cannot breathe without someone asking if you need something. It took a long time for people to check on us and we tip well. Day 4 we finally found Humberto who was THE BEST! Find him and tip him well. ROOMS- they were good and I was happy with them! POOLS- the pools were fine. A little shaded. The most annoying part was the cabana situation. Some are free, some are always paid, and some are paid on certain days. I get up at like 6AM every day anyways so I got good cabanas but if you're not an early riser you're screwed. Overall, I'd return!!

The service is excellent. The rooms are OK but there's some bumps in the road. Our first day with our check-in was a little bit complicated and the restaurant that we went to that evening was terrible. It's called Vibre. We went to the Italian restaurant, Capella, and because we had the reserve option. We also tried. Both of these restaurants were excellent. The bartenders outside were excellent Raymundo by aqua was wonderful. The bartenders at the adult side pool were also great. The service by the pools is lackluster in the general areas. In the past, we used to be able to order snacks and they would be delivered to us in the general area but now that option is only available at the reserve. If you do not have children, I highly recommend paying extra and staying on the adults only side. I don't know if we will visit Paradis again. It's not what it used to be many years ago.

Food: 4/5 Service: 5/5…read moreAmbiance: 4/5 Parking: 4/5 Family friendly: 5/5 Stroller friendly: 5/5 ADA accessible: 5/5 Through lots of research my wife found Fiesta Americana Condesa. It had the best reviews for what we, as a family, needed. The whole point of the trip was to take our family, including abuelos, on a vacation everyone would enjoy. Being abuelos' first time at an all-inclusive, it exceeded their expectations and they loved the experience. They were able to get food and drinks as they pleased. For the kids, all they needed was a kid friendly pool, other kids to play around and they were happy. However, Fiesta Americana Condesa also offers a kids club from toddlers to teens. I do want to highlight how EVERYONE ( all staff) were exceptional from the moment we step foot on the property to the time we left. For our family, every eatery visited was well run, again all staff was super friendly and more than helpful with some even go your of their way to accommodate for reasonable food preferences, specifically, the Buffet. Are there things that can improve? Yes, of course there are, just as with any other hotel. Some of the fixtures might need updates, the gym could use 40 -45 lb (18-20kg) dumbbells and recovery equipment, Sushi Corner MOST DEFINITELY HAS ROOM FOR IMPROVEMENT and lastly, there could be more adult activities. But in reality, most people come to ALL-INCLUSIVES to drink to your hearts content, drink some more, then drink some more and maybe throw in some food somewhere. The central lobby bar didn't seem to be at a loss for patrons throughout the day. If you're looking for fun time, a good variety of food, adult and family friendly activities, and WON'T BREAK THE BANK then I'd recommend checking out Fiesta Americana Condesa.

Barely any lighting in the room none of the outlets work. And the ice machines didn't work on our level and the four levels above us that we didn't even bother going for more. The food was disgusting. There was really nothing that was great maybe one thing at each place. And there were some of the restaurants where you'd have to pay more for premium items and it wasn't even worth paying the premium. I suggest going to the city and eating anywhere else than having to pay here. This is the second time that I have gone to an all inclusive and although it's Handy, the drinks are watered down including the beer. I just think if you're paying four to $600 a night it needs to be a little better. Oh my God and I forgot that there was construction outside of our door. I'll post a video if you wanted to take a nap during the day don't count on it.
